I remember (kinda) as my NCSoft log in for Guild Wars was - emailname@plaync - which I was asked to change / create one with Anet and use that as the main log in account etc etc. When that happened I honestly can't remember what I had on the account at the time. The only time I ever lost characters was when they introduced the megaserver and 2 of my oldest characters went -poof-

Considering the amount of changes that have happened over the many years with introduction or removal of things due to siege abuse / hacking and balance issues etc etc, then yeah my response is what I thought of when I read your post seeing 'event' and 'meta event' said more than once. I am sure it sounds fun to you, doesn't mean that everyone has to agree. Hell if that is the case get them to spawn that lag fested event in desert borderlands that was there when the map was put into rotation, or the ORB OF POWER... yeah bring that back 😂

They did Shiro dirty in the 'legacy outfit' I mean... wtf is that even. Don't even get me started on those weapons. Sword skin I get (even though it is garbage and nothing like what Shiro had but .... GS skin? Really? That was about the same level of shock as I had when I saw the Pegasus Griffon skin, like LMFAO At this point everything they bring out is just comical now, I get to laugh at how ugly it all is and know I will never buy it / use it and move on with my day.

Best way is to use the in game reporting function - it shows Anet a lot more than what you can imagine. Take a screenshot (if able) of the person(s) you are reporting. (Don't worry the little report box doesn't appear in the screenshot for them) Report / send / block the player and move on. Banning accounts due to hacking or whatever takes time, I know that it would be nice to be as quick as getting banned on the forums - but the forums has its own set of rules sooooo.....

If you are meaning that you have already linked a GW2 account to your Guild Wars account and were wondering if you can either 'swap' it for another or 'add' it to the linked accounts, short answer would be no. Once an account is linked it can't be unlinked. So if you have another GW2 account it will just be an alt account and can't be linked (as well) at least.... that was my interpretation of what you were asking about in your post, my bad if I have it wrong 😬

I haven't had the issue of the mobs teleporting through, but they do have a massive agro range and will chase you all the way back up to the stairs into the mansion 😂 I have always used stealth for the basement so never had an issue myself with any shadow steps / portal etc on my thief, but I will only do the basement in stealth if no one in the party wants extra loot - so I generally start it off before we have all gathered so they aren't waiting for the door to open to the barn. Yes you can teleport up to the higher floors (I use it for the pillow room) and teleport up from the floor below. I also use it to teleport into the barn on the 2nd floor (when I hold the cut scene for others to place themselves before the mobs spawn) I still enjoy the dungeon and it has been that way since I can remember - just like merging all paths in AC. Anet know about it - won't fix it and the only way it will be an issue for the player is if they try to 'sell' the paths. I still enjoy doing all the old dungeons if I stealth certain parts or just kill everything. Maybe just be more weary of where you are landing your shadow steps?

Some of our dps players in our guild donate their loot bags and each of our supports gets 50 bags each after our runs, but that is just us I guess 😕

Considering Fractals IS pve, the +5 stats work in PVE / as does the +5 stats from WvW infusions - work in PVE, the % to lords / guards etc just doesn't add to it when not in WvW and the +9AR only appears when in fractals. Mist attunement works with the AR that you already have, so therefore works in Fractals and only fractals - I know for a fact not even something like that would make me want to play Strikes / Raids. I don't like those particular game modes for a reason (my reason) - just the same as some people who don't play WvW game mode or sPvP game mode. I am sorry but I just don't understand what it is you really want from this? Another 'reason' to do 'something' or work towards something else in PvE ?? Honestly even if you did get your wish - it won't effect me as I don't do strikes and raids, so therefore I really wouldn't care if they got an 'extra' something.

The turtle mount is obnoxious enough in a PvE setting. I really hope they don't add it to WvW.

Once they have been acquired and you can see them in the collection achievement, you can safely sell it/destroy/delete if it isn't used to combine with another item etc. I generally right click the item to double check it has picked it up for the collection before I get rid of it.

Why guilds ask for this info (especially for 'missions and such' ) is beyond me, like.. why? If in doubt - don't. Nothing is ever truly secure, even with 2FA emails can be taken. Any API keys you give them access to is a read only data - but depending on what permissions they want will depend on what they see, and at the end of the day, it is really up to you if and why they need the info in the first place.

I can help - but it would be an advantage to know what points you might be looking at grabbing and which you don't need (just to get to the 30 for the skin) I will be able to get a better picture on the kind of help I can give you.

We share our loot bags with our support players in guild. Some of the damage classes will give all the bags they collect to the guild to pass onto the support players after a run. We send 50 bags to each support player. I know they are 'only heavy loot bags' but still, some of our players only play during our WvW runs, so its nice to get extra materials. The rewards aren't great in WvW, so I am glad that I don't play that game mode for rewards 😂

The two questions you ask at the end - Is this a problem that others experience as well? - Only in your group(s) I guess? Is there something Anet is planning to do against this? - How is this Anet's problem? Honestly though, is this person still your 'friend' ? Ask your friend if they want to experience the Dungeons or any of the paths in a chill non rushed way to look me up. I will be happy to take them through so they can experience it all and I will even upgrade their bag space.

I don't really know much about laptops - but my guess would be (especially if you are running on high/max settings for GW2) that it is your CPU. Since GW2 is a CPU heavy game, and your CPU is a base speed of 2.60GHz (but can be boosted to 3.50GHz) I would suggest this is partly the issue. I mean 2.60GHz isn't bad, but if running on high / max settings then your CPU isn't gonna like you much. Have you tried reducing the settings to see if it helps?

There are a few guilds that attempt T4 in VB and succeed usually ONLY when VB is a daily. So maybe keep an eye out if VB event is on for a daily because I know a few people that finally got that last piece of the puzzle they needed - which is T4
