  1. We're still looking for serious new players who don't mind that we've just started out and are now trying to fill our guild roster πŸ™‚
  2. Purr! Kittens Incorporated was founded a few years ago, but my husband and I mainly used it for our own personal guild, we didn't really have any other members and we were okay with that considering we spent 99% of our time in World of Warcraft anyway (we have played GW2 since launch though - on and off), but that changed a while ago. We got a little bit tired of World of Warcraft and felt the urge to return to Tyria. We tried to recruit some of our World of Warcraft friends/guildies (we're guildmasters of a guild called Kittens Incorporated there too!) to the game, but most of them didn't really enjoy the game, or wanted to focus on WoW ultimately. We really enjoy our time in Guild Wars 2 though and would really like more people to play with. πŸ™‚ Some things about ourselves and what we can offer: * Our real names are Jos & Ingmar; we're in our 30's and from the Netherlands. * Our aim for the guild: a small-ish (our aim is to have like 10-20 active members) social guild filled with people who are interested in more than just the game. We're looking for people who like to be social, who like to talk on discord, so you can get to know the person behind the character aswell. Like a little online safe haven after a long work day. * We have a discord server which we also use for our WoW community, but it's split into a GW2 and a WoW section so you don't get spammed with WoW messages if you just play GW2. It gives people the freedom to also join our WoW community though in case recruits also enjoy WoW. πŸ™‚ * We're interested in: Fractals, WvW, sPvP, open world content, doing story content, etc. We'd also be interested in doing raids, but obviously we'd need quite a few extra members to make that happen. It's a long term goal though. * No obligations....you play what you want to play. Our gamestyle is pretty casual and we just want to have fun. Only able to play once a week? Not an issue. Playing every day? Also fine! Just be yourself and you'll fit right in. The only obligation you have: be respectful to other guildies and we don't tolerate elitism or toxic behavior (but I think that's pretty universal xD). * Because the guild is fairly new our guild hall is only level 15, but we're actively upgrading it, step by step. * We're on an EU server: Piken Square * Obviously we love cats. But we're not a cult, we promise. Really. Really. πŸ™‚ Soooo yeah, do you want to be part of a new guild from the beginning? This is your chance! Anyone is welcome really, so don't hesitate to send us a message if you're interested or if you have any questions! Alwayshappy .2549 Arcanum .6730
  3. Issue still persists (husband of Arcanum); we can't do a single story instance together; due to disconnects.
  4. Hey, This may be a weird question, but it's been bothering me quite a bit. My husband and I are both experiencing this issue. We haven't played the game for over a year, but we got new computers (everything works fine other than this glitch) so we decided to start up again a few days ago. The issue: the colors of my backpack are not rendered right or something. It's blue, but at random times (when I mount, or just after some time) the color switches to red or a brownish tint. It only fixes itself when I relog. The weird thing: on my husband screen it often stays blue; but not always. Sometimes it turns red on his, while it's still blue on mine. My husband wears Frostfang and he has the same issue with it. It changes to black when he zooms out a bit; while still being the regular color on my screen. So far we mainly noticed it in Drizzlewood Coast, but I believe I've seen it somewhere else aswell, not sure. It happens on multiple characters. All drivers are up to date. GTX 3070 videocard.
  5. Yes, this. I would also like the Starborn outfit, as well as the Celestial Axe skin.
  6. The tools are already there. The counters are there. People just don't want to hear that; it's easier to whine for nerfs. Not a popular opinion, but still.
  7. I'd rather say that PvP is plagued by players who don't know how to improve their own game. They prefer to whine about any class they lose against. If I have to believe the PvP forums every class in the game deserves a big fat nerf. I get it; it's easy to place the blame on anyone/anything but yourself. Easier than looking in the mirror. To try and improve yourself. Find counters to the problems you face. Accept that there are better players out there. Accept that there are hard counters out there. The game, and PvP itself, would be way less toxic if people would step up.
