Sadly, steal is a CC, ranged, instant, teleport, remove boons, grant boons, a bundle skill, condi damage and power damage (albeit no critical) and heals.Plus swipe is everything above unblockable, despite half the range. You only get all of those boons if you get Consume Plasma, its a ranged teleport like the thief short bow skill 5, it only removes damage if you are a deadeye or daredevil, and it doesn't remove boons. As someone who plays thief, I am aware of all of these things. No, i dont think they were, but it fits!

So, how would a Thief summon things, they aren't very magic oriented, much less studying enough to summon things.

They would just use models with added things. For Tengu they would use a charr model, and for largos, they would use sylvari/human models.

Why though? Game has no subscription, and it's really good game, why not drop like $5 bucks to support A.net? I hate RNG in general and will not pay for RNG items. I will support them by buying accounts upgrades, skins, and things like permanent harvesting tools, NOT stupid loot boxes with crappy drop rates.
