  1. Lockout is not the answer. The only flipping that needs to be done is through F2. Skill use should not flip over skills period. i can see some value in it, such as Arch rush to, and the Saint evade. But the rest of the flipping is too much. An F3 lock out is not needed.
  2. Additional feedback from me. I absolutely love the dodge mechanic! I have to hard disagree with the other posters here that the dodge animation with the Death Drop trait takes too long. I think the time is perfect. On the competitive side, I do think it needs to be made easier to land with because my targets can simply just walk away from the area of landing. With that in mind, I think the movement Of the dodge needs to sped up so you can catch your targets. This will probably increase dodge travel distance so I’m not sure how that will affect the balancing of it. Also, once
  3. Please change the hand placement on the handle of the Gunsaber on Charr. Right now he's holding it waaaaay to low to the end of the handle instead of closer to the hand guard. Looks very very weird, and is unplayable to me. It's held so awkwardly that it doesn't even look like the second hand is even holding anything except air.
  4. The landing animation bugs out and doesn't play if you continue moving after landing. For example, pressing forward and holding it while you're in the air and continue holding it even afterwards. In order to see the landing animation, you need to stop moving right before landing. Also, this may not be a bug, but I've been CC'd out of the dodge while in the middle of the dodge, while in the air several times. I don't think that's working as intended, but I could be wrong.
  5. Please change some of the GS swing animations. On Charr, GS1.1 and GS2 are literally the same motion. At least give 2 the Warrior SB Counter Attack animation or something. Or maybe GS1.1 Also, love the new dodge, feels a little light on the DPS meter though. Might need to bump up the numbers considering the sacrifices made to get it.
  6. Interesting build, what mode would this be for? Also, are you worried you could be doing better power dps if you went hybrid, or do you feel there's enough condi in GS and Alliance to make up for it?
  7. Thanks for pointing those out. Just bought some myself, although I’m still debating on the Runes of Adventurer.
  8. I’m pretty excited myself. as for Shiro, there’s some good utility in his skills, there’s Phase for example. But more than that, I think Riposte will become extremely important and act as our backup dodge mechanic to make up for the one dodge and/or weakness application on us. sword 4 also has that immob, so that is something also.
  9. I thought I would go ahead and start up a thread for build theories here. What kind of build are thinking of? Make sure to put what mode play for the build too. I mostly play on WvW. Currently, I am using a power/condi hybrid gear set with either Retribution/Corruption as a baseline, then for the third trait line, use either Renegade (solo/havoc/roaming) or Herald (Zerg). Legends are Malyx and then I often switch between Shiro and Jalis if on Renegade or just stay Jalis and Glint if on Herald. It has a surprising amount of sustainability due to upkeep healing and Torment runes.
  10. Viola! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands verified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtu
  11. Yea, I noticed that too and am a bit concerned with it too. I hope that add some more effects than what we just saw. Yeah yeah, visual noise, blah blah, but I for one don’t care about that, especially when I’m solo or in a small group. I want to see my spell effects plz.
  12. Looks like I was right about the offensive/defensive mode, except it was on the Utility skills and not the GS. I wonder what F2 will do to the other legends?
  13. Uhhhh, you didn’t see the block skill in the trailer? the one thing you said that I do agree with though is the unnecessary removal block on sword 4
