To make matters worse, this is really hurting everyone. I had 8 people use the wings as a test, and I lost 20 frames when I did not have the wings equipped. When they changed their backpack, the frames went backup. I see people reporting lower framerates; however, we can prove the new wings are a huge culprit in recent performance issues. It is so bad we will not let anyone use them in Raids. When will Arenanet acknowledge the issue?

If I can dye my legendary weapons... I would be so happy. Their color scheme never works for the look I am going for.

Requests: 1.) Primeval Outfit. I do not want armor pieces with it like the outfit. Just your body engulfed in the effect with eyes like the mount pack. If you feel the need to do armor do heavy armor that is engulfed in the effect. Do not do a helm, just the effect applied to your head. 2.) Primeval Skyscale 3.) Primeval Weapon Collection 4.) Primeval Dragon Wings (Like the older scaled-dragon wings with the primeval effect) 5.) Choya and Unicorn finisher 6.) 32 shared inventory slots

If this is suppose to be a casual MMO. We should have more mastery sources. My friends play this because it is the casual friendly option. If that is no longer the case, they are on the right track.

Top end guild will not let you raid with a necro. You will get the ocassional negative comments for playing a necro in raids and fractals. You will do significantly more DPS while buffing others playing a meta class like Guardian. I no longer raid on my necro. It is my favorite class but i easily do 20% more dps on otber classes with less effort. Necro is still my favorite to play. I feel they are fine for all other PVE content. Just dont expect arena.net to ever make them competitive in a raiding enviroments.

Signet of suffering buff applies all the time now. Focus: increase damage 2x or allow it to crit so its worth using again.Warhorn: Double duration and same damage or allow it to crit again. Sould Eater. Heals 2% in shroud and 8% out of shroud. Signet of vampirism. Increase radius. Damange and heals slightly increased. Blood blank now adds 10% damage increase while you have a shield. Blood needs a damage option and it is not like you can keep it full time. Right now the tallent is kind of...blah. Scourage reworkStaff rework Axe slightly buffed.

Bitterfrost. So much to do. Decent rewards. You never feel dragged around. The perfect zone to balance and variety.

I play one because they are the best at everything. I know I will be top tier at everything, and Guardian is the only class that has a way of being the best at everything. For raids/fractals, it provides top tier DPS, is easy to pull off, great survivability, and buffs others.

I recommend trying CPUID to see the temps during that time.

Thank you for taking the time to test. It is always great to have more data! Regarding option 1, if my theory is correct, this should be relatively easy to do. The only items that use the new flame effect which cause the issue is the Incarnate Flame and the Vermilion Wings. These two items cause huge performance issues when compared to all other options. Simply changing that flame effect to the old way of doing flames or the primeval effect could accomplish a similar (most wouldn't recognize the difference) look for the back piece. We already have other back pieces that use those effects without any performance issues. In my opinion, they should never use the new flames in their current state.

Does this address the wings that are causing the huge hit in performance across the glove. They use an un-optimized fire effect that is only used on the new wings and the Skycale which is reaching havoc on FPS. This is incredibly noticeable in group events. The new area is not the problem..it's all the new wings killing performance in it that is causing the issue. This could easily be resolved by changing the flame effect to the Primeval effect or old flame effect. Notes: Changed optimized to un-optimized

You will need to open your graphic panel and your equipment panel. In the equipment panel go back and forth. Watch your frames change. If you have a Mesmer user a clone and watch how each clone with the backpack lowers your frames further. Already 20 people on Reddit have tested and are complaining about the same thing. I have the beefiest computer in my controlled test of 8 people,. Friends willing to take the time to show the impact. I am incredibly sensitive to FPS changes, so I instantly pick up on it. For me personally, anything under 60 frames causes me to be sick. I constantly drop below that threshold now. Before this backpack 80 frames was my low. I have also tested on a fresh clean install. Our group tested using any other back piece in a secluded area and our frames all went up significantly. Our group all confirmed that one person using the wings lowered everyone's frame rate. I have a i9900K, 32GB Fast Ram, 2080 Super, and one of the fastest NVME drives you can find. Note: I spent $$$ for this... The performance impact is so bad I can't even use it on a high-end machine. I just tested saw pretty much no change, I am talking less than 5 fps of a change. Not nearly as bad as I have seen people saying it is for them. It might depend on your settings. I'm on a 1440P Ultra Wide. My 4K friend seem to have similar drop in performance per set of wings.

