Absolutely disappointing.Too cluncky to use.Equipment and Traits are seperated.Too few slots, too high price for more slots. This is too much greed. I'm done with arenanet.Have fun milking your naive playerbase.

Increase squad message character limit from 250 to at least 2000. When I do raid training, it would be much simpler to type in squad message a summary of mechanics. Because what happen? After a couple of wipes players start to leave then you need to explain mechanic to the new comers and then another leave because it takes too long, or you dont bother explaining mechs to 1-2 new comers hopefully they can learn on-the-go...you see where this is going. Increasing character limit is good for 2 reasons:1) no need to explain everything from scratch to new comer.2) players can open squad message any time they want and refresh their memory about mechanics.

This is one of the biggest weakness of GW2. I find myself asking that question everyday. If someone cant put goals to achieve, s/he has little to do here. On topic, another reason why GW2 has no sense of exploration; PoI and such.I personally keep throwing an eye on mini map to search for PoI to complete the map. I think all of those PoI/Vista/hearts etc are hurting the map exploration just as much as mounts if not more.

Mounts and glide absolutely ruined exploration in gw2.No more thinking "how the hell do i get there?" Now it's just "lemme press X and fly on my skyscale." .These days I honestly come across places that I have no idea how to get there by foot. I just use my skyscale for everything. Remember ezploring exciting places with no mounts/glider? The thrill of risk like doing Hidden Garden JP...those were the days of whatever exploration gw2 had.

I started gw2 a month after release (2012), quit around 2014-15, then came back 5-6 months ago. Play more before you spend real money. Your enthusiasm might be because you're playing new game, especially after playing WoW for so long. Let the first gloss wear off. There was alot to catch up and it took me a couple of months to do so. You as new player should catch up soon enough. After all it's not WoW. I tried WoW a year ago. Really enjoyed the game but I felt that it was too late to play it now so I quit. No gear progression. Best gear is ascended/legendary but it's only few % better than exotic (which is easy to get). Exotic is more than enough for all content (fractals exluded ofc). This is Fashion Wars. (There is even a title called Fashion Collector after unlocking 1000 skins). You chase after shiny skins. Find a guild(s)! It will help you greatly. Set goals to achieve.e.g reaching fractal 100, starting raids, do all dungeons, wvw, pvp, chase titles etc etc.I find that if you dont set goals to yourself in gw2, you will drop the game faster than cartoon coyote falling off a cliff.

Maybe I'm just a filthy hoarder...I have a love-hate relationship with wardrobe. On one hand no doubt the usefulness of wardrobe. On the other hand, if I get something cool, I will keep it as the original trophy rather than just store it in wardrobe and delete it. I want to organize my bank/inventory, but right now the method is so primitive it takes hours to sort just my bank.

I have 140 inventory slots and almost all are full. My poor FB has 4 gear sets (different armor/trinkets/weapons/ascended) and it take up to 60 slots. And I'm not even talking about miscellaneous; all the asc mats (1stack below 250), collections, pots and many many more. I even bought 20 shared slots (which is huge QoL change, thanks Anet!). How do you handle cluttered inventory?

I agree skyscale should fly normally and not just scale the sky as her name suggest.You have no idea how disappointed I was when I learn that skyscale cant fly freely. My disappointment was beyond measure.And as you said, it wont break anything that mounts didnt break already. I cant imagine going back to pre-PoF and traveling tyria without mount. But I doubt Anet will do it. Best case scenario I see them doing is maybe adding special updraft for skyscale to boost you high to the sky where you can sort of fly (more like gliding slowly but you start at higher point).

Apparently Anet doesn't like cluttered UI, and try to keep simple as much as possible. Although I would prefer more options to have in UI like you mentioned. Assuming you are not being sarcastic, Adding so many slots will break the game completely.Anet gave us new skills but we are still stuck with mere 3 utilities.

But we got more skills in form of specs.I would rather have 1 extra utility slot before they add even more skills while we still have only 3 utility slots.

Shouldn't we get 4th utility by now? With all the specs and new skills we should have at least 1 more utility slot.I hate being restricted with what skills to use but I understand it in MMO. I know adding 4th utility slot might be a balance nightmare, but so does adding 18 specialization so its not really a nightmare balance and we are still stuck with a mere 3 utility slots?

This thread is about how hard it will be to get gw2 title like GWAMM, assuming there will be gw3. PSWhen a game X launch game X2 after several years, it is perfectly reasonable to assume there will be game X3 in the future. Personally, I would not want to see gw3, as it makes me feel like all my progress was for nothing. I would much rather see graphic update (not that gw2 graphic is bad) and more content in gw2 than having 3rd game.

Lets assume for a moment that gw3 will be a thing in the future.Almost everyone will move to gw3, turning gw2 into a ghost town.Now lets assume gw3 will have a title similar to God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals, that require you to have X titles from gw2 and Y Achievement Points. Do you think it will be possible for players that never played gw2 to get such title? Considering gw2 is heavly relied on group content and unlike gw1, doesnt have henchman.

I thought Arena Net didnt want to have dedicated roles such as tank/healer.Yet we see this clearly in raids and in fractals. In raids, almost every group will ask for chrono tank, chrono supp, druid healer, warrior banners. You only have 6 flex spots.In fractals, almost all groups ask for firebrigade. Only 3 flex spots. I remember years ago before GW2 launched, Arena Net spoke about how they want to step away from dedicated roles, meaning everyone can play whatever roles they want. Either my memory serves me wrong or Arena Net made dedicated roles.

Firebrand can provide all boons except for Alacrity.

Context:I came back after 5 years break and decided to start a new toon. Guardian support FB spec.Then I joined a guild and got into raids. Why Druid is so beloved and worship by everyone? Why everyone give Druid all the credit for healing and keeeping squad alive? I honestly dont understand that.As a FB healer/support I offer the group far more than druid can. This question why Druid is so revered while FB pushed back hit me even harder when I created a Druid. Druid is basically spirit slave.1) Unreliable spirits that can die and need to constantly move around the map.2) Unreliable healing. Staff 1? Make sure you're behind your teammates.Staff 2? Slow heal. IF it passes through allies.3) Staff 3? The only somewhat reliable healing druid has with staff. Unfortunately, this comes with a cost of displacement that can be lethal. For example: a) Sabetha, you need to kite to get flame pools. b) Samarog, I used staff 3 then Sama decide to use his knockback attack...sent me flying right onto spears...to die.c) Vale Guardian, staff 3 right into portal.Now you gonna say I need to be experience with Druid to avoid those staff and you probably right, but this doesnt change the fact that even Staff 3 is not the most reliable. 4) Avatar state: again, not reliable healing if you dont have it up. Even if you do, you'll have to be near your group. Skill 1 and 2 while spammable have short radius. Skill 3 and 4 are good but 5 root you in place, very dangerous. FB can offer far more than just unreliable pets and healing.Yet, people choose to praise Druid like he's the kitten messiah. In every raid I've been in the past 3-4 months, everyone were cheering for the druid at the end of raid while the poor offheal stand in the back in shadows. With all honesty I dont understand why Druid is so revered compared to other just as good if not better heal/support specs.IMO Druid is overrated while many other specs are underappreciated. /rant over

I went to WvW once with meme build.Core Guardian that focus on retaliation.It was funny to see them melt themselves.The only weakness of this build is condi dmg. And you're pretty much useless in zerg. But for roaming? It was really fun. That sneaky thief thinks he can 1 shot me? Yea keep running lil fella.
