  1. A reduced map cap will destroy any possibility of getting your friends in with you to play. Even with the current limits it's difficult and a lot of coordination has to be done outside of game to schedule days/times certain guilds run and who runs on what map because of how many people are trying to play.
  2. Just to reiterate that this isn't just a WvW problem. You can watch the server struggling to keep even a SAB lobby map stable. But the multiple server connections in WvW just exacerbates the problem even more. Its also kinda silly looking at the pings of the server connections that are all in the same data center yet vary 100-200ms between one another.
  3. Date/Time: 06Mar2020 7pmMap: Dragonbrand Alpine BorderlandsCharacter: Khisanth Draketooth, lvl 80 Charr Herald.Description: When entering the water with herald facets running (with an aquatic set that includes herald) and then exiting the water, passive effects of facets no longer activate. It may require you to transition to the surface (which disables all abilities). I wouldn't be surprised if signets on all classes also have a similar problem.Gif of the bug
  4. Okay, thank you for the clarification then, though seems kinda weird that you can purposely keep nodes at a lower level to be able to harvest more.
  5. Date/Time: 25/26/27Feb2020Map: Windswept Haven (The Charr Empire) & Lost Precipice (Bamboozled Again)Character: Khisanth Draketooth, lvl 80 Charr Herald.Description: As of the 25Feb patch, guild hall harvest nodes now seem to be put on cooldown globally. Before I could enter different guild halls (also note that they were in different regions), and harvest the nodes from each hall. Now, whether I enter a guild hall with few guild nodes, or enter a guild hall with all of them, after harvesting all nodes in the first hall for the day, the nodes in the other hall are already on cooldown.
  6. I also experience this (I case the amount of comments brings more attention to a bug) - originally mentioned it here: https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/discussion/98695/25feb2020-patch-chaotic-release-cooldown-unchanged
  7. I get this problem as well (both before and after the latest big balance patch). When the build templates were first introduced, it was also a problem, it was patched and worked fine for a while, but at some point returned. It seems to only occur each launch of the game (I can fix all templates and they'll be fine from then on until I restart the game), and I can occasionally on rev get two abilities in a slot rather than the skills swapping. Because I see the tiles animate for the two problem abilities, I have to assume either the build system first loads a default order and then unreliably fixes the user desired order, or there is faulty data where there is a skill in the wrong slot and the order in which skills swap is unreliable (or just outright fails like below):
  8. Date/Time: 25Feb2020 9pm PSTMap: Dragonbrand Desert BorderlandsCharacter: Khisanth Draketooth, lvl 80 Charr Herald.Description: Tooltip in game and patchnotes note that Chaotic Release cooldown should now be 35s, but when the ability is cast, it is actually still 45s. It is unlikely this is the only ability unchanged by the patch, so please take some time to confirm that abilities actually do what the tooltip states they should do. Should I notice others, I will make a new thread.
  9. I have figured out my crashing problem. If the game is crashing for you on startup, and you use MSI Afterburner (or just Riva Tuner Statistics Server directly), either close MSI Afterburner (specifically RTSS which MSI Afterburner utilizes), or create a profile specifically for the GW2-64.exe to use Custom Direct3D support. The latest update seems to have changed the engine's Direct3D implementation causing the D3D9.dll crash. Setting for Custom Direct3DSupport for RTSS on Imgur
  10. Game is also crashing on launch for me. I just see the cursor turn to a hand for a moment and then it crashes before I even see the login screen. Tried a repair without success. Tried deleting the gw2 cache in temp without success. Tried updating video drivers without success. Tried a reinstall of the game (tried leaving appdata config and wiping it out) without success. Event viewer points to d3d9.dll (in System32 - ARCDPS or any mods are not installed) as the faulting module but I do not see any crash logs in GuildWars2 appdata.
