I tend to play the "support" role in MMO's. I have a druid, firebrand and now looking at scourge. How do scourge's measure up to druid or firebrand? This is mainly from a PvE standpoint, mostly fractals as we haven't gotten a raid team together yet.

This is sad to me considering I just maxed Druid and planned on it being my main. Is Druid really as useless as this post would suggest, in an unbiased opinion please.

What about boon duration from concentration then?

Just maxed out Druid spec and switched to it permanently. The issue now is I don't have access to Harrier's. Which stats can I gear for that can augment heals and boons until I get Harriers?

In all honesty, I am brand new to the game and Ranger. I had planned to run base Ranger during open world and only run Druid for fractals, dungeons and raids. If this is not ideal and if Druid can do enough DPS to run around in open world then sure, I would appreciate help with a build.

Just got my staff from the Druid spec. The stat choice is Clerics, Minstrels or Nomads. I'm thinking Clerics, would this be correct? Also, I plan to use Transcendence and Concentration sigils. Should I look at something else as well?

I prefer more PvE, ie. Raiding and the such. How does Necro stack up in this aspect?

Hello. I am new to GW2 and have this far REALLY enjoyed the game. So far I have a level 42 Necro and I enjoy him but I am reading a lot that they aren't viable come end game and they don't bring anything to the table. I am looking at rerolling a new class. I have dabbled in Revenant till 17 and was fun. The Mesmer and Engineer peak my curiosity. So as you can see, I am at a crossroad. Please suggest a profession and why. It does not have to be one of the professions I stated. I'm looking for options. Please note, this is strictly PvE and MAYBE a little WvW. I want viability and utility in endgame. I am not interested in not being able to find a group come endgame. With that being said I also want to be able to solo quite well. I do not enjoy structured PvP. Thanks and see yall in game.
