Hi, I just would like to add to the original post. I just attempted to sign in at https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us so that I could submit a support ticket as well, but pressing the Sign In button just refreshes the page and there is no way to submit our login information. As mentioned above, we can submit emails to the support team via support@arena.net but in case this issue is being worked on, I thought I would mention that I also experienced it. As a bit of additional information for troubleshooting, I use the FireFox browser and as my post shows, I can log in to the forums without issue.

According to this thread from February, Firefox didn't work but the transaction went through using Microsoft Edge. I also found this thread from some months ago, where someone mentions that it may be related to tracking protection settings in the Firefox browser.

To my knowledge, while a tool or set of tools with a glyph in them is most certainly priority, you can also consider gathering tools skins later on - based on your convenience preferences. I believe different skins have various animation speeds, so after you get one unbreakable of each gathering type - and you have the glyphs that you want - another option is, "okay, this skin for this tool has faster animation speed, so I can go from node to node more quickly, let me buy that for the skin." As an example, I believe the Consortium harvesting sickle is either one of, or the fastest, animations for that gathering tool type. If I recall correctly, there's also a glyph that gathers all nodes around you within an area of effect. [edit] Found it! It's the Reaping glyph. Once you have the gathering tools, and the glyphs that you want, you can also save up for shared inventory slots, so that every character you have now, and the ones you may create later, can access the 3 gathering tools from there.
