  1. I am looking for a smaller but active guild as I don't like huge groups of people. I have had negative experiences in the past with Discord, so until I feel comfortable joining a group and chatting I would need a Guild prepared to communicate at least to some extent in game. This is particularly important during guild events. I have only been playing for about 3 months so am fairly new to the game.Main Necro/ScourgeNo interest in any PvP contentInterested in fractals and dungeons in future but not always able to commit big chunks of timeA little organisation would be nice. I hate joining the group for something at x time and spending 30 minutes or more sitting around. Play lots of Open World - metas, bosses, achievements, unlocksHave HoT & PoF Recently bought all LWS on sale and am working through theseWould like a casual group not so much in terms of gameplay but of outlook. People who don't take everything in game super seriousGuild does not have to be primarily Australian but an Aussie guild would also be nice
  2. I am fairly new to GW2. I played briefly over 6 years ago and have just started again in the last 2 months or so. I am loving the game but I have to say the visual cancer is probably the thing I hate the most. I have things turned down as low as possible to try and combat it, but I wish this wasn't necessary because it's not a good system. When I hide players the game also hides hostile NPC's which makes some group events a real trial. I don't think things like this should be gated behind things like masteries though. I am 110% in favour of having some extra toggles in the game for things like skins and armour/weapon effects and what have you. Along with some improvements to the ability to hide other players without the game hiding hostiles. This is the best of all worlds because people who enjoy seeing this stuff can see it and those who find it irritating/nauseating/FPS breaking can choose to not see it. I have seen some objections to toggles of this kind on the forums and I really don't understand it at all. What you have on your character is visible to you, so people always see their own fashion (and I do love some fashion!), if toggles existed (and were done right) people could also choose to see what everyone else is wearing. The only conclusion I can draw from the objections I have seen is that people with things that others find blinding/nauseating (especially in large groups where there is a lot of it) are motivated by what others see and not by what they can see for themselves. This is a little sad imo. What others do/think/say/see shouldn't impact on your enjoyment of the game and your character. Unless ofc things that are said are offensive, which goes without saying.
