People will probably be really apprehensive about the next mount anyway after this one, so I doubt we get another and if we do, the time between this one and the next will be a very long time

I finally unlocked my skyscale and you want to know what the worse thing about this collection is? The mount isn't even worth it imo. I have mine fully upgraded and it is kinda cool don't get me wrong, the best part is the fire breathing dismount but otherwise I don't really use it and I feel almost guilty even bringing the darn thing out knowing how many people are struggling with the awful saddle collection. I wish the mount did something awesome that forced me to use it above all others like the skimmer when traveling over water or the jackal with the portals. My griff baby is still the superior flier. It's just disappointing especially with all the work that went into it.

Can you get the currency harvest points in kourna and Jahai etc. multiple times on different alts or do those only appear once per day per account b/c I have multiple 80's and tried today but the harvest points only seemed to appear for 1 of my characters.

Honestly, the entire collection was fine in practice, it was just the time gates that made it terrible but now those have been reduced. I was able to get all the treats pretty quickly(no more than 10 kills for each one) The only issue I had with the collection is the map currency requirement for the saddle. Just the 250 req not the gold or anything just reduce the currency by half to 125 or hell even 150 but an entire stack makes getting the saddle depressing when you weigh the time involved compared to the abilities you get in the mount, I know so many people who have stopped at the saddle step.

This is true...it's also true that I prefer the chair to the actual mount. If I had it to do over again I would not have spent the resources on the mount and just purchased the chair and waited on the mount itself. I just feel like something is off with the skyscale ability wise but this isn't the place for that as there are a few threads having that discussion.

I tend to agree with this, for what you have to do to acquire it, there are too many negatives that are resolved by swapping to a griffon or springer. Those negatives are what brought me to the conclusion that the skyscale, right now, just isn't worth it. Most people, if they stopped, stopped at the saddle collection. Now, maybe if we get some awesome new skins in the future people will push for it again but the aggravation is outweighing the benefits for right now. Also for the "speed isn't that important" thing I dive with griff all the time, maybe it's b/c I'm a newer player but speed is important to me especially b/c I have lower lvl alts and like to do events and getting there quickly is the difference between gold contribution or missing the event entirely.

Why? Even with full masteries it's movement is slower, what attributes of the skyscale would make me not want to use my griff anymore?

They need to do something about this mount, when I got to the saddle, that was it for me. I mean, a full stack for each map is totally ridiculous for what we get capability wise for the mount, I almost wish the griff and the skyscale's had swapped functionality with the griff being more like a helicopter with wall cling and glide and the skyscale being the jet engine. I've played this game for a little over a year, I LOVE the fact that you can work towards anything you want and it usually has the desired payoff but after doing the full collection and unlocking the last day, everything about the last collection is depressing, seeing what you need for the saddle is depressing, the rate at which you get them is depressing, and what the skyscale can actually do is depressing. I was burned out, even though I had all the currency needed for two of the pieces and some currency in bank for the others. I've praised this game to my friends over the last year and the rest of the collection was really fun even though it was a bit tedious and locked you out if you missed the reset but the saddle collection, specifically, almost made me quit the game altogether. It was only when I admitted to myself that this mount was worse than the griffon and didn't add anything meaningful to travel that we didn't already have with the other mounts, that I started enjoying playing again.

My best advice for this is to pan the camera directly above yourself so that you can only see your character and the ground. The ball always lands in a relative area so if you zoom out sufficiently you can see that entire area, use the right button so you can quick turn as you run fastest moving forward as opposed to backwards or side to side. (I recommend an actual mouse as it's near impossible to do on a laptop mouse pad)
