  1. Put Aviator Cap back again, please! It has been 3 years since it's last appearance in the gem store.
  2. Holosmith, Dragonhunter, Daredevil and Weaver are the best ones for DPS.I struggled to change from p-reaper to weaver for the past few weeks, as p-reaper does an awesome dps with much higher sustain - but I am finally getting the grip of weaver.I am currently playing weaver and have out-dpsed many Holos, DHs and DDs with it on T4s, but I have also been on groups that the Holo or DH out-dpsed me when there were short fights, as their burst is much higher. With proper support, weaver is the best imo. But in the end, it all goes down to how good you are in the rotation. If a p-reaper is doing 12k dps while I am at 25k on weaver, he is messing up his rotation pretty bad.
  3. Did it yesterday with my power reaper on T4 (We bleed fire insta). Just use GS 5 to drag mobs to you, then cleave them all at once, use gas cloud whenever possible for projectile destruction - guardian had many projectile reflects as well as mesmer... ezpz.
  4. How viable is this Viper Mirage for pugging in Fractals?
  5. Instead of increasing difficulty, make a legendary badass boss that only a handful of people will be able to do it. Therefore, difficulty in scale is: Open WorldDungeonFractalsCM FractalsRaidsCM RaidsBadass Boss
  6. Flat increase of 20% to overall DPS of the profession, as a trade of for it's poor sustainability on full zerk, compared with Necro and Mesmer. Edit: make that 30%.
  7. What I don't get it is that, after pugging for months now, I haven't seen any weaver DPS output higher than me playing reaper. But when I played weaver I out dps some reapers that weren't doing a good rotation (even tho I did less DPS on weaver than I would on my reaper). Continuing talking about DPS builds only: Anyway, I have been playing weaver instead of my necro for the past week or so. Love and hate at the same time for the weaver - lots of fun, but lots of headaches (being shot down in a couple hits).
  8. You don't need exotic. Just do Tequatl The Sunless daily (everyday at 20:00 ET) - that's a good chunck of karma right there. Then you can buy exotic gear with the karma you gained. Or you can do Dungeons (there are always experienced people doing them) and get level 80 exotic armor from it. Both ways, no money spent. Tequatl: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tequatl_the_SunlessExotic Karma Gear: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Temple_armorDungeon armor: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dungeon_armor The main thing is, for new players, is the amount of content. It can be overwhelming to understand what to do, where to go, and how to get. Sometimes it seems impossible to achieve certain things. When I crafted my first ascended set, it was 3 years into the game, and it took me over a month to do so. Now, I managed to complete the last ascended one in under a week. It's all about knowing your stuff. Therefore, patience and study are necessary in order to pursuit your goals. Give it time to sink in, you will get there someday.
  9. Weaver only dunks hard on other power dps classes if you're in a group that's doing proper precast cheese with FGS, like on 100cm Skorvaald or Artsariiv... Then nothing will come close to weebo's in those fights. If not, there's not really a huge difference between the different power classes--DH is probably the top choice though due to their coordinated bursts being the highest and their assorted utility (esp f3). If you like reaper tho, stick with that... Honestly, unless yer in a speed run static, nobody really gives a kitten as long as yer power and know what yer doing. If anything you should gear a pBS or QB or Ren to be more useful in LFG... :bleep_bloop: Couldn't agree more. I do have Healbrand and Alacrigade geared for T4s as well. But I do like to see those big numbers lol
  10. What build are you using on your elementalist? I am great at soling with Power Reaper, full zerk with very good dps - but i still didn't get a grip of ele.
  11. Thank you all for sharing your opinions, personal experience and what not. This has been very helpful. I will probably stick with reaper a lil more then, I just finished Frostfang so it will be a good choice to show it off as well lol.
  12. Interesting idea, but I would prefer if they gave us Axe, so we could be a badass warlock:
  13. I am a T4 enthusiast and do them everyday. Been doing with Power Reaper since the major buff it received on last patch, and have always managed to keep the top DPS with pretty good sustain. I changed back to my weaver and my DPS meter is almost the same, unfortunately with MUCH more effort because of the rotation, and a LOT more squishy.Considering that currently both classes do not provide boons for the party and are merely DPS oriented, which one should I focus to play the meta? I am inclined to stay on power reaper due it's MUCH better sustainability. Appreciate any responses in advance!
