Less but better, so checking your drops is a thing again. I mean who playing GW2 ever gives notice to your drops unless it's your first day. We all know what it's going to be well before it drops. I keep the loot to the end of the day were I take a quick look and it's shocking how worthless most of it is. A day wasted.

I don't get this at all. I have been deleting and making new characters since the war, and do you know how long it takes me to make a new and interesting name for myself? Around 2 seconds. So of what use would it be to upset people just because they took a break? If you really want the name 'Mary Poppins' then just change it a little but I'm sure you can think of another.

Yeah keep the lip movement and text, just make my character silent. Being silent doesn't mean they are silent. I can hear their voice as clear as day in my head and it's perfect. I find I can always connect better with my character when they are without voice acting. Like I say, it's the main reason I will not play some of the races and genders.

The one reason I won't play some races and genders is because I really dislike the voice acting. So I would request that you would consider giving us a option in future patches to silence our characters? You will never find a voice that pleases all but with a silent protagonist your character will always speak with the perfect voice.

If the story in GW2 was a a quarter that of FF14 the game would up it's game considerably. For me the story in GW2 is the worst aspect of the game and it shouldn't be. If your going to introduce a story then at least make it interesting and meaningful. Not some half baked hogwash that doesn't relate to anything but dribble. The FF14 story has you feel the hero, you are a hero, and I never get fed-up with people telling me I'm the best thing since sliced bread. GW2 I feel anything but a hero. I'm a woke plonker with ideals coming out off my kitten but zero substance. In GW2 your character is a unfunny joke.

For me one of the gigantic pluses of GW2 is that you are free to play solo or with friends. It never pushes you one way or the other apart from promoting WvW and PvP quite a lot. But, you are never forced or even feel the need to change the way you play. My guild has a lot going on and I'm sure they would help me if I needed it. It's always good to have that choice/backup, so finding a good guild is a priority.

I hope they don't bother with a LW story for EOD. No more torture please. Just sell us any extra maps that would go with it and dump any plans for a story.. If you could call it a story. To me it's more like very bad dungeon content.

I greatly prefer the old maps and content over the new so as much as I would love for them to overhaul it I wouldn't like them to change any of the mechanics for the new. like the horrible detection range and swamping of trash mobs. which just makes the game that less enjoyable. The old stuff is more inline with a fantasy world. The new stuff however is more in tune with a cluster kitten.

I always thought that DX12 was a way to blackmail you into joining windows 10. Nothing more. We will probably see DX13 for windows 11. In the end DX12 is kitten.

Not sure if it's my imagination but I'm seeing less and less people dressed like Christmas trees and more people wearing none flashing armour. And they are looking good. Anet are not going to give up the flashy stuff, it makes money, but if the community says NO to this garbage we will get there without Anets involvement It's simple. Don't buy or wear anything that lights up or spews stuff. Keep it clean and use your imagination to make your character unique. The best looking gear is already in the game none flashy and it's free.

All these currencies are way out of hand, and what for? To force people to play certain maps? Same with all the different kinds of magic, it's kitten. Sorry dev's but it's not fun or interesting, it's another frustration pill. You see loot drops are boring and restrictive not because of the quantity but the items themselves. They really need to shake it up seeing how all of us spend most of our game time chasing loot of one sort or another.

Corrr! Do I loves level 80 boosts. From tramp to king just like that, but must agree with OP, it only being right that vets don't dip out on the deal. It can't be that hard to give some sort of trade in.

Level 80 boost is the way to go. Kitten the story it's kitten. Level 80 allows you to get above the BS and opens up the world for you. Some say don't boost, learn your class. To this I say poppy kok. You learn better when your hands, feet, and kitten aren't tied to a level tree.

You can yes. At lowest everyone is in basic gear but still have the shiny's on their backs. Looks weird. That aside I can't stand GW2 boss fights or their mechanics, not fun in the slightest. If I am going to raid I want it to be fun and exciting, even nail biting. There is none of that in GW2 boss fights. You have to remember that all bosses under 2000 feet tall are disco balls. You can't beat the holy trinity in boss fights, you just can't
