  1. There should never be a time without an event if that is the only realistic way to complete hearts.
  2. They realized that something needed to be done to make under water more enjoyable. Then locked that behind a huge gold (and or time) sink as discouragement.
  3. Could Contrast and Color Accessibility be something to learn in the future? Especially with encounter design to avoid stacking the same color over an environment that lacks enough contrast. Still not a fan of partial map releases.
  4. I should preface this with saying I believe stealth has no place in competitive gameplay. For open world I really miss rune of the trapper on my ranger. Relics are boring. Having fewer choices is boring. Removing all of the fun stuff effects makes it worse. I understand how things don't match up in some of the different game types, but at least let us have the old fun bonuses in open world.
  5. Please don't try another single meta across a multiple extension map. You struggle with pacing and by the time we get the last portion it is easy to be burned out on the first parts.
  6. I would like to unlock the skins but it isn't worth suffering through that many rifts. It wouldn't be so bad if you could earn resources (even at a lower rate) through other means of open world to make it less likely to cause burnout. Maybe a Jade Bot Module to earn some currency from champions and world bosses that can be used to buy essence.
  7. They have categories for pvp, wvw, and pve. Why not add a 4th option for Activities?

  9. It isn't giving credit even if you are on that part of the story. Please let the fix give us credit for already doing it since it consumed our mats. (not all of us enjoy farming rifts with such low rewards and wasting more time traveling than fighting)
  10. I had no clue the dot appeared until reading this. It took some testing to realize my character's white cape made the dot impossible to see.
  11. It feels like more time is spent traveling between rifts than actually fighting them.
  12. If all I care about is min and max performance, then you are right. There are parts of the game where that can matter. But many of the bonuses they removed were fun and or helpful to use in open world. They added a little flavor to how we played. It was nice not feeling like I was using a raid build all the time. The current batch of relics may be good for performance (when I am in group content) but they are mostly boring when it comes to open world.
  13. The wind effect needs more color contrast for some of us. I though it was visual noise because the first few times it was always moving the same direction.
  14. Maybe try a little empathy? It's a simple as that. For new and (many) casual players those freebies are a good thing. For people burnt out on daily chores, they could log in (keep in touch with the game) and make minor progression for when they are ready to play again. On a single account it takes a long time for the login rewards to add up to something valuable. The entire problem is how difficult it is to get some of those items outside of the login reward system. For a company that loves to create new currency they refused to address that the login reward was more efficient than any other means to get some of the items. Which lead to the more serious players farming the most efficient option available. If the value of coins crashed to a few silver do you think anyone would care enough to farm logins on multiple accounts? Maybe increase the laurel cost on some of the sellable materials if really concerned about those prices. The new bottleneck would probably be spirit shards for anyone wanting to make legendaries, which would indirectly encourage people to go do things that earn xp.
  15. The system is so bad I can't help but wonder if the plan is get us fired up over the lack of choices so we focus less on the battle pass style kitten. Then send out a patch explaining how they listen and care.
