  1. I've had quite fun playing this game before the update and didn't really care about this build template system. I was fine with what we had, but now not having builds switch automatically between PvE/WvW/PvP anymore makes it less fun, so I figured I leave a comment to let you know since you are asking for feedback. Edit: I would be fine with the system if we could at least permanently assign one template to each game mode and have the game automatically swap to it when changing game modes. At least that is the functionality we had in the past but what we got now is just a straight downgrade.
  2. I strongly disagree with this statement. As a pretty casual player I didn't even know third party addons for builds existed and I felt pretty neutral regarding this build template feature. But since it went live it became clear that it is a huge step backwards (apart from the constant crashes even after 3 additional patches). I usually play PVE and a bit of WvW and would have been perfectly fine if what I had stayed the way it is. But hey - now my WvW build is gone and I realize they did not "gift" 3 build slots, they replaced the build choices we had for PVE and WVW with this new system and guess what - it also doesn't automatically switch anymore when you go between PVE, PVP and WvW. So I am now expected to use these new templates and manually switch them every time I want to play the other game mode? How can you call that a "boon"? We had the same 3 build templates before and they automatically switched between game modes, now that's what I call a feature. But maybe that is something that is planned to come in the future as a gem store addon, you'd never know.
  3. I had no such luck. It took support over 7 days to answer my ticket with something to the effect that they are aware of the problem and asking for a bit of patience. Really? After waiting for over a week to hear anything back with the sale long over? That was on the 13th, no update since then but the ticket got closed so I had to open another one which has not been answered yet. Luckily I found this thread on the forum and it seems I am not the only one but I am severely disappointed by the poor communication. I had bought the Ultimate PoF package plus 70Euros in gems after coming back to the game after 4 years absence. That's more than I'd spend on any other game just like that and I am sure I'd heard back from pretty much any developer that cares about their customers. Extra ridiculous because it is a ticket about me actually WANTING to spend money on the in-game gem store, you'd think they would care about paying customers or at least update my fist ticket about the issue being resolved and how I could claim that missed deal via support as it had been suggested in this post. All I wanted was to get back into the game and play the content I had missed before the release of Icebrood Saga when I came back to the game early September but this support case has left a really sour taste and could have been handled much quicker and with clearer communication from Anet. Still not resolved in my case and the issue is known for over 3 weeks.
