Anet kind of brought this sort of nonsensical feedback on themselves when they said they want every profession to have new roles so I can't really argue with you too much. Even if I disagree with the idea that every profession should have most roles available. However, I love Untamed. It rewards me for using my disables and switching between tanking and ranging while my pet tanks. It probably isn't the most optimal elite spec but I don't care. It's fun. -
I really don't like that the wells teleport the Specter to enemies. It just doesn't mesh with the use of a ranged support weapon..
