Since the Silent Surf CM update, all Harbingers of Woe NPC changed the texture to a repeated version of "destroyed worlds" where you can see as the images repeat and the textures borders, and I think it might be a bug since Nightmare, Shattered and Sunqua, all had different body textures, and now all of them have the Sunqua texture repeated all over his body without the "celestial" effect. As for Silent Surf, the challenge mote is showing up on Tier 1 (I didn't check the other tiers) https://i.imgur.com/w5PhAV6.png On CM, if you turn on the cm, teleport through the portal as soon as it opens. it will teleport you back to start. If you go through the portal and step on the checkpoint before the objective updates, it won't count as you're in the checkpoint (we had 4 ppl in the checkpoint and counted as 0 at one point). Example: https://i.imgur.com/3OfGWeN.png Also idk if it's intended this way, but every other cm boss had a theme song playing (Ensolyss has Battle on the Breachmaker, Arkk has his own theme, Ai has her own theme with a variation for each element and also one for Dark Ai), but Kanaxai fight plays Parabellum from EoD, that is often found in normal EoD battles, so feels weird this one being different, idk if it's bugged or intended this way.

My main mesmer has all 8 equipment slots unlocked and I use 5 different types of runes in them, so this current plan of 3 will punish whoever has legendary runes and bought all the equipment slots to use different builds. Also the example shown in the blogpost about Zephyrite Relic has a different effect than the actual 6th bonus of Zephyrite rune, so will all the other effects also change? Anet should show as example the Superior rune of the Scholar, since it's a rune that is used by most power builds, if the 6th effect actually changes, it might feel less like a punishment for whoever has Scholar runes, but if it's the same effect, it will be really bad having to spend more to have the same effect as before the expansion. And if the legendary Relic is SotO only, I'm afraid in the future anet will remove a % of weapon stats and sell it as expansion feature to get back to normal since it's the precedent, I can imagine 5th expansion being like "now your Bolt will have 3/4 of the stats and no lightning effects, but you can get the 1/4 stats and lightning effects back crafting the Legendary Sheath (significant progress for each legendary weapon you have!!!)". As for the "significant progress" for having Legendary runes, will it be what? Gold saved? Time saved? Currency? Account bound materials? Mystic Clovers? A handshake from an NPC?
  3. I tested on DX9 in every post processing setting and it looks the same as all settings on DX11 (using Mistlock Sanctuary as reference). Mistlock Sanctuary really hurts to look at now, if you don't see the difference, maybe you were playing on high before and didn't notice. I feel like biggest problem is having multiple effects tied to one option, idk how possible it would be, but having a different box for bloom, color grading and other effects would improve a lot instead of one package with everything. Also I just tested and now I can't see new kaineng sky in daytime anymore, it's all a white bloom 😞
  4. I've found an inconsistency of effects on Dx11 vs Dx9 on Harvest Temple Strike Mission. The void/corruption effects display differently depending on what graphics card brand you use and if you're using dx9 or dx11. In NVIDIA cards, while using DX11 the "corruption" AoEs are black, while on DX9 they have a black and purple effect just like the void themed enemies, and using a AMD card and DX11, the effect is dark green (I couldnt test on dx9 amd). I've found this out while watching my static do HT through discord, each person had a different color for the mechanic and this got really confusing. I've tested all settings and none makes a difference on that AoE effect, only changing from Dx9 to Dx11 Here's an example of the differences, top image is Nvidia 2070 super on DX11, the orb aoe is black, middle is Nvidia 2070 super on Dx9, the orb aoe is black/purple with a different effect, and on botton is how it looked while watching the players on AMD. https://imgur.com/a/MzM8DAh

Since the June 7 patch that changed how you enter on Special Forces Training Area: It's impossible to join as squad (any size) with other members of group (either from aerodrome or lion's arch), when someone tries to join a player inside the Training Area, they're are instantly kicked back to aerodrome. The only way to join with a friend is through party (it uses the story mission/home instance join prompt), so we can't join with more than 5 people. If someone is already in, we cannot join them after instance was opened if someone needs to leave and go back in. If someone tries to join after the instance has been opened, they end up in another Training Area instance alone. If the player who opened the instance leaves the Training Area, everyone is kicked back to aerodrome. We also can't revive unless through someone reviving you since no waypoints and the revive prompt doesn't show up. We can't /gg inside, it says "Usable only in raids or fractals". Everything points out that the new Training Area works as a story instance and this reduces the ability of training a group by a lot, and it wasn't fixed in the June 28th patch, so here I am asking for a fix since it's been almost a month.