  8. Nerf fireweaver damage, dont touch other weaver/ele in general builds. Takes much to kill him? Yes, but also you arent dying, are you? Its either full sustain (Mender) or full damage (FA), fireweaver is the only build that has kinda both Lots of classes have both damage and sustain, Why can't ele have both? rather than being the only class which can have either decent damage and no sustain or no damage and loads of sustain. Yeah others do have both at same time but how much of each at same time matters Personally and this is my opinion, every class should have at least a little bit of sustain. I am talking about a little, not a ridiculous amount where you can survive forever but not having no sustain where if you encounter any class that has a ton of sustain and mobility that they can just blow you up without any way to survive, as that is not fun. Also, how would you solve the problem that ELE sustain is built-in?They got access to heal and defensives and they really need it because they are squishy The sustain to damage ratio(burning burst) is out of whack on ele. There's a good reason they have increased their presence 10 fold in pvp and wvw lol we can all guess why. They've always been fun so it's not that the damage ratio is only whack if you don't know how to play against one its a shame you can no longer just melee it since it can fight back now, try not going full melee onto it and you will have an easier time, as for WvW, I haven't noticed a big increase in eles, perhaps its the matchup i am in now, but its more or less been the same as it has been ever since PoF came out, Lol yeah that's it. L2p is the fall back response usually followed by a written scenario of how to easily counter the said class lol. A class that can continually apply high stacks of burning far faster and for a longer duration than even a class built to have a lot cleanses all while being able to stall another player long enough thru continual healing and barriers to the point the give up and move on is a problem. A good ele can do just that due to how effective their burns are, they dont have to build for full dps to burst hard allowing them to focus a bit on sustain and with ele's tools that goes along way.U can defend it all u want as after these changes if it's not toned down it wont be long before the community shines its spotlight on it when people are sick of multiple ele's each mach burning teams down while being hard to drop.I'd bet on it so have fun :) I'm all for nerfs, so long as they are fair and with anet's track record on Ele, then it'll be fun to see weaver have a glimpse of being good at something until its thrown back down the barrel for the next 2 years. But it shouldn't have to be op or useless, I think that's the hope with the new team no?Slight shave on ele's burn bursts arnt going to kill the class as they definitely have the ability right now to stay in a fight. Even if fire weavers etc kept most their condi pressure I'd be fine as long as they were actually high damage low sustain but right now if someone's really good on ele the burst to sustain is a bit high. I definitely do not want ele gutted or any class for that matter as I kno every class has alot of fellow players that enjoy it. To be fair, the bolded part can be said about every class out there. A good thief will seem more OP than a thief in bronze...playing the exact same build. Same for Firebrands. Same for Mirages. Same for Holosmiths, etc. I have no issues dealing with 90% of the weavers out there. The other 10%? Yeah, I lose against them, because they are skilled weavers. Or just more skilled than me anyway. Up to plat it's a gamble what you get imo. When I see a Firebrand or Holo on the other side it doesn't automatically mean I lose, because those builds are OP. The people behind it may be skilled; more skilled than me, but that doesn't make the build OP. It just means I have to learn more. How to play against players who are more skilled than I am. PVP would look a lot different if people would just try to improve themselves, not tilt, etc. Most people just assume that if they see a Firebrand (or Weaver in your case) it's an instant loss. Happens so often in games. There's a big difference between skilled players and OP builds. That's just not something some people would like to hear. I get ur point. Guess we'll see how they and others are doing after the changes. Worrying about balance in this game is to exhausting for how much I play it these days lol so I'm kinda impartial to anything these days, least the balance patch will be a change up, doesn't really matter to me what kind.To be fair; I don't even read the balance notes. They don't really matter to me. I may change some traits at times, but only when I feel like it; I don't let nerfs guide my playstyle or class, I just play what I enjoy and what I'm good at. They could nerf a holo, but nerf or not; I'll lose against that certain holo if he/she has more skill with the class than I do with the class I'm playing at that time. Again, I'm not saying nerfs are always unnecessary, but I just try to ignore thoughts like ''that build/class is OP'' because it will get in my head. I don't want to have the thought of ''omg, I'm going to lose this match, or this 1vs1 at close, because they have a holo''. When I lose a 1vs1 I often give the other party a compliment for playing their class quite well. Thank them for the nice duel. For me that's just more rewarding than to run to the forums every time I lose a 1vs1....to make posts about nerfs (not saying you do! - just in general). I just accept my own failure and accept I have more to learn. Or that I just didn't play the right counters. I do think PVP would be more enjoyable for a lot more people if more users would think that way. It's not a perfect way, but better than to focus on nerfs that much.

