  1. There are many parts of the legendary crafting process I do not like yet do because I understand the value they bring to the game. The gift of battle is no different. It brings value to the game by pushing people toward the content types it provides. I want the legendary, so I do the content. Simple as that.
  2. 14% nerf to invigorating precision is spicy. That’s a big hit to Open World thief builds that aren’t Specter.
  3. I am personally waiting to do the HoT collections until EOD strike updates when MCs should be much easier to farm. I am also waiting until EOD to round out ascended weapons as I am guessing the new e-spec weapon collections to be much more like PoF and overall easier than HoT. Would be nice if the HoT collections saw an overhaul, but I am not holding my breath for it.

  5. I've always said reaper won't have a place in the game mode until Holo is brought down to a reasonable level. Holo is just so strong. Can do everything reaper can and more. Core Condi Necro (see Gods Of PvP or metabattle) is pretty fun but at g3-plat range it's going to take a ton of practice and knowledge of kiting. Enemies will focus you and you will be helpless and of little use the to the team until you figure out how to kite
  6. Terrormancer and fire weaver are not nearly as oppressive as condi mirage and condi thief as they can be basically killed within a single stun or with a little extra pressure from enemy team. Also, fire weaver and terromancers have to be aggressive and engage in the fight to do condi damage. The problem with condi thief and mirage is the ability to dump out condis while evading or being invulnerable (mirage) to attacks completely. They get to play defensively and dump out tons of condis. Do you see the issue now?
  7. Necro needs to be made more valuable in Endgame PVE, for sure. The changes to Scourge make it clunky. I am hoping the changes to Scourge are the first steps toward an overhaul. A sad change for PVE and PVP but hopefully it allows them to make Scourge something other than a better version of core Necro. Reaper is great in open world and in a pretty okay spot for PVP, but Holosmith is simply better in PVP and while Holo can team fight, 1v1 and side node with great success Reaper will not have a role. The core weapons need to be revised, too (outside of staff). They are boring and the changes made to warhorn and focus didn't do much to improve this
  8. Not going to comment on the monetisation as other have better input than I do. Though, I do have to say that the UI for Build Templates looks great. I love that the chat codes in game can be moused over to get a quick view of the build! Fantastic ideas by the team on the design of the UI and the functionality available.
  9. I'm fine with the low mobility. Reaper hits like a truck. As for acquiring more mobility, I am currently testing a build that uses Fireworks runes in WVW. It's fun to watch people try to run away from me with my 25% movement speed + swiftness.