Removing the old voice lines also kinda removes Mai's personality, after meeting with the new Mai in EoD after almost a decade gave a feeling of the character aging and dealing with what happened in the mists (with the new VA tone) compared to young Mai. Now after doing the old aetherblade and Mai not having her energetic voicelines it kinda feels like it removed all impact these years had and she was always how she is in EoD. EoD Mai's voice is fine, but please can we have the old voice in the old content, or at least in fractals since it's what we hear frequently?
  7. Mesmer Mirage Chaos Vortex: Fixed a bug in which alacrity was being granted in a circle around the targeted enemy rather than around the casting mesmer. we're free guys, cya in the next bug ty for the fix!
  8. That's not related to mirage, there's a bug that strips boons in training area for any class after a couple seconds, you can test it with something else and it will also remove the boons.

I opened a ticket about Dx11 and asked about Chaos Vortex and another thing at the end of my ticket, the answer was to do a ingame bug report, but looks like people already did the report way before and there was no feedback. My ticket was a couple days ago. Even if they said it's not intended behavior, the asnwer was literally "go report it" and that's what people are doing here. It's a bug and not a nerf, but we just wanted to know if it's being worked on because every mesmer has ptsd of bugs not being fixed or changes ruining gameplay/fun for a long time before someone takes a look at it. Saying relax doesn't help in any way, and I don't think tagging devs in every post help either since in their profile the last visited was a couple days ago with last post a week ago. I guess that's how the humans felt when Exodus happened, idk, I play asura.

Every class has an op mechanic but I don't see they getting nerfed this much/often (maybe elementalist, and they even joke about it and it's frustrating for ele mains), but you know it's bad when you're in pvp and you see another mesmer and thinks "oh this will be easy, I'm glad it's not a revenant or a necromancer", or when you join a fractal or raid and first thing they say is "are you really playing chrono? it's been nerfed" and you know they will try to kick you in the first chance they have, even tho everything was fine one day before the patch. I dislike the way they balance the game because everyone i talk to is frustrated at some point, if something is "op" and viable, instead of nerfing it, why doesnt they make the other classes op and fun to play too? It's a win win, but no, let's ruin the fun for some people for "balancing", they were playing the game and having fun and fun should be nerfed. Anyway. I think the worse part of this bug is that it is exploitable, it's not only pve being affected. The boons works on PvP at infinite range, you can camp a node and use it on another node if someone is fighting and you can target them; or in a wvw zerg.
  11. Maybe they don't see us because we have Mass Invisibility elite skill, we should move to necromancer or guardian, they always get all the good stuff anyways. I was glad Alacrity was a viable mesmer thing again, after the DT/slow nerfs on chrono, felt like it was nerfed just so virtuoso has a reason to exist, also funny how on HoT chronomancer page it still says "Chronomancy is the only specialization allowed access to this powerful effect, and chronomancers can share alacrity with allies in limited situations, making them an incredibly powerful ally to have in any party.", feels like it didn't age well. I did the in-game bug report like they said. I just hope this isn't another Chaotic Interruption all over again.
  12. It's really frustrating year after year getting those nerfs that changes everything and suddenly it's not viable anymore, it's one of the reasons of some breaks I took from the game. But it is a bug. I sent a ticket to anet about some other subject and asked about Chaos Vortex and they said "Boons should be applied to allies near the caster when using Chaos Vortex.", it's not intended, they told me to "submit an in-game bug report. This will send detailed information to the develpment team so they can address the issue as promptly as possible."

Please give us an option to bind a "Hide/Show All Players Name" toggle to a some key, something just like the "Show/Hide UI" (ctrl shift H) but with our life and skills on.(I know there's an option in menu to hide it, but a keybinding shortcut would be great, doind the world bosses this week all I see is green scribbled letters everywhere).
