  1. Had this problem for last few days, found an easy solution. Turning VPN on allowed me to download the update, after that I can now play without VPN.

  3. I am just a rando with less than 25 post on forums. Of course anet does not call me and look up my post to update their game. Not even MightyTeapot or WoodenPotato has this luxury. WoodenPotato complained around 8-9 years in his videos about LWS1 integration to story. And also Isn't it the purpose of forums to share your ideas and see what people think about it when you don't have big YouTube channel ? Isn't the purpose of forums to make discussions with other players who are not part of your guild or Region. Or is it the purpose is to go trough someone else profile and find a way to insult them , if so then I might point you out to QoL Ideas Topic with about 9K+ post. I am unsure where the hostility is coming from, maybe you don't like my ideas, you can just ignore rather than insulting 😄
  4. I think I forgot to write this in my post which would have been more clarifying. The thing is they don't have to go back to old stuff to fix underwater combat. They can introduce it with the weapon patches or better get a expansion themed at underwater. And all the fixes that required in it can be just byproduct. Win Win for everyone as anet can work in it as a part of expansion. Maybe I am one of those minority, however if they reintroduce its and fix it don't you think majority will love it ? People hate underwater combat due to the fact that there are very few viable builds, the weapons' don't match play style or build style etc. If they reintroduce it and fix things I am sure more people will like it if there is more underwater content not to mention it will be a breath of fresh water 😄
  5. Hello there, I was really disappointed when there was no underwater combat in EoD while fighting the water dragon. However recent updates gave me hope that anet is fixing old content such for example the dungeons and their entrance. Also they gave me hope when they added underwater wepons and breather in the new WvW exotic stat selectable items. IDK why they abandoned it , maybe remove from PvP sure but why PvE ? Gradually they stopped releasing underwater weapon skins for black lion sets and after HoT they stopped releasing Breathers. Underwater combat is one of the thing that attracted me to gw2 in the first place and it can be made great with very simple and small updates. Only three simple fixes will be enough to bring underwater back from dead and will give anet the ablity to create strike / fractal or other type of underwater content in the future. However of these three, the first one is most important. 1. There are 3 kinds of underwater weapons (Trident, Spear, Harpoon). Let every class have access to them just like the new weapons that are coming to each class. Also make these 3 weapon cratering to different builds such as one for power dps one for condi dps and another support oriented. Also some existing weapons needs to be retuned aswell. What do I mean ? For example , the Warrior has access to spear with is power oriented and resembles greatsword , also has acess to harpoon which is condi oriented all anet has to do add trident to warrior and mimic the skills from warhorn and make it support oriented. Another example the guardian has spear which is like the greatsword power oriented and aslo have trident which is like the staff and is support oriented, now anet can add harpoon gun for guardian which is condi oriented. Doing this will help and and all the viable builds and playstyle go underwater and do underwater content. 2. Add craftable breather recipes to the fractal merchant for post HoT recipes. So if you have an ascended breather you can stat swap it to any Core or HoT recipes because those item exists trough crafting or item codes. However Post HoT recopies such as (Diviner's, Harrier's, Ritualist's etc) cant be stat swapped into because their recipe or item code does not exist so the mystic forge cant make items out of thin air that does not exist in the game. The Svaard's (Marauder) breathers from HoT dont have recipe but they can be stat swapped because their item codes exist. They can add the post HoT breathers like this aswell. I am aware you can buy stat selectable ones from Bitterfrost and Lion's Arch but even if you get them if you want to swap them later you are stuck. 3. Start releasing underwater wepon skins for black lion skins sets. Maybe too late for all the sets released before but starting from now is not too late 😄

Hear me out, I was really glad and supportive of the way they rolled out GEN2 during and after HOT , as I had many friends who came into to game swiped their card and got Twilight / Eternity etc. It was a great incentive to force player buy HOT and participate on meats to collect currency. But that was almost eight years ago and some feared that it would crash the existing GEN1 market which it did not if you look at it after GEN3 release. Also, with current power creep and mounts its not hard to farm gifts fast and buy rest of the items from TP anyway if someone wants to swipe their card. Also, you can now craft multiple GEN2 now. The benefits of GEN2 being non account bound : 1. A cheap entry level Legendries for new players if not that then more options for people cant hurt. 2. Those who wants to add these in their alt without farming. 3. More credit card swipes for GEM to gold which is good for ANET 4. More Legendary on TP meaning 15% cut is a huge gold sink not to mention all legendary items related mats T6 mats and Amalgamated Gemstone etc. 5. People who already crafted a legendary trough collection may want to buy the second one easily because how the legendary armory works now or for "Twice-Told Legend" or if a willbender wants to equip 2 "The Shining Blade" sword. 6. People who are still faithfully doing POF and HOT meats and bounties have something to burn their wallet currency (Elegy Mosaic is a good example) and and gifts of explorations and feel rewarded for playing the game, not only that this may even encourage more interactions on POF maps which are sad to say DEAD . There may be more benefits but I could only come up with these for now, lets discuss below if you think its good for the game now and also, you can point out more benefits or if you are against it and why ?