Yes, nerfs are necessary sometimes, but it's not as big a problem as some people make it out to be sometimes. And imo weavers don't deserve nerfs at all atm. You just have to know how to play against them. Also; accept that your build can't win against everything. There are counters everywhere. Just because a weaver wins from you...doesn't mean they can't be beaten easily by other classes.
  10. Must be thief main..you can contribute to the discussion ( or end it) by telling us the counterplay to the build in question and it's not simply deadeye...it's shadow art deadeye, go on then explain us Nop, I'm actually quite bad at playing a thief, I'm more interested in my weaver. It's just tiresome to open the pvp section; only to be welcomed by several ''NERF TO THE GROUND'' (not literally, but it's often the conclusion) threads. I'm sure that there are several builds out there...slightly stronger than some others (or just easier to play with). That said; skill matters. It's one thing to open a ''nerf thread'' because the build in question is in fact that much stronger than the rest, but the thing is....most people open threads like this just because they've lost against that specific build. Maybe being farmed by it.
  11. It's the thing that bothers me the most in pvp. Well, ''bother'' is a big word. Let me begin with: I do understand that it's frustrating if your teammates don't meet your standards. Especially if it keeps happening. But at some point you have to realise you're part of the problem aswell. You don't lose several games in a row, just because you're unlucky enough to be matched with ''noobs''. Even if your teammates mess up...it isn't that hard to talk to them in a friendly way; give them tips in a friendly way. Are they not responding, or do they start flaming at you? Just ignore them. At least you tried. Flaming in PVP just destroys the game for A LOT of people. Not because people can't handle criticism (which several people on this page seem to suggest), but because they prefer to flame....instead of just talking to a person. It's also common knowledge that the biggest flamers out there (for example the people who just go afk after losing ONE lost battle at mid, etc) are the people who need to learn the most. True professional players know how to carry their team if he/she is really that much better than his/her teammates. I don't know how many times I've seen it happen....someone in my team flaming and flaming....only to see him/her dying in every 1vs1...often dying at unnecessary times. But ofcourse it's not his/her fault. It's easier to blame teammates and THAT is frustrating as hell. It's also sad if an opponent feels the need to dance on your corpse, or to spam ''ezz'' after every kill. It's just childish. Especially since it's often said by the player who got carried the most. I love PVP and I love to learn, but yeah, I agree, PVP is just one big flamefest these days.
  12. Nerfing ele's is the worst thing they could do. Sure, there are great weavers out there, but it's not an easy build to get the hang of. Unlike some other classes. Just because some pro's are good with a class...doesn't mean the class is OP
  13. There’s more than just Scourge. Plus...there are still skilled Scourges out there who have no issues winning 1vs2/3 in pvp, so it’s still possible :)
  14. Having the same issue, already made a ticket. My husband is having the same issue.
  15. Not a fan of RNG either. I'd prefer to spend like 500-800 for a skin that I'm interested in (like gliders...), instead of 400 gems for a random one.
  16. This is Galadriel Grey! Other weapons are Bolt + Keepsake Axe & Juggernaut.
  17. Meet my warrior! Other weapon set: inci + flameseeker
  18. Gorgeous mesmers all around! Here's mine, meet Lorelaii!
  19. Meet ''Alwayshappy'', my cute Asura Elementalist, it's my main character. The only thing that's missing is a nice wintersday presence aura, but yeah, don't have it yet. Love the look of Bolt and the Minstrel on this char.
