  1. Well, there'x [this] guy who benched 30k on celestial weaver, and I've had decent success running similar build in open world and soloing DRM CMs — tanky, convenient to play, respectable dps, power makes up ~35% of dps so clearing trash is faster than with pure condi trailblazer. If I had to guess trailblazer probably benches around 33-34k (considering regular viper build has around 38k dps with ~25% of it being power damage), but no benchmarks seem to exist for it. Sustain should be roughly the same as celestial — more toughness but less healing and barrier. Overall celestial is a very nice set to have but it's not a straight up upgrade to trailblazer's. I'd suggest keeping trailblazer and building cele in addition if you really want it.
  2. Condi Weaver with tanky gear is probably the best option ele has for soloing group content. (solo'ed Cairn and many bounties with this: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgAw2lZwiYXMJmJOKXfvbA-zRRYtRD+NsyIzEI0CwhLSwsBeLbNtB-e) Outside of soloing hard content, raid build from snowcrows deals some big damage, but is harder to play due to squishiness. Condi Tempest kinda works, but Weaver does pretty much everything better.
  3. If you have some condi gear it may be worth it to try condi weaver – with a proper tanky build it's possible to make this thing borderline immortaland capable of soloing most group content (aka solo bounties/champions, solo fractals/dungeons, solo Cairn, etc). For power it would be a good idea to try running a pvp build – those usually have much higher survivability than classic glass-cannon pve builds.
  4. Unfortunately, it's not socially acceptable to be an asura
  5. Sword Weaver is basically a battlemage: sustainy flashy mage who attacks in melee with a sword
  6. Actually there is quite a lot of soloable bounties, some are really hard because they either have too much cc/defence and live past 10 min timer or just deal too much damage. From my experience around a half are "hard to solo" category. Here's the build I've been running (condi weaver):http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGgAw2lZw2YXMJmJeuWfvbA-zRRYtRD+NsyIzEI0CwhZZrPN-e Condi rev and mirage are some of the best soloers, I've seen a guy solo 10 different legendary bounties as mirage, not sure about his exact build tho
  7. Racial skills are supposed to be garbage, giving all asuras a personal tank summon is not a good idea IMO
  8. Really like the the presentation, and you do have some cool ideas, but if something like this will be implemented ele will get simply OP. Too much powercreep in arcane, gaining acess to self quickness in fire is also dangerous, with +25% dmg from might and charging adept trait weaver's dps will be through the roof and weaver already has pretty good dps. Some of the new traits can be made balanced tho but that will require giving them ridicuolus cooldowns which these traits clunky and unreliable.
  9. Yeah, we have some spots left for trainings, anyone who has the build and exotic+ is free to join. We do signup form the day before training and anyone who wants to join can fill himself in. Those who are not sure or can't join because there is no spots left can signup as a "backup" in case someone is not coming
  10. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PGkAw2lZwuYTMJmJOKPWvLA-zRhYRBhVF0JXYmRTUGxVEVmIOcREhEOI2M3xD-e This is what I'm using right now, fire/earth/weaver traitlines, dire/viper/celestial mix. Works like a charm, you've got a sustained 13-14k dps (with self buffs) and very good sustain with 21k hp, huge toughness and defensive focus skills. So far my favorite ele build for openworld, the only major downside is that just like any condi build you need a few sec to ramp up damage and it makes killing single trash mobs take longer than with power build.
