  1. I just did the Forging Steel Story in squad mode.During the end boss fight I got downed while entering the tank, guess I had some burning stacks on me or sth, dunno. I had the usual downstate skills (while moving with the tank) and rezzed myself with considerable help from my comrades. Upon reviving I stood atop the tank and couldn't move. I had my normal weapon skills (bers war double axe) and could activate them but not move myself. No jumping or evading worked, for the rest of that end boss fight I could do nothing. After the fight I tried to use the waypoint, but after the according mini-loading screen I still stood atop the tank.Next thing I tried was relogging. After that I was in the eye of the north hub and, being still in my squad, I reentered the cleared instance.I could open the end chests (at least I got the opening animation) but I got no loot.About an hour of fighting and events and stuff - for nothing :/
  2. When we killed it yesterday after 20:00 CET it was just a big HP sponge. ppl in map chat said there were supposed to be some mechanics, phases, breakbars or adds or sth (infos from their friends on other instances of the map) but we were having none of that, just grinding it down slowly from 100% to 0.Probably bugged i guess. After killing Drakkar we got achievements for killing it, but no loot. Like, no loot at all. All the fighting for nothing (aside from the achievs).I sure hope that's getting fixed soon, or else this world boss (!) has no replay value at all.
  3. I like that idea and fully support it. There's only so many Vale Guard fragments you actually need for that golden trophy and for kill proofs =) and being able to exchange them for magnetite shards to buy asc gear does boost their worth quite a bit. But what concerns me more is that huge difference in drop rates between raid bosses and world bosses. Raid bosses have a guaranteed drop of 1 to 5 pieces per kill once a week, so when your guild has at least one full squad it easily gets something between 10 and 50 pieces a week. Since golden raid boss trophies need 250 of them, they're fairly fast to be completed. World bosses on the other hand have a CHANCE of dropping one piece per kill. According to my observations it's about 5 to 8 kills for one piece (for example doing chak gerent once daily and getting abt. one piece per week) and they need 500! to be completed. Teq is the only one we got to gold by now bcs it's being done rather frequently, but it still took us three years. TT to name the other extreme hasn't even reached silver by now (meaning, we got less than 100 pieces in almost four years). Which is understandable, bcs when you spend abt an hour for organizing and fighting a boss (TT/Mordy) and then DON'T get what you've been working for is pretty frustrating. And one more thing concerning Shattie:"This chest shares its daily cooldown with the Dragon Chest (The Shatterer) from the event Slay the Shatterer in Blazeridge Steppes. That means you can only loot one of the two chests on the same day."from guildwiki --> death branded shatterer. The Shatterer Crystal Shard only drops from the Blazeridge one.No comment. So when there should be a tab to sell raid boss trophy parts for magnetite shards / gaeting crystals, there also should be a specific-world-boss-only currency for which you can buy their trophy parts (and maybe some other stuff like buff food or unidentified gear etc). That or raising the drop rate for world boss trophy parts to one! guaranteed piece per kill/day.
  4. Hm. Sounds like a client side lag between the animation and the effect. I've never noticed it happening. I can't see what kind of lag this could be. The blowtorch always goes off to the right hand side, even when standing completely still and facing the target straight ahead (and even with no target at all). Every other ranged weapon attack from the engineer and every ranged wapon attack from every other class goes straight to a point in the center of the target's hitbox, except the blowtorch. It's even worse, when you're standing closer to the target. When you're really close to your target (nose to nose i might say), the animation goes almost in a 90 degrees angle to the right side. This skill's effects hit the target no problem, just the animation seems to think the target's hitbox were to the right of where it really is. As far as I can see this (let's call it a) bug has existed since the game's release. The engineer was the first class/char i ever created on the first day of pre-release and even then the blowtorch went to the side.
