I noticed that the lighting used in the character selection screen is not the lighting you would expect if you look at the new background. I looks like the lighting is based of the Path of Fire character selection screen

I think it all depends on the cosmetics of a race. Lore wise, it might be a good combo to be a Elementalist as a Asura, but the cosmetics are horrible imo, same goes for Elementalist Norn.

Im not that good in figuring out of these are good or not! I hope this gives low level players or not experienced players a change to enjoy wvw

Yesterday I had latency problems in Dragons Stance map (HoT). I noticed a lot of people having problems. When I logged out of to Character screen and then logged back in to the map, the majority of the people probably did the same cause the map was empty (only the commander was still there so I knew this was the same world instance).Ping rose over 9000 (no pun intended). I also had problems in Rata Sum, where ping went up to 800+

It feels like capes start from the upper back instead of the neck region. It bothers me for some reason. Maybe thats why AN had so much trouble implementing capes? Cause the neck region is an issue?

I just returned aswell and I'm really surprised at how many people still play this game. World meta events are still attracting a lot of people.