Please do not make ascended irrelevant after getting legendary, it still feels great when I get ascended drop from raid , events, fractals and also buying them from raid and strike vendors, gearing a new character from scratch is fun and part of gameplay. After brainstorming for an hour finding about this I could find one solution to have it both way (That you have to have a ascended in your new character to use it) for example I have twilight in armory now I can turn any ascended great sword in my inventory into twilight, as stats of ascended and legendary is same and this way ascended will still be relevant. But that's just my take I am sure you guys will find better way to implement them.
  8. Yeah I was thinking they would do that as well, but I am being a fool. I do not know if the dev team keeps changing or not. One thing I am certain of Anet do not ever read any forum posts. You are more likely to get their attention on reddit or in some stream rather than official forums. The fractal update was similar, looks like those who design or develop this game never logs in to the game.
  9. The bad effect we are not realizing yet is in few months when the new players starting cms now will not be able to show the kps will be face the toxicity and challenges to join a group. Again I will be politely telling people to leave if they join my group and do not have 100+kp. If they did auto forced conversion of kp then we could have understand, and then people will just bring infusions as kp or maybe Li from raids or so on. As people will not just magically stop using some kind of kp and just go on the first group they find on LFG. I wonder if the people who made this design choice ever played this game trough LFG, just come inside the game and go to LFG after your cool intervention and see the for at least 10 min in Prime EU play time. Only 5 days have gone, All cm lfgs are like this X amount of KP + Either DoD or DwD title. (even for old cms + t4 ). Ty for the read.

  11. About 3-4 Month ago I started doing CMs & Raid. I hated the idea about KP, begged into many groups sometimes was successful and sometime not. Trained at bosses like Sabetha countless hours and clearing old 100cm sometimes took more than a hour jumping between groups and finding new players after 2-3 tries when people left. Now after all that time spent in training and hardship I want some smooth run, I do not require power run but a smooth run. So despite having ~200kp I used to join 50+ kp groups and even made hfb to join groups faster. Now I can easily still create old kp 150+ group but I fear for the new players who ware at the same boat as me 4 months ago. Some of them may think its for their own good and they can prove themselves, you have no idea how wrong you are. Just today after 1 day of new fractal release most of the groups ware asking for 250KP+ the new cm titles. I was fortunate to do with friends. However I can no do fractal with friends every day as I do it when I find time and I can assume many are in my boat. So these new players will have trouble and face more toxicity than before. I really do not know why anet does things like this , sometimes I feel they are very far away from their community. KP problem is more in raids as they drop both boss specific item and LI and In raid anyone can join with any kind of gear. I have ~100Li, I have completed envoy II and I still have trouble joining 80% raids in LFG. So these new players wont be able to gather these kp and go for smoother runs on the future. This just destroys pug gaming. Solutions From Anet :1.Both Side Conversion like for now 1 Unstable = 5 fractal, there can be a reverse one added for like 50 fractal = 1 Unstable (which not only ensure people can stack up kp, but also can feed the cat, and sell their extra essence for gold after they get all their collection items)2.There is an achievement called "Abyssal Fractal master" for collecting weapons. Make it give few tier based title which can work as kill proof3.Drop unique guild decoration from new 100CM boss Community Solutions :1.Buy Abyssal weapon skins with new wallet currency, transmute cheap weapons that you can buy from cities and ping them as KP2.Keep using old kp, do not sell them and if you are new try to form a static group3.Use api based sties (which is a real hassle) Again I know there are hacks and scripts to ping those but very few people uses them, and they can be easily spotted after the first Old 100 CM boss fight, and again I repeat those who are still new think its good for you trust me its not, you are just 2-3 month away from sharing my opinion.   12. @everyoneWith the release of Ice brood Saga episode No Quarter we have a new place able item called United Legions Waystation and with mastery it gives you emp which is a decent cc. Recently I saw a lot of commanders putting waystation near the feet of the boss where the auto attackers stand and with the emp easily got "no fly zone" and "Smash that dragon." I even saw people cc the death branded yesterday. Get the achi while you can before anet changes how emp / waystation works. You never know. GL HF
  13. Hello sir , I jump started the topic because I was looking for an option to unequip the novelty bar like like outfit. For outfits you have not only the option to hide but unequip them totally. It was just a suggestion in a random 2 year old post which anet will never see. I am not posting anything like "ANET SHOULD DO THIS". A lot of people have different kids of ocd and the point I am making is that people can give suggestion to smaller changes to UI which adds upon the things already there. And if people want to play with mouse click its their preference (and seems like you guys are bothered more about that and do not know what sarcasm is) Anyways as I said google led me to this post, I joined the forums a year ago and I rarely post as there will be people like him who will teach you about hotkeys ;)

