  1. 😞 Ranger Marksmanship Clarion Bond: Lesser Call of the Wild no longer dazes targets.
  2. 1)Is this the big pre-expansion balance patch like we had before HOT and POF? If so, it is very disappointing. Last expansion we got a trait overall which is needed more than ever after the big PVE/PVP spilt that deleted many of the existing traits. 2)The thing that will effect ranger the most is probably not the specific ranger changes, but rather the changes to condis, resistance, and retaliation. Some things to look up for : -Resistance uptime is going to be increased, so builds that relies on immob for burst could be effected. -As far as I understand, poison debuff
  3. If I remember correctly, based on data mine during HOT development, druid had much more ambitious design vision, compared to what we got at the end.
  4. The headline of the post in the PvP forum is extremely misleading and not doing any justice to the current situation. Sure, the build posted by @"mistsim.2748" is extremely effective and fun, defiantly and a nice addition to the core ranger LB builds and the SB LB ranger builds. I don't believe it will replace either builds but Varity is always good. BTW, it was also effective last path, ppl just didn't bother with it(for mid-high level PvP). The main issue is that by taking away mender amulet druids which were already neglected, unpopular and mediocre, got a huge nerf. I will argue that
  5. I agree. It should work like that. They can even make it on daze only. It will be so much easier to apply the roots to several targets with CA 3+ CA 5. +1
  6. Yeah pass me your druid build bro. I've been trying out a few different ones. I've run mostly Mender's so far, with Ancient Seeds. It's ok, nothing crazy. Really wish I could run a hybrid support/condi with Sage amulet, but the healing coefficients are so abysmal that there's virtually no reason to ever stay in CA form. Need 1k healing power at least, and even then it's weaksauce. You can try something like this -http://gw2skills.net/editor/?POwEY6MssCmH7jFyOxy3ZtVWiHTD-zZhMEEHA Tips to druid support to overcome CA coefficients. Support in PVP via regen as they can't nerf regen as a way to ne
  7. Druid buffs looks significant, traited Glyph of Rejuvenation looks like an interesting option to experiment with.
  8. Staff 1 auto hits like a CC skill that was nerfed to .01 coefficient, except it doesn't actually have a CC tied into it. The Staff is actually so bad that it couldn't hurt to toss it a few pick me ups such as:Staff 1 - Turn the damage up a little bit.Staff 2 - Keep it the same but add a 2 stacks of 1s of burn vs. the enemy that is tagged with the skill.Staff 3 - Give it the kitten evade frame back.Staff 4 - Rather than removing immob from yourself with the vines, the vines should bleed/poison/torment/immob for 1s each.Staff 5 - This can stay the same. ^ Even with changes like that, Shortbow st
  9. That's the biggest issue for me as well. All the rest of the changes I could justify. They could at-least make it so that the pet's version for " attack of opportunity", is 25%(which is inline with the SB maul version , for attack of opportunity anyway), and leave the ranger's version from of attack of opportunity from the trait at 50%.
  10. The balance for ranger is surprisingly fine and good at least about the ranger. I think Sic'em would need the same treatement as Attack of Oportunity, but maybe with the nerf to tiger and gazelle it would be enogh. I like they increased the CD of Maul, i hope the buff the base damage back in the future. But why would I do that nonsense? Even if I went out of my way to record a few clips, it would make no difference because the default state of the ranger forums has always been "crying in a fetal position." It's always the same people too, for the last 6-7 years. I'll just keep enjoying my bui
  11. How nerfing all the GS CD skills and nerfing the only trait/mechanic that allows ranger/SB/Druid to inflict burst damage(attack of opportunity), is a core ranger only issue?Don't care about the Rock Gazelle.
  12. RangerMaul: Increased cooldown from 6 seconds to 8 seconds in PvP only.Swoop: Increased cooldown from 15 seconds to 18 seconds in PvP only.Counterattack: Increased cooldown from 25 seconds to 30 seconds in PvP only.Hilt Bash: Increased cooldown from 20 seconds to 25 seconds in PvP only.Attack of Opportunity: Reduced damage bonus from 50% to 25% in PvP and WvW.Furious Pounce (Tiger): Reduced power coefficient from 1.0 to 0.75 in PvP only.Kick (Rock Gazelle): Reduced power coefficient per strike from 0.31 to 0.2325 in PvP only.Charge (Rock Gazelle): Reduced power coefficient from 0.825 to 0.733
  13. I use "Glyph of Stars" on my support druid build for PvP. The skill got it uses and it is much better than most think. I do however think it should be changed because in my opinion, this elite takes the roll of what was supposed to be the spirit's if nature elite role. This is A.net telling us they don't want spirits to be viable for PVP and I cant accept that. Tips on how to use "Glyph of Stars" in PVP 1)This is a cheap 60 sec elite, don't save it for clutch moment that is very hard to pull off. 2)Think about it the same way you think when casting Entangle, hope for the best, expect the wo
  14. Sup im the ranger in question. yea rofl the build has a lot of immob eh. Im just playing this game for some causal fun so chill yea? You said you wanted to make a video about this via mail to me. Let me help you out i caught the whole thing on shadowplay. Side note yea this build is op, i made a lot of mistakes and i can get away with it lol. But why the siege throwing bm tho? And just to prove me right, you didn't even used Jacaranda. Cheers.
  15. Reducing Ranger damage modifiers is the most stupid thing you could do. ATM ranger is a strange place where the risk/reward ratio does not exist. The damage is mediocre for a glass cannnoy like build, but its tankiness is over the chart for that amount of damage. There is a reason why rangers shine in low-mid diamond tiers but almost does not exist in top tier game-play. The potential ceiling of class is extremely low while a bit over preforming in the mid zone of the risk-reward ratio. Problem is clear, "Wilderness Survival" as a defensive trait line + the new protect me is lowering the ri
