About Us [CAKE] is lead by a group of returned veterans who have been playing GW2 off and on since closed beta, and who have completed Guild Wars 1. The core leadership have known each other for 15+ years. We do all content, and are looking for more people to do end-game content (strikes and raids) and sPvP/WvW (tournaments and commander squads). Our events and schedules are posted on our discord. We are very helpful, respectful and friendly; LGBTQ+ and accessibility acceptance, we do not discriminate or judge and new players are encouraged to join us! We love answering questions and helping guildies with tasks, story missions, collections, or even builds and templates. We are looking for people who are interested in doing end-game content such as high-level fractals, challenge mode strikes, and raids. Our mission is to see that everyone in the guild can achieve their goals and to succeed as a community together. [CAKE] was founded and is ran by a group of returned veterans of Guild Wars 2 and Guild Wars 1. Most of us have been playing GW2 since closed beta and have completed Guild Wars 1 entirely (GWAMM and 50/50 Hall of Monuments). A lot of us have been playing on and off, and after coming back to the game we're looking to build a small community where we can hang out with folks and call them close friends. We do end-game content and sPvP/WvW daily, and we are in the process of scheduling blocks of time for raiding. Yes, you can solo everything, I did, and I did it with no issues. I haven't played the game since Vanilla when Karka was the last living story (I quit before season 2 and came back a few months ago). I even went through the game as my base Mesmer build until I had enough points to try chrono and mirage. I had exotic berserker gear with ascended accessories from vanilla fractals (when there were only like 4-5 fractals in rotation).

Maybe instead of a trap, we could get something like a dismounting net, like what WoW has.The net should probably have the equivalent of a longbow's range, instant cast, with a 30 second CD or longer and requires supply to use (2-5 supply per use?). Just ideas.

If they get dismounted into combat, they won't be able to mount up again right away. Which is the idea. A net would work better here instead of a trap I think, because we need an instant dismount for players that reaches a bit farther...