  15. Sensei Google led me to this post, also its annoying and looking for a workaround for months now. I have an idea which is simple and very easier to implement for anet > just add a unequip option in in the novelty selection page.When you equip an outfit you can also right click and unequip it same thing can be implemented so even if you press the button nothing will happen its like when you make a fresh new character and that button does not work till you add a novelty.
  16. yeah they are not sure If I got the item legitimately or not and they also made me a offer that if I can do a successful trade in gw2echange they will take me back in to their trading group. The thing is, I only joined because I wanted to trade the egg not to trade stack of ectos like they do xD But as I have said they ware respectful and polite with their answers and Its their group they can choose who can trade there or not. They have no reason to trust me and typically they do not want a scandal related to their group I assume. Also I am in support for the trading post As it drains gold from the economy and I have seen many games where gold becomes irrelevant like Diablo 3 or By now cost of gems would be like 2k gold for 2k gems and would be unfair to fresh players. So here I am asking to ANET to lift the limit.   17. In case if you had not noticed I said I wont sell it anymore, but wanted that cap increase players who get it and do not want to sell it in black market can sell it easily and reliably. Black market will remain a increase cap or not, lot of legendaries are being traded there but at 90% or 80% of the tp price but for chak egg you allmost get 50% in tp and that is unfair to people won a lottery and people with buy order with good rep in those community are making 10k profit so yeah do the math.
  18. Hello,About 10 Days ago I got the Chak Egg Infusion dropped for me in Tangled Depth Meta. Saw 10k at TP wanted to sell it but did not have that 500 gold fee to sell it instantly and waited. I really needed the gold the as shiny effect on one toon was not important for me compared to character slots and other account upgrades and sale was already here. Then a friend of mine told me its worth like 20K gold and trade other thing for it. So my quest to trade began acknowledging the TOS of GW2 ofc. First stop Reddit, gw2Exchange - Saw many post about chak egg there and posted a similar post but It was not getting approved for a few days. Thought something wrong with my post so deleted it and re-posted. While in game someone approached me (with a lvl 2 thief 8kAP - that did not give me much confidence) at first whisper I told him you go first and he agreed and later he was making excuses and later says lets do middleman. Due to suspicion I declined and was happy thinking my post was approved but only to find its still awaiting approval. So my deduction skills told me one of the moderators was trying to make a deal with me, or maybe not I really do not know how Reddit posting works. After a week I was asking around Tangled Depth during meta and one guy give me this link to this discord trading group / Guild called "Overflow". Joined there in discord. They ware welcoming, read their rules posted. Got a buyer he was going to bring a middle man from Reddit. Everything was going well until 3-4 hours later my post is no more and the buyer said he does not want to trade. One of the admin of that group pm me to give him API key so I can prove I have the item. After I provide him with API he apologized for the inconvenience and asked me if I had screenshot of the drop. In which I replied I did not knew about that item till i was salvaging stuff after the chain meta run and did not knew about its actual price. So I asked permission to post again and the admin gave me a go ahead. Posted and 2 min later I am banned from the discord without any explanation or warning. Later I added that admin and asked him about it,he replied as I cant verify the item dropped for me they do not want to take any chances and do not want me trading in their group. So I totally respect both of the group as they do not want their members trade with a person who has no "REP" according to them and its their group they can enforce their rules. So I have nothing to complain about these groups and frankly I am not going to look for these groups and if this is as rare as they say that people need to link their drop then I will just keep it. The point I want to make here is to ANET is that a lot of people like me who does not want to sell ectos for 90% of tp in these groups and therefore not reputed enough. We use the tp with and pay out 15% which balances the economy by pulling gold out of it. As It is a RNG drop any person can get it , he might be a streamer or reputed trader or a nobody like me. SO PLEASE ITS 2020, 8 Years have passes since the game reslesed and people have much more liquid gold to trade. Item like Chak Egg exist in the game. The game does not have the normal trading options like in gw1 to enforce Trading Post Usage. I Want to Use TP. SO PLEASE JUST INCREASE THE LIMIT TO 20k and I will pay my 3K TAX. Thank you.

