Hello,
I'd like to ask for cheaper microtransactions.
We all know the cash shop is what drives the development and maintenance of the game since there's no subscription plan.
I've spent 100s of $ on dota 2 shop for cheap (less than a few cents) hats. Bought the battlepass for TI (this year is just bad but that's a different story) many many times, to support the prize pool and to support a game I loved.
GW2 is the only mmo I've sincerly enjoyed and didn't feel like I'm being scammed from my life.
I'd like to support the shop, but the price tag on gems is just too high for general populace, I believe by cutting the prices on gems and cosmetics you might actually earn more cash.
Maybe it is just anegdotal story, but I'm quite well off where I live, I work as MLOps / Python Dev, earn more than 90% of populace and it's not like I dont have free cash to spent on stupid hats. It's just that I can't, I just can't when for 25 euro/$ you get less than one skin, what's up with that? Who's buying this, 1% of playerbase? Cause I may not be really rich, but I'm not exactly poor either...
I partly understand the current situation is dictated by the fact that you can exchange gold for gems, but that just leads people to buy gold online from shady sources.
