  1. At this point, I would rather them honestly just finishing up Dominion of Winds and releasing it in some form, expansion, or event , or anything. Since Tengu were originally planned at the start, and I can't say for certain, but they pretty much share the same body rig as the char, a bit modified. Just like how Norn are just basically Large humans and Sylvari are Cabbage Patch humans. I don't think the actual work to make the race is that hard itself since the assets are there and they probably have an in engine character creator for all the races to save time on adding models into the game. The challenge comes more from everything else. Costs of VA for one, and animating a new rig, having to add a new personal story, leveling map from 1-30. I would honestly say as a compromise, to add more race combat tonics. I still enjoy using the Kodan one on my Norn from time to time. I would just wish we can use them on mounts and have some added dodge animations. I mean if they REALLY wanted to, they can make them and add them to the Gem Shop. If they're going to put time into making and selling you EMOTES, the least they do is add Combat tonics. Doesn't even just have to be a race. I'm sure people would love to play as some of the in game characters. Ferin, Tybalt, Cannoc, Tiami, or Braham (lol)
  2. Something I've noticed is that the Decade Weapons is heavily tied to the shaders option in the graphic settings, which I cannot think of any other weapon that relies on that. So if you have say your shader option on low, there are basically no textures on the weapon and it looks like a brown hunk of junk. Very odd choice, given that even legendaries are not super effected by this. I wonder if that is just a bug or an oversight on the weapons itself.
  3. I disliked it at first but the more I played it the more I enjoyed the exploration and the hidden things that made it feel like a sense of discovery and being rewarded for finding that hidden cove. for 100%-ing the map, yea I totally agree its a pain. But the actual map outside of it is really nice, and has my favorite meta from the expansion. I wish NKC had more hidden things like that outside from the vault.
  4. I'm stuck on 5/6 as well. I stopped bothering because I've maxed out EoD MP so far. I was able to complete Looking Back (pre-fix) before I was able to complete The Six, and that's something.
  5. This map makes no sense. On one hand you have people who are out and about fishing, map completion, story, events for MP's achievements Jade farming... and then you have a Meta that requires a full map of people maxed out doing events consistently, prepping and then starting the thing, and some things are locked and unable to do until you complete the meta. Both of these things do NOT mix together, and is causing a clash between the people who want to do the meta and people who want to just do the map. The Meta itself is fine for what it is leading up to it and the mechanics are fine, however the whole thing just needs major tweaks. At least, remove the event requirements leading up to the event and attach the boost by 2% at the end of each red event, so you get the boost WHILE doing the event and not an hour leading up to it before, as a start.
  6. I tried to do a roller beetle race with one with someone feeding me the boost in the backseat... I didn't win by ANY means, but uh I did give it a shot. It's basically a shoulder shrug of a mount.
  7. The Crazy part is that the story version of that fight is actually amazing . Which makes parts of this meta even more upsetting. I would say that 45% of that fight is animations 2% of it is dialog queues cutting out or sound like its cycling through the mechanics, confused on what mechanic its actually going to do, and the rest is the actual fight. I'd say tweak the Meta, and you guys can always add a version of the boss fight as a strike mission, tailored to the original vision, if you really wanted to.
  8. Jade Bot Mini Pet Since the current one we have is tied to animations. It would be cool to have one as a mini pet that floats beside you. I'm rather surprised one isn't in the game already, as a collection reward or something for finishing all the Jade Bot Masteries. I hope they do add on in the future.
  9. Oh well that makes sense *smacks head* its a Social event! Here I thought we're supposed to get together and fight a dragon, instead, we're just supposed to all Roleplay it to death. I think a lot of us don't even care about the turtle at this point. I think most of us just want to be able to complete it. Too many 20%-1% losses.
  10. Canach got that fresh drip going on ,Rama is an interesting Kung Lao and Akane is our inner selves at work. 10/10 game.
  11. What it should have been is something like the Mini pets, where if there is too many people on the map it turns off. Also have the ability to toggle it on and off. Or, depending on how the engine lets them get away with it. Make it so only you can see your Own bot.
  12. I was on an extremely well coordinated map, and we managed to get the boss down to 1%. Everyone just trying to push that last 1% and then the dragon does the spin move which wasted 7 seconds and for the last 4-5 seconds that 1% did not drop and we failed. Either increase the time of the fight. or adjust the phases at 25% health instead of 20% health. The visuals need to be looked into as well. There is no way this was tested and everyone playing was getting a decent frame rate. Parts of it was a slide show mess.
  13. The 10 people who decided to Craft a Legendary underwater item will be so pleased!
  14. I think the Jade bots is the most interesting Mastery Track for features. It does have potential, even to add future ideas later on. It's like the looked at the Mag from PSO and thought of a way to make them useful, and I'm all for it.
  15. If I was to hazard a guess I'd say It would be on 02/22/2022, Which is a Tuesday, which falls in line with their patch updates and such.
  16. I'm probably going to make a shield. Then reskin it back to the Ghastly skin I use now.
  17. The Skiff is designed so you can plop your siege mount on it and have a 3 man war boat to shoot at all those fishing from the docs. One of the Mastery Points will unlock Ride of the Valkyries, so you can decimate in style.
  18. The only time I ever check AP points is in Fractals, Generally, anyone with 6k AP or over I feel have a bit more grasp on player mechanics, so when doing fractals it won't feel like you have to babysit those players. I have taken people under 5k before and the results were...mixed. It's not to say that having LOW AP makes you a bad player, just that the more things you've accomplished, the more understanding of the mechanics overall since the game rewards you for doing stuff. Raids maybe? It's the only content I've never done personally, so I can't speak out on that if there is an AP check.
  19. The turtle underwater should be looked into. Either that means unlimited jump jets until it gets out of water or controls like a slower skimmer underwater. Depending on how far you go down, only 2 ways to get to the top with the turtle currently, is either the Number 7 skill to recharge or hop onto a higher underwater land piece, wait for recharge, and repeat.
  20. If you ask me it's the Divinity's Reach decorative guidelines committee who is out of date! If it was a team of Asurans on the job, they would have forgone the Watch Knight Mark II and replaced them with the Golem Mark II's instead! Outrage I tells ya!
  21. I'm quite content with how it all looks. I can select the character I'm looking to play with out having to scroll and it just makes everything look more organized. Kudos!
  22. more pants for light, less coats for medium and less bulky armours for heavy.
  23. My only thing with the character select screen ( personal gripe) is that there is clearly enough space at the bottom for me to view all my characters, as I have 1 of each class but the screen will only show 7 at a time before you need to click over. IIRC, GW1 all characters where viewable along the bottom and you would just need to mouse over the edge and it would auto scroll to the left or right. Since each major expansion, the select screen changes a bit. So hopefully this could change a bit. Not the end of the world, but would be nice to increase the bottom limit until physical space runs out below. As for the Beta slots. I do prefer them at the back. As another poster mention, it makes sense to put them up front in order for people to participate, but in front, it looks VERY out of place. Specially with how the current select screen looks. As far as people not knowing about the beta though, it only takes you maybe less than an hour tops after logging in before you bump into someone with a BETA tag off to the side. So its just a matter of logging out to character select and looking.
  24. I think the biggest issue I've always had is how they really don't explain the break bar, specially when people keep yelling CC! CC! in chat, like that is supposed to click in someone's mind. I've always thought they should add a light blue line around any skill that can damage the break bar( kind of like how in your inventory there are colours which represent the rarity around the box), which I feel would help translate to people who have no idea what actually helps. Yes it can be added in the tool tips as well but, how many people are really reading the tool tips while trying to fight a boss which requires you to break the bar?