And I am going to Repeat myself again here,I do not mind this fight to stay the way it is, just want this fight to make worthwhile so pugs/ guild mates and fiends would come actually try rather than doing something else that gives them more gold per hour or loot. As I have mentioned quite a few problem that makes it achievement unattainable otherwise my thread name would be "Nerf Shatterer". And yes that feeling is good for a new map, new achievement or when its populated. And if you want to compare difficulty then there are at least 10+ bosses that are more difficult than this which require more than auto attack and those events do fail. I would have agreed with your point if the player base was like 1-2 years ago or during a event week or like the way people do HOT meta. Why HOT meta for exactly in 1 hour a person can kill (night boss > pitana > chak > octovine) or complete fractals with recs. So very few people those who has not finished this achievement is interested in it let alone those who finished it. Now what I can do is buy people from LA and Guild (Yesterday I got Chak infusion Drop :) ) and pay them 10-15 gold each to help me with this achievement, trust me the map will be full. Also as mentioned before you see people always at claw (because the icy sohathin) and Tequatl (because of exclusive skin) and lay line for the mystic coin. Others are not rewarding enough as HOT & POF meta. The people who do it is running a meta train are freshly 80's who and some elite players who auto attack and goes to do something else. Now let me give another example,Triple trouble, Only one guild / People kills it every day in eu 7PM they have TTT in lfg. I joined them 4-5 days in a row and the achievements ware straight forward and you had to join at least an hour or at least 45 min before or the map becomes full. I asked them if anet pays them to keep that content alive the replied no, they love this boss and wants to help people get the achievements. After I got my 150 AP and all the mastery point, I never ever visited that boss because almost 1 hour or 1.5 hour for some rares, no thanks. And when I was aiming for Triple Trouble achievements, trust me I was going to every Triple trouble spawn time and no one was there. Why ? is it harder than Chak, Octovine or the new Kalkatorik fight ? no its not it allmost exaclty same where you need to kill all the bosses at same time. However no commanders or blob of people are interested to complete it because the core tyria rewards are nothing comparing to the HOT & POF meta. Now imagine a new player running in bloodtide coast sees a world boss at prime time but not a single person to trying to kill it and think "damn I should go back to eso, or wow" because there is no player in this game. And let me tell you my experience 3-4 years ago when I was running around there and when the booses spawn I see commanders pop up instantly or before. Just like you see 3-4 or even 5 maps of Tangled Depth meta. I would like to experience what you experienced many many years ago but sadly at current state of this game its not possible for me and so many new players even with guild / friend and lfg.I remember how hard it was for me to "Hearts And Minds Mordremoth CM" but with the POF specs its a piece of cake. People even soloed it (with a holo as far as I remember)People ran around HOT maps and core tyria to complete map and do achievements now you can use teport to friend / griffon or skyscale to do them in moments.I believe when the content is fresh it should be the hardest and when people loose their interest and done with their achievements and eventually moves to the new next map , then the old map should be downed in difficulty or at least those what requires a lot of people. So people like you "Cuks.8241" and" woodenpotatoes" (refraining to his new video) get their challenge and when most the the people move on to next map and those maps become Ghost Town people can finish those achi and catch up and have good time aswell.I was mainly active in this game from "All or nothing" and when I joined I never saw a single meta fail in thunderhead peak now you go there you will see how people fail oil meta every day because they lack people. It can be done in prime time tough when people organize it but when I joined at All or Nothing release time no matter when you went there the meta was a success in that map. Also today I saw a dragonfall meta fail because people all grind ed this map enough and got their achievements and moved on to the next. So they have to be fair to the people who came to this game late and want to catch up. I am not