  1. Playing against Rangers that is running around with Jacaranda spamming roots is beyond infuriating. Getting out of the roots is a massive chore and with some weapons or builds its flat out impossible. Combine the root together with that you're getting focused and you're just in for 10+ minutes of anti-fun. I commonly play Renegade with a shortbow and half of the time that I get rooted I just can't target it or hit it. Either I can't shoot it or the game is telling me that my abilities that I very much have energy for and are off cooldown that they're not available for use. Roots in itself are perfectly fine and can be a great addition to the game. However roots such as Binding Roots need to be integrated in a way that they're actually fun and engaging to play against which is sadly not the case right now. For me the issues with the root is as follows: Lacking audio and visual cue, really hard to target, unclear what you can and can't hit it with. Personal recommendations: Either bugfix the root so you can actually target and kill it reliably without having the game send you warnings that you're spells aren't working while they're available or do a full out rework from the ground and make the ability actually fun to play against without having your players tilt into the wall.
  2. Everytime that I try to make an API key I just get a warning triangle at the top telling me that something is wrong but not telling me why or how to fix it. So at the moment I am currently stuck unable to use it. Tried ticking in different boxes but just getting the same result over and over.
  3. Ooh, I did not know that this was a thing. I'll look into it and see what I can do. Hopefully I'll manage to tune it how I want! A bit of a hassle but could be a temporary workaround.

  5. I'm the type of player that likes to listen to my own music of choice. However when I'm doing stories I would like to be able to toggle on the in-game music and listen to it instead. Currently with how my game is setup the cutscenes and speeches are very anticlimactic when its only the in-game sounds but no music. Having to open up the menu to slide the music volume around is quite tedious and immersion breaking while it also takes away my focus from the story. A keybind to be able to toggle volume off and on would be a fantastic QoL change. Edit: While we're discussing audio, a volume slider for cutscenes would be fantastic. Currently for me the audio for cutscenes are quite low and I have to turn up my windows audio to get it to a decent level. All the other volumes are perfect and at the level that I want but cutscenes themselves are very hard for me to hear clearly and I can't do anything about it.
  6. What do you mean FB is not a bunker build? The build is called "Mantra Bunker" https://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Firebrand_-_Mantra_Bunker It does not have to be the strongest bunker build out there to be classified as a bunker. Its definitely not as strong as a scrapper at holding points but it very much can, I do this every game I play as a FB.
  7. This is not what I meant. I'm okay with people surviving one shots and built to survive, but not to the extent that you feel like you're using your nails to break down a brick wall. Its straight up not fun. Many people are taking a break from PvP cause its just not fun to play right now. There's a heavy lack of diversity and some bunker builds are just not killable. I played quite a bit of FB and it was not uncommon for me to survive for 2-3 minutes against 2 people, sometimes I had 3 people chasing me for like 40 seconds before they were able to get me down. Its ridiculous.
  8. You're being surprisingly hostile. I never claimed that any of the classes are common or that this is a bunker meta. I do however feel like scrappers and weavers are quite common, I see them nearly every game. I don't believe you are reading the same text that I wrote judging by your reply, you might want to invest in some new glasses.
  9. Bunker builds are very dominant right now. If you're alone and you see one standing on a point there's next to no chance that you gonna be able to take it off him. Depending on the build that you're using you might be able to do it if you spend a ludicrous amount of time, but that is as far from efficient that you can get. I know that myself and others find bunker builds to be as anti-fun that you can get. Fighting them feels hopeless unless you're 3 people, 2 depending on builds. The amount of times I've seen people write in chat "Just leave the scrapper there" when people kept running and spending 2-3 minutes fighting him is starting to stack up. I really hope something is in the works for bunker builds, its killing the fun for both me and my buddy that I usually play PvP with. I really like this game and it sucks to see so many people getting riled up about builds that are next to immortal. Another note about bunker builds is the lack of skill expression. Even if the bunker player is worse then the other player, the bunker might win the fight just by being able to stand there for a century. This feels really bad for the player that is better then him, knowing that they can't do anything to kill the guy even though the bunker is performing worse feels hopeless. It's not fun in any shape of form. Any thoughts or something to add to the discussion? I'd like to know your thoughts about bunker builds or any tips on what I can do against them. I used to play as a condition sage but recently moved over to a power mirage that I found on Shorts channel. I usually focus on killing necros and rangers but sometimes I'm faced against a bunker and currently I find it easier to weep in a corner then to face them unless I have 2 others with me.
  10. I've had 2 escort events in a row now just randomly hit me with inactivity after finishing the last mob group before the event finishes. It feels really, really bad to be thrown out of rewards due to me "lacking participation" while I just killed the last mob before the event is done. Can this be tuned to be more forgiving? It nearly happened a 3rd time, I was standing right ontop of the escort npc and hitting everything that was getting in its way and all of a sudden I just get slapped with inactivity. If it wasn't for it being halfway done I wouldn't have been able to become "active" again. Note on the 3rd escort event I did, I was alone doing that event.
