This is still an issue. Have been trying to do this for several days as well.

I've spent my whole afternoon for the second day in a row trying to get this @#$% meta. I don't mind a challenge, but this is ridiculous. We had a coordinated map, excellent communication and good commanders. people still stood in greens. At this point I'm pretty sure I will never come back to this content once I get the unlocks I want, just because this experience has been so horrible. which is sad because I think this is actually pretty fun if it was done right. The event is way too long, not to mention that there's next to no rewards unless it's successful. There's no way I'm going to spend 2 hours of my limited game time on a regular basis for something that gives that little.

I'll be honest I'm not a huge fan of this kind of content (instanced content for huge squads). But I can see that it does have some appeal. However, I think there is a fine line between incentivising and discouraging people from playing. The fact that it's more challenging in itself won't incentivise anyone to play. The rewards need to be there. Too many fails, and people simply can't be bothered.

This was a super exciting update, and despite being a newer WvW-er I'm curious about the alliances idea. I'm sure there will be a lot more details to come. Right now I'm just happy that WvW is getting some attention. I am curious though how alliances will solve the current matchup problems. The current matchup has us up against two larger and higher ranked ones that run much bigger squads. Our group of 15-20 is getting bulldozed by groups twice our size or larger. We've had evenings where we were barely able to get 3 dailies done. Not fun, and I really hope that the alliance system will help that and not make it worse. I guess I'm worried that all the big/elite guilds will just form an alliance together which will basically shut anyone else out who doesn't play that particular level or style? Hopefully that won't be the case though.

I've done the full event twice, plus the pre-events. No credit :C It seemed like about half the people who did the event got the achievement, but the other half didn't.

Tried this and did not work for me, sadly. I will probably try a different character next, but it's extremely frustrating to have wasted the time. Also, using the violet markers worked before, so it doesn't make sense that it wouldn't work here too? Is there a way to access the green markers aside from playing through the whole story? This is the only way I know to do that.

100% this. I realise I'm in the minority here, but as a Mac user who can't run arcdps, I would love to see a personal in-game dps meter offered. But I think it should be just that, personal. I would love to be able to see my own dps stats as I am playing as a way to improve my own game play. That said, I think something like that would need to be implemented/used carefully so it's not used to bash on other people.

I'm also having this issue since the LNY update and it's made the game completely unplayable. While I am able to log in, the game crashes within minutes no matter where in the game I am at. All the settings are turned down to low as well. Hopefully the devs can fix this quickly. Was hoping to play WvW with my guildies tonight.