asking for the 8 year birthday pack here, just asking to tweak the meta to current needs as they did it with palawadan (price of last tier mats ware decreasing) so they nerfed it, no one was doing POF meta so they improved it and loot and you can see more people on pof maps than before. Thank you, I will not be posting anymore as people who done it will say achi like this is easy or should exist or like the first guy "make friends join and Guild Its a MMO" as they hardly leave mistlock santuary and when they leave they only go POF and HOT meta and fractals and logout. I hope this thread gets anet's attention and they do some changes to all the core tyria stuff to make them appealing and compete with HOT & POF (lets face it people are going to buy HOT & POF for glider and mounts) not for what is loots from the meta. "Please Work a bit in the core game its where the new players starts and many of my friends who wanted to try this left because the core game was not appealing enough for them and as they are not buying to play the core game they have no incentive to stay as well"

As I said multiple time in the post I have no problem how it is now and also with content that require proper squad but making that proper squad is hard when 300-400 people are on Tequatl at the same time when most of the EU people play. There is a group that organise Triple Trouble and the map gets filled an hour before because people know they will be successful at completing the achievement and also timing does not conflict with other popular bosses. And there are many achievements that I can think of that require team play and participation form people for example "Siren Reef" achievement in t4 , however those can be done again and again and a skin is not hidden behind that achievement. I have seen multiple post in this forum and in Reddit that jump timing is messy , its alright i will try my luck next world boss or talk to my guild leaders to organize this one. But please stop telling me its easy , get friends and use lfg :)
  21. I took this screenshot just to show that all 3 EU Prime time (4PM,7PM,10PM) the timer collides with Tequatl the Sunless. So there are 3 filled map of Tequatl and one person with mentor tag trying to form shatterer map. You can go and kill the boosses there will be 10-15 people but not do the achievement which is my point. Also as I said before I bought commander tag just for this and I posted groups on prime times for 3-4 days straight only 5-10 people join my event and if I am lucky 20-25 but no one wants to do the achievement. So the points are again > People like Tequatl more than this because of the lootPeople hardly comes to kill shatterer And even by luck you form or enter a big group no one is willing to do the achi as its hard and not worth the try and just auto attack the mighty legs Even if Anent dose not want to change the fight they can add a re skin of "Sohothin" like Claw of Jormag on the loot or add the "infusion" that drops from death branded shatterer. When more people comes to kill the boss the easier it is to find willing people participating in that achievement. Another thing I want to point out that no matter what the time is you will see HOT maps are active , because even after the boss loot there are plenty of containers to open :) or the Matriarch or Pitana which is easy and fast meta that gives you hero chest and gemstone

  23. The Core Tyria Shatterer Needs Some TweaksIts almost impossible to get the "No Fly Zone" & "Smash That Dragon" Achivement. The Reasons : Not enough people doing it because no special loot like (Tequatl the Sunless or Claw of Jormag)Not enough people doing it in prime playing time of EU (4PM and 7PM) Server time as it collides with the timing of (Tequatl the Sunless)Those who are doing this boss most of them are doing the flying achievement full time no incentive for themCC window is very low timed and bar is very strong (OT: There are a lot of mobs in open world that I found its easier to just kill them with auto attack rather breaking their bar) By tweaking one or two reason this can be solved. I have to agree I see a lot less player that before in open world content as I saw a year or two ago. Most of the elite players now just log in during a new LS update. And the new players are having bad experience trying to get these bosses killed and get the achievement. The core Tyria can get more polish in many places so the new players have better experience ultimately sticking with the game. I am not saying make them easy just sensible when 25-30 people trying it the bar should be broken by 10-15 people pressing 1CC.

