Run as administrator. Uncheck the auto login. Wait for about 5 minutes before pressing play. Worked for me

I still hear the guild wars 2 background music from the first desktop if i do that.

When i run Guild wars 2, it will not show on screen and I only hear the background music. It’s only in the tab selection and you cannot exit from it. I’ve had to restart my pc every time.