All outfits that are Black Line Chest exclusives will never be obtainable outside of the chests or in exchange for Black Lion Statues. This outfit has already been available multiple times in exchange for Black Lion Statues. This includes other outfits like Fallen Balthazar Outfit.

Fix the new unoptimized fire effect that has been used on two items that is causing huge performance issues for everyone. Even people who don't have the item. Either use the older flame effect or the primeval effect with the searing dye. Those have no performance hit unlike the new fire effect added to two items reaping havoc on all of our frames.

My friends and I did some thorough testing. I lose about 30 frames with Mesmer Clones.I lose about 5 frames for ever other player that uses the back piece. If I use a back pieces, it will significantly hurt all other players near me. Each additional player also lowers frames further. This is the only back piece that doe sit. They use the new effect (sames as the Skyscale that hurts frames). This should never be used.Primeval effect has 0 hit on performance and would give the same effectOlder flame effect has 0 hit on performance and would give a similar effect This item alone is ruining everyones experience.

My first thought was burning. Necromancers do not have any viable access to burning. Plaguelands is the only option I know of. It is a elite skill that comes with a huge DPS loss to use that would only allow burning for a fraction of the time.

I find that difficult to believe. Core guardian can outDPS power reaper in raid scenarios, but that's because the design of reaper is to be fairly self-sufficient in terms of boons, vulnerability application, crit chance, and so on. Which means it will often do better running solo, or in smaller-scale content like sPvP (currently, both power reaper and core carrion necro are considered to be meta while there are no guardian builds, core or otherwise, that are considered such, although there are still several guardian builds that do well enough - after all, a build being 'meta' usually means it's actually a bit OP), but doesn't benefit as much from team environments because it's already got the stuff that the team would normally supply, and has lower base damage to balance how much might, vulnerability, crit chance, and now quickness it can give itself. Guardian really shines in group content where, depending on build, it can either throw out a lot of boons or selfishly accept a lot of boons to boost its damage, but it isn't as good at getting high damage solo as necromancer and herald can. Depends on your priorities, really. Necromancer certainly needs a bit of help in high-end group PvE, but it's somewhat difficult to see how to do that without supercharging it in playing solo: vulnerability and selfishly applying boons to itself is in so much of its core kit. Maybe the answer is to enforce splits in competitive mode and just not care if necro ends up becoming the king of solo PvE. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I'm just going off of the raid sites and what I have seen. I usually use DH in raids. I just can not get into FB. As far as the delima I keep hearing... There seems to be two easy options that people want to ignore:1.) Above Crit Cap Gives Power (They will not have the buffs to take advantages of this outside of a group).2.) Give them a damage modifier when mobs have a corruption they can not apply themselves. It would be interesting if a Reaper got an additional boost if something was burning? I believe Guardian needs a nerf. They are one of the key components to allow you to bypass raid mechanics. I honestly believe Guardians do to much damage while provided important buffs. I think buff classes should do less damage than non-buff classes to be balanced.

If you buff the Warclaw to the point it is used in PVE, PVE players will be upset. I don't think the Warclaw should be usable in PVE in the first place, that would of eliminated this request.

The same weapon set I always ask for. Starlight Weapon set with trail effect.

Welcome to Guardian Wars. The only spec that is meta/competitive in everything game mode. The only thing it can't do is tank, but I'm sure that will be corrected in the expansion and it will be meta at that too.

These wings are causing huge performance issues for everyone. I have a super high-end PC. Wings alone cause 10-20 frame loss depending on what I am doing. Switching to any other back-piece increase my frames by 10-20 frames. I have used quite a bit of transmutations for this test. To compound the issue your use of wings hurt other players performance. I had my friend use the wings and switch back and forth with other back-pieces to measure the hit in performance. Even with Model Limit and Quality on low, you have the wing performance hit; however, you do not see their outfit. These wings are causing such a big issue, they have been banned from my main raid team. I just wanted you to be informed of the reason for the recent performance loss. The beautiful wings that I love and recommended are actually ruining the game. I hope they can fix it so I can use them without the huge loss in frame-rate.