I noted down few things while playing this game last year and found many place for improvement (Only in my opinion so far) General Account Selection : Me including my friends and many GW2 players use multiple account. Logging them manually is a hassle every time and the client already stores info for one account why not make it able to save few. So from one PC multiple players or account holders can log in at ease. Of course the is a shortcut option with parameters and also 3rd party software like GW2 launch buddy but an official method would be nice. Character Slot : Many people reached 69 Slots by now. Make it 100 so if some one wants they can make [(9 Class Male + 9 Class Female) x (5 Race)] = 90 toon, that means each class each race each profession. Also, the number 100 look better than 69 ;) Character Sorting : Many people have lots of Character and a sorting option will help them to navigate in their character selection screen. These maybe by age (when created),Name,Class or even Slotted like Guild wars 1 with addition you can move them to desired slot. If those are not possible then a favorite marker or something so his all main character always stays at first. Storage of Universal Upgrades : You acquire a lot of universal upgrades time to time (You have to manually sell them either and normal NPC or at TP). There can be slot in bank for them how we store gems. They are not directly crafting materials but you use them to make Amalgamated Gemstone. Guild Storage : You cant make stacks inside guild bank, double click to withdraw like normal bank. IF that creates a problem for larger guild then have an option to toggle it. Many people uses guild stash to transfer items between account since 2 mail in 5 min limit is not much. As more mail allowance might give griefers more power and a simple trade system will ruin the current economy. Vista : While interacting with a vista the white flash hurts my eye. Initially I thought it was just me or I have some problem with my eye. (I use a ASUS VG248QE 144hz monitor, also i noticed this in my brother's AORUS AD27QD monitor both set on gaming mode). Also I asked around some of my fiends and my brother and one of them replied that they close their eye and look away from the monitor interacting with the vistas. Class Specific Animation: Some animation like (Aegis, A big red mark under reverent forgot what it was, Reverent green hand etc). I read in a thread somewhere that it is important for PVP. So what you can do this options select able. You can created a new tick in the options menu creating "class specific animation" toggle so who wants it can have it and who does not want it can track aegis trough how they track their other boons. Its like something I use auto targeting in PVE but when go to PVP i disable that. Its also like having the options with "Character Model Quality / Limit" Account Bound Items : There are a lot of account bound items which you accumulate playing this game. Most of them have recipe in mystic forge to make them sell-able or get something in return. For example blood stone dust, karma = you can destroy them using currency eaters. You can even convert your gift of expiration to legendary and sell them (Only Core). You can create ascended insignia and sell them with Globs of Dark Matter. However there are still some items which people gradually gets but nothing to spend on after they have done everything with it. I may be not one of them but I know some are. They have nothing to do with their extra Vision Crystals and Balls of Dark energy, yes Balls of Dark Energy. After creating all the legendary, slotted all their toons with ascended they do not have anything to do with those. You can add some consumable account bound recipe like one can make 20-50 of a certain kind of ascended food with these or trade crafting mats for them at a bulk. Also people with 300 MF do not have anything to do with their extra "Essence of luck" sure maybe there are few guild upgrades but that's about it. Consumable are way to go as they will not hurt economy but better it. Rings & Accessory: Its 2019, There are like 10+ or even more you ways you can easily get ascended rings and amulet. However still you can only equip only one of the same ring or Accessory (only Mist Trinkets have exception). A person may want to ware "Blood Ruby Backpack, Band and Pendant" and use bloodstone related armor and dyes to role play but they cant. It might be silly but for me and I believe for a lot of people symmetry is same as quality of life. Also another point, I heard that Jewelcrafting will move to 500 which is also symmetry. You can add ascended rings / accessories recipe. You do not have to add new rings. For example core Tyria have all the ascended rings you can buy for laurels (Berserker : Ring of Red Death), POF has (Harrier : Corsair's Ring, Sigil of the Fool, Goren's Eel-Tooth Charm, Elonian Transit Pass and still missing a trinket if you font use mist trinket or all start trinket from LWS 3,4 Maps ). You can add these existing Trinkets to JC 500 and remove tag only one of each can be equipped. For example someone can buy the recipe of "Ring of Red Death for Karma or 1-3 laurel and craft 2 of them start heading to content rather than mine,chop or cut for those. Crafting : Discovery is important part to level crafting, however when you reach 500 there are many things you haven discovered. Discovering them is very expensive and even if you discover them that is not account bound (Yes many people including me does profession in multiple toon for QOL even tough it docent give you any benefit). What i am asking here is recipe