I think the fish Gods or Anet were listening because I actually caught this $%@$@#$ fish soon after I posted this. So it does, in fact, exist. It's just not an easy one to catch -- and that's putting it very mildly. Good luck to the rest of you with this VERY Obscure fish.

I have caught all the fish required in the SOTO release with the exception of one: the Obscure Fish. We are told it can be caught in Astral fishing holes, during the day, preferably with Lightning Bugs. I have fished for this critter, unsuccessfully, since the expansion dropped. My question is simple: Does the Obscure fish exist? Has anyone caught this fish to prove it's existence in the game? Someone please let me know because I'm losing my marbles over this silly fish!

in this part of the story, I was fighting several enemies on a platform. Toward the finish of this fight, I was pushed/fell off the platform. Rather than letting myself die from the fall, I automatically summoned my skyscale and tried to return to the platform. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in reaching the platform again. I decided to log out and log back in, hoping I would be auto-returned to the fight on the platform. However, later I realized I would have had to die in order to respawn on the platform. In any event, my progress is now stuck at some unknown point in Part 2. My only clue is the log says: "Find your way to safety. *Get your bearings. Again." The green star for the story points me to the locked gate for the Wizard's Tower. I've done the events to unlock the gate and have gotten to the Wizard's Tower. Unfortunately, none of this seems to be progressing my story. Help ANET, I've fallen (from a platform) and I can't get up. Please advise how to restart my story. I have already Quit the episode and restarted it once, only to return to the same state, with the same notations in the log for the episode. Please help.

I've been to Orr more times than I can count trying to catch that stupid dusk/dawn octopus! I've stayed there through several dusk/dawn sessions all day, trying to get that dang fish. I've worked to build my stacks to the max over and over again (solo I might add) again and again, only to have a tiny window to catch Mr. You Ain't Never Gonna Catch Me giant octopus. I did this solid for the past weekend and I'm ready to murder that fish. So much for the idea of fishing as relaxation! Somebody told me they caught theirs in Cursed Shore, so I switched from the Straits to there. Still nuffin'. Orr is all I have remaining for the CSAMM title and that stupid freaking fish is all I have left for the Orr fish, so that I can turn around and repeat avid Orr (gawd help me!!). Please fix this hell of a drop nightmare before I go on an octopus killing spree all over Tyria.

I, like the others, have all three previous contracts and bought the new one when it became available. Aside from one recognizable delivery on one day, I have not received any more deliveries for the leather sections I chose. I suppose I should file a ticket for this because I do not understand why I am not receiving those deliveries as other people seem to be. The deliveries of the three previous contracts continue on smoothly. Would sure be nice to start receiving what I paid for. :)

I am having this same problem. I have played and replayed this episode. I have fought and refought infinite mobs. I have gotten Kralk's torment down to near the end, yet there it stops. He cannot be targeted and you just keep getting the same mobs spawning over and over. I tried purposely dying to get it to send me back for a retry. That took a while since Aurene keeps rez'ing me. I finally logged to get out of the instance, in hopes it would shake loose whatever bug was stopping the progression to the end of this story. I've been doing this for at least the past couple of hours. We now have Bound By Blood, yet we can't finish this portion of LW4?! Help, please.
