  1. It had a build up for Reaper a few days ago. It is probably just getting updated which is stated on the site.
  2. Not really. For a raptor to be a perfectly realistic example of a dinossaur, it would need to have feathers. The fossil evidence is still out on that. Most paleontologists are divided on that issue. There are peer-reviewed journal research articles that come down on either side of that viewpoint. I suppose you haven’t seen the fossils for Yutyrannus, Microraptor, or Archeopteryx but that’s besides the point here. I simply do not accept or believe that false analogy "game balance" asthe be all and end all excuse for "anything goes and nothing is impossible"mentality for MMOs. You can't have your cake and eat it too. This game is not WoW and it won’t be like it when it comes to mounts. I don’t know what else to tell you.

It’s not so much about realism but about balance.
  4. I don’t think much of anyone is saying they want it immediately. Rather people were thrown off but how much there is to do to get this mount. Honestly, quite a few people were expecting this to be Roller Beetle 2.0 or Griffon 2.0 in terms of acquisition and I was one of those people. I think if Anet was more transparent on how to get this mount, it wouldn’t have been as bad as it is now (sure, they would’ve had their heads bitten off by disgruntled players) and people would’ve had time to prepare for the long haul that is the Skyscale. People whined (still do) about the gryffon.People whined about AuroraPeople whined about Requiem armor (justified, the nullification sigil was a big mistake)People whined about druid backpackPeople whined about astral and stellar weapons I can understand players want to get stuff fast. The new map offers the mount, you can rent it pretty much all over. And it honestly does make very little difference, if any at all. You can still move faster up ledges with the bunny. When it comes to whining, it’s just how some people are. That’s the most I can chalk it up to. Basically, you can’t please everyone. Springer makes it up ledges faster but Skyscale is all about precision landings it seems and a lot of people love dragons so there’s no doubt really that a dragon mount would draw a lot of people in, even if it’s a springer/griffon hybrid to put it most simply. Plus, people want to be in more maps with it rather than just one.

  6. Since I’m not sure how to add another poll option, how would you all feel if the requirement didn’t change but the drop rate was increased slightly on non-heart methods in the map like like nodes or certain events? (Not counting Istan or Dragonsfall since those two maps breathe currency in your face)
  7. To clear things up a bit, I didn’t make this poll just to demand a change, I solely made it to hear what people thought about it. For me personally, I can deal with grinding a day or more depending on the map. I’m close to finishing the first map I began with (Jahai Bluffs) and ran three characters through it. I’m buying a scroll for Thunderhead but being conservative with my volatile magic and doing Sandswept with just one character. I don’t have to worry about Kourna since it’s directly next to Jahai. As for Istan and Dragonsfall, I can do those with one character since those maps are generous enough with their currency. I can sympathize with both sides. One being the side that got the mount already and feel like they wasted time getting all those currencies. The other being those that can’t play for hours a day and get easily tired and burned out from the grind. If this doesn’t get changed, I’m still going to endure since I’m too stubborn to quit now since I just finished Raising Skyscales.
  8. I’m sure some of you are tired of hearing complaints on the Skyscale acquisition but this issue has been bothering me more than the timegates. Of course this issue is the map currency requirement for the final Skyscale achievement. Now, I’m sure that most of us don’t mind putting in work to get something in this game but a full stack is just too much even if some maps are easier than others. Even with multiple alts, this grind is just not fun and it leaves people feeling burned out. It’s essentially running around in circles for days to get what is essentially a non-legendary item/mount.