vendors that sell level 400/500 recipes of lower tier discoverable recipes. So when you reach 500 you can just go and spend a lot of karma to buy all the recipe and they can be account bound and only activates after another toon hits 500 or it can even be character specific. Again this is a part of symmetry and people buy contents from "Legendary Belongings of the Great Zehtuka" at very high price to add main recipe to their account. Gear Drop Symmetry : Assaulter, Defender, Healer armor was a nice addition to the fractals. Not only it was convenient to store armor but letting people to choose stats base on their expansion was another nice thing and it deserves applause. You can top this up buy dropping POF + HOT rings on fractals (the rings you buy with laurel and for now only rings you get is core Tyrian ones). So if someone has POF and doing fractals he might have a chance to get (Corsair's Ring, Sigil of the Fool etc) you can also add these to the vendor. Not only that you can also make (assaulter, defender and healer) Weapons that drop from fractals and you already have trinket (assaulter, defender etc) in raids. Repeatable Achievements : There are few many repeatable achievements with specific tier. Not the daily ones like "Blood in the water" but tier based ones like "Agent of Entropy". Specifically "Agent of Entropy" when each tier gives you 2AP and when you reach 125 Tier or do it for 125 times you get the Max 250 AP from that specific achievement. However that achievement still counts that after 250AP or 125 times and when you go see that achievement it feels like you are still incomplete in achievements. For a completionist like me and many others its a very negative thing. You can find many these achievements in festivals. In recent Halloween you can find "Champion of the Labyrinth" "Knock Down the Doors" etc where they are capped at mostly at 5 tier with 25AP after that when you do it once you get few bags and the Achievements keeps the count. What can be done in these cases is when we finish the max tier mark, the achievement looks like every other achievement (glowing purple) and also as it is repeatable can have a small marker or sign indicating that this is still counted or repeatable for more rewards and when you click that achievement and go inside it you see how many times you completed it and what you get next time. Retired Achievement : Just remove this. We can see what we missed In wiki and also there are some uncompleted as i bought the game and played 10-15 days for before switching to GW2 permanently at the start of this year. For example " Active Guild Member" Half Filled and i will never be able to complete that. Build Temp : Again another thing to deserves applause. However you made gear and spec separate which I initially though be 1 feature but not 2 separate . I under stand why you did it also you gave 3 Free spec slot but 2 Free Equip slot (even tough it breaks symmetry for all my alts ) I still understand why you did it. However you have to manually change both spec and equipment. There should be an option where you connect a spec tab with a equipment tab (As far as I know its not there, If its there i am really sorry that i posted this). Another thing you can add is a remember mechanics. For example when i am in PVE its spec one. When i enter WVW and change to spec 2 and equipment 2 it will remember that when when i come back to PVE it auto switches to Spec 1 And Equip 1 and when i re enter WVW it goes back to spec 2 and equip 2 just like how it was before specially the spec. Auto consume: There are few tings that fills your inventory such as karma, trade contract (You source karma many ways those bottles , LWS4 Map Karmic retribution, You get trade contract from crystal desert various way). Some of them are consumed automatically and some creates mess in the inventory. So please make all currency item consumable directly. Pet: Give rangers and Necro minion option to hide. There is a option for ranger but as soon as you go to combat the pet comes. Give an option to remove pet or keep it hidden. There are a lot of places where I do not require my pet and does extra aggro yes there are options to make it docile but its the choice of the game that makes it great. If i want to be a ranger without pet let me be. And for Necro once you bring them out you cant remove them. PVE Personal Story : There are still no way to skip personal story and the green marker is always there on the map. Changing content guide or stopping the story from jurnal does not remove the marker. Auto Start LWS2 : As I like to create alts and the game wants you to make alts in form of (Backpack collections, Elite Spec Equipment Collection etc). So only way getting rid of the green marker is to finish lvl 80 mission killing Zhaitan "Victory or Death". Doing few story mission while leveling is fun and also rewarding and they are short and simple. After that you get History Lesson about LWS1 in LA and you are done green marker is gone. UTILL I bought LWS2 and it automatically starts. Note that "All the later LWS (3,4,5) and expansions needs to be started manually but why not LWS2 ? The problem it creates now to get rid of the green marker, I have to finish whole Living World season 2 running across Tyria with boring stuff which is not also as rewarding. You have already the mechanism in place for later Living World Season why not implement it on LWS2. 