  1. You provided me an option that costs 160g for a problem that I could spend ~50g to craft an ascended zerker longbow. What I wanted to know is if I'm doing something wrong and if the legendary armory going to help, what you proposed helped me with nothing and for whatever reason called me "cheap."
  2. No thanks. Buying a 160 gold worth of gems for a "convinience" of replacing one weapon slot sounds like a waste of money.
  3. I have a very specific issue with how templates handle my legendary longbow. I have 2 templates: one for general pve with full berserker, second is for WvW with a mix of zerker and marauder. I use my leggo as berserker in both scenarios, with the same sigils and infusions, but the moment I unequip it from one of the templates for a strike mission - it cleanses it of any upgrades that were slotted, making it a tedious process of re-slotting everything once I'm done with my dailies, even thou the other template has those very same upgrades stored in it. Am I doing something wrong? Why does it offer me a "clean" once I remove it, instead of the variant from the second template? Will legendary armory assist it this case or should I just stop bothering myself and craft a second, ascended longbow?
  4. I've not delved deep into every class, but kitten, Marksmanship minor traits are vitually non-existant for 98% of the time/fights. Even with "Remorseless" trait - it still gimmicky, considering it only affects one next hit, and ranger's arsenal is mostly comprised of multi-hit abilities, the only "one-hard-hit" abilities that come to mind are Maul and Worldly Impact. Not to mention that Opening Strike takes anywhere from 3 to 10 seconds to re-activate once you leave combat, making it even more useless. Am I missing something?
  5. Why is camps geometry not fixed in 8+ years of WvW existing? Why does a flat terrain returns an "Obstructed" message when I'm playing any projectile weapon. It is so frustrating that a 10 degree angle on a flat surface can negate your entire skillset.
  6. This sucks, spent couple of days decking out my guard with ascended armors and weapons only to find out that my favourite skill doesn't have a bite anymore.
  7. The damage of the ability is still miniscule, or the tooltip is incorrect. Either way - it barely deals 50 damage on critical hit, to either a mob in WvW map or to player.
  8. I hadn't played guardian in a very long time, grabbed it as my good ol' staple for roaming. At first I didn't even noticed it doesn't deal anywhere close the damage it used to, wiki says the damage coefficient got axed by ~80%... this sucks. Was there any explanation from design team on why was it hit with such a hard nerf after being a hard-hitter for eight years?
  9. I might be out of loop, but aren't those immobs come from "roots" that grasp the enemy and can be physically destroyed with a melee swing? I can't stand warrior for some reason, I've tried playing it maybe 3 or 4 times - just doens't "click" with me. And warrior's LB looks like a condition weapon, might be wrong tho. Dragonhunter LB is very versatile, imo, autoattack velocity is terrible tho, but everything else is quite good. I mean, why a 45s cd can be cast in half a second, deal decent damage AND create 5 knockback barriers, but asking for a Barrage's cooldown, cast time, damage and uptime to be reduced to make it more versatile is a so controversial.
  10. You don't have to, half of it are some people bickering about the term "ranger." How in the world are you going to hold anyone in roots for 5-6 secodns to full cast a Barrage and then wait for it to deal it's full damage? Agree on cc-abilities damage nerf, idiotic. It is boring as hell thou, I tried deadeye's rifle - hell, it's overloaded for sure, but atleast it has a toolkit to both engage with cripple/roots and grants you swiftness, it has barriers to fight pesky LB rangers, it has a good (althou costly) disengage, albeit - it has 0 aoe aside from pierce, but all in all it feels powerful, even if it gets countered very hard sometimes. And then we have ranger's LB with a 10s cooldown on RF plus unreliable, and frankly risky Barrage.
  11. ... Really? What else can it be? It doesn't have a single innate damaging condition. It doesn't pump out supportive boons to your allies. It doesn't have an abundance of powerful cc's outside one knockback on a hefty cooldown. I've described my gripes with barrage - it does deal alot of damage, but most of it goes to waste as anyone will just walk or roll out of it before the first hit will land. I don't understand why people are so up in arms in defending an outdated design that never accounted all the changes that followed in over eight years. The bloody Point-Blank Shot used to be able to down wounded targets because it dealt damage, the idiotic (imo) design of removing damage from cc abilities resulted in leaving LB with 2 "damage dealing" abilties.
  12. Do enlighten me what use does it have outside of clearing camps and closing chokepoints? If opponent has atleast 1 braincell - he will move out of it long before the first tick of damage is going to occur. And don't give me that nonsense about RF being "giga-ability", with the amount of reflects/evades/blocks that are baked into elite specs - the only target you will ever take out with an RF is a full zerker that is unaware of your presence. I do however agree that when paired with OWP it hits hard, but still - opponent must be brain-dead or caught with no cooldowns to fall to such a basic combo.
  13. I take my words back, talking to a wall is far more fruitful than trying to make you understand the issues I'm describing. In your mind a brain-dead, one-trick weapon - is a good design. Neither of us is going to gain anything from this discussion, have fun.
  14. Pretty much talking to wall, aren't I? What bloody purpuse does it have? What does it "do very well"? Allows brain-dead gameplay of "11111" spam from 1,500 range?