3.CC and Movement : Tone down cc and one hit mechanics in open world. Yes there are mounts, yes its easy to get ascended items and kill enemy easy but there are some areas special HOT areas where you still get 1 shotted and cc'd hard. Implement them on story or specific content is alright but open world is not a good idea. You toned it down in POF but still its their slow, immobilize and etc. I am not saying make the game easy it has a nice overall balance but reduce some mobs cc and hitting power at least in open world. [i am sure to get a lot of hate for this point :(, but still i have to make it ] Underwater gear: I know its not hard to get ascended underwater breather from Bitterfrost Frontier, and looking at new Aquatic Ruins it seems you are adding underwater content. I think it is time to give core Tyria stats or stat selectable (Common,Uncommon and exotic) underwater breather. Either dropped from mobs like normal armor or bought using easily accessible currency such as karma. (Yes i know about the NPCs in ORR). Also proper underwater balance for healing, condi damage power damage not a mashup of whatever you wanted in 2013 when underwater content was not a focus. But I believe you kept that for a proper underwater expansion. Bag : Now that you have introduced 32 Slot bags why not let us upgrade our main bag to 32 slot for symmetry. It can come as an elaborate collection in a later LW Episode map or you can implement it on a core Tryia in the form of content like Chef (500). Backpack : Again you can get backpack various way, you can even transmute other backpacks to look like something else. But you should add backpack recipe to all the crafting discipline. For example "Banner of the Dauntless Commander" its crafted after a collection but you can only make ONE ? Why not make the items attainable after collection with a hefty price and produce more. Just like "Light of Dwayna" "Spinal Blade" etc. I would love to make all my main toons that I play all have same untransmuted backpack :) WVW Reward Track Selection : Do not auto start a random reward track, (its not random there is a pattern I know) let us select the next one. For example "I am currently doing a reward track which is repeatable" you can add an option next reward track or keep repeating this one. Or another option (Which may be tolerable as many people might not want this) that after you finish a reward track you have to manually select another track or you wont get reward track and the points will be wasted. (AS I SAID CAN BE TOGGLE ABLE) WVW Map Completion: The vistas, point of interest and hero points are already there why not give us map completion. I read somewhere that it was necessary for gift of expiration before and I am not asking for that. What I am asking is people to complete WVW maps just like normal maps and get rewards maybe few wvw tokens or even experience. It will defiantly spice WVW up a little bit as people will want to raid more. If none of them is possible at least give a tracker like normal maps somewhere where you can see that you have collected x/y amount of hp , vista etc just for those completionist out there like me. You can do this to PVP lobby as well as there are few poi and after you get them you get some free xp just like going to Order of Whisper cave. Hide Titles : You can hide a lot of thing is WVW to improve performance but not title. Implementing an option to hide it like other stuff that already exist will improve the overall WVW experience and performance. PVP Do Not hate please I am A very bad PVP Player with 250+ MS ping and Gold 1/2 last season Reward Track Selection : Same As WVW GOD/ GODESS of PVP : (Let the hate rain xD) There should be multiple ways to reach this. Let me explain either competitive in those matches capture point with bunker builds. OR addition where arena 2v2, 3v3, 5v5 even where the top teams get titles easily every season with hefty rewards like a lot of mystic coins and stuff. Other who can reach it by grinding a certain level that may only be grind able in ranked and slowly getting all titles and reach GOD of PVP in the end. I think its still fair someone grinds it for 2-3 years and someone who is good can get it in 3 months. Another thing you can increase the rewards for top tier players like many more mystic coins and another stuff which is still acessable to the mass in other way. He is good so he gets 500 mystic coin at the end of the season and i am not good at pvp so I do not get those coins but still can farm in another way. You can create statutes and where clicking season 14 or 15 will say all the names of top players. Or create dedicated small instances one where from one portal people can visit each season's room and see champion's statutes. But for the love of god do not keep titles behind pvp tier wall (there will always be few good players, only 3 months season), everyone should have access to titles at the same time. That means not only one player each 4 months. I consider achievements as a part of content. (Storm of hate xD) Conclusion Hate me or love me these are my opinion and mine alone. No matter what happens i will still love the game and keep playing it. Even tough i bought the game in 2015 I properly played it for last Year. Letting us decide if we want to start Living World Season 2 Like (HOT,POF and other living world episode) would really help.Because then after completing (Killing Zhaitan + Scarlett's war recap) we will have no quest pointer. A lot of people wanted to remove quest but this is as close at it is going to get i guess which is very easy for anet to implementAs, options to manually turn on content already exist ( POF + HOT) main story line also people can complete lvl 80 quest like zhaitan storyline which is not that long like lws2 and also rewarding and be done with story marker in their alt character.
