  1. So, I was doing Deimos. All went well till it's 10% hp phase. Ping jumped up, game froze for few minutes then kicked me back into character select. After re-entering the map, I was welcomed by Saul cutscene, Deimos defeated. Unluckilly, I recieved no loot. Though "well, I just have to re-play it". Apparently, this kill still counts sooo, I'm left without Li and kp. I don't expect anything to be done about it, treat it just as a lil info that, if you unluckilly crash before raid boss dies, don't enter the map. Maybe then you could replay it.
  2. Can't do it solo so, I want to do the "Outnumber Strat" for my sanity's sake. Anyone who could help and when, preferably for them ? Edit: Got help with first two, then fearless with tank guard and Zealot Flame so he had commited suicide lol
  3. From yesterday afternoon I have an issue with opening the maps. Guild Wars 2 launcher opens normally, I can log in without issues. Character select window loads properly, I can see the models but when I'm trying to use any of my characters, none at all can load on the map. In rare cases, maps do load but only for a minute before "disconnecting from the server". I did lowered my graphics settings to the lowest - no effect Though, it might be arcdps again, deleted - no effect Classic, turned my laptop on and off - no effect Ran gw2-repair tool twice - no effect Just in case closed my anti-virus thinking it might started blocking connection - no effect Updated NVidia drivers - no effect Windows update (note, done after map issues occured) - no effect So I though, maybe it's my internet. But after checking on LoL, War Thunder, scribble.io, agar.io and youtube it seems not. They worked fine. And afterall, Guild Wars 2 launcher does open, I can log in, character select window loads, only the maps refuse to connect with the server. Game is downloaded almost fully, just 23K files left... Funny enough, I did played Guild Wars 2 yesterday in the morning. Game worked perfectly fine. No crashes, no packet losses. Closed also without crashing. And on afternoon, every single time error said that connection with the server was lost when trying to play. As I can't see anyone else posting about similiar issue, seems it's just me, unluckilly. But I ran out of ideas what the "fork" is going on.
  4. Cleared W1 - W4 fully at least once, have kp as proof. Did not bothered with W5 - 7 So far I'm comfortable with Power Reaper and Heal/Quickness/Tank Firebrand Avaliable every day usually at evenings, from 19:00 CEST to midnight I'm simply looking for people with who I could complete raids in more casual manner, aka no rage if it's not first time clear
  5. I swear somewhere I heard that "Envoy Armor I: Experimental Armor" is required to create legendary sets but as far as I understood from wiki, leggies are unlocked after second achievment. I confused myself.
  6. Ok so, here are some tips form player that just began raids 1 week ago: 1. Pick your class not because of how strong in raid it is, but because you know it quite well, and are comfortable using. Though, it would be better to have some diversity. DPS players are very easy to find, while searching for support like HQFB or Dudu might be a problem, might not. So if you're comfortable using, for example, Berserker and Chronomancer, prepare yourself for situations where you either use Berserker to help with dps, or chronomancer to tank the damage cause no one else is willing to for some reason. Then, check out snowcrows.com for it's meta build. Exotic is easy to afford and good enough to push trough, ascended aren't necessary. 2. Train your combo on the golem in training area till you don't mess it up. If you can execute it on stationary target, you could do it on moving target too, well, not with 100% accurracy for sure but at least, most of it. Aim to hit at least 80% DPS of the benchmark of class you're playing. 3. What I also noticed is an issue, not every player bothers to read how the bosses work or at least watches youtube guide for it. For the love of god, sacroffice that 30 minutes to read the page about, for example, wing 1 on metabattle, or 20 minutes long video from MightyTeapot. You need to know for what kind of mechanics you have to prepare for, at least, should. 4. If you did points 1 - 3, time to get into raid. How ? Aim for wing 1 - 3 as they're quite simple, starting from wing 4 - 6 is a bad bad bad idea... Then, there's group. From my adventures/mistakes, I would say there are 3 ways: First: Offer to make a learning group for everyone. Worst possible option as I quickly found out, but the one that finds players the quickest. With that, you're exposing yourself to players that did not watched even a single vid about the raid you're trying to approach and will have to explain the mechanics by yourself before each fight. Chances to clear the wing or get stuck on first boss are, 50%/50%. You either suffer out of feeling generous, or because of being a masochist. Example how to announce it on LFG: W1 | All bosses | For learning | Everyone welcome Second: Create training group. Less painfull option to start the raid. With this you have to state that, you're expecting players who took their own time to read about wing you're approaching. But if they're telling the truth or are lying, you will discover from how often they mess up boss mechanics or how quickly they end up killed. Example how to announce it on LFG: W1 | All bosses | Training, no KP or LI needed, but know mechanics | Alac + Dudu + HFB + PDPS + CDPS Third: Use this way after you've defeated raid wing at least once. In here, you expect players that not only know mechanics, but also own KP to prove they had really defeated these bosses, or just ask about LI count as proof they did some raid at least. Both ways have flaws anyway. KP can be faked as, bosses don't drop single "guild decoration" but 1-5. It can be also earned from joining groups that skipped some of the bosses. LI's can be earned from any wing, so someone might have 10 LI but never did wing 3 before, for example. Example how to announce it on LFG: W1 | All bosses | 1 KP or at least 5 LI | Chrono + Alac + Dudu + Warrior + HQFB + PDPS + CDPS Raids are not as hard as they seem, you just have to use your own time to learn boss mechanics, and which classes would prove usefull for specific wing. Like, for Wing 1 you need a tank, but in Wing2 tank is useless. Also, as a person commanding the group, you will be tasked with assigning roles. For example, you will be responsible in wing 2 to mark mushrooms, then find volunteers willing to transforms into larva, and slowly eat the path for the team. Or in wing 4 assign who's going to kite Deimos aoe's and who's going to tank his AA. Anyways, that's how my experience looks, and so far it just works lol. Good luck mate !
  7. Ah arlighty. Thanks for answers. About crit, not really. I only haven't used consumables, and at that time, had 5/6 scholar runes. And, brought golem only to 60%.
  8. Other than the presence of "benchmark" being threw around when seeking for raid, I also see some that require, for example, "hitting at least 90% of the benchmark". How, do I even know if my character did hit it, or not ? Here's example benchmark from my punching the golem in the training area https://prnt.sc/181x78r Snowcrows.com claims that DPS Reaper should do at least around 34K dps. So if I was supposed to do at least 90% of it, where do I look ?
  9. Imagine playing WvW for gold... You earn form either doing daily crafting, or pve like Drizzlewood Coast meta, Dragonfall meta, or good 'ol Silverwastes meta. Or if you're lazy, go farm Karkas, even tho you need like, 2h (with full group that can spam condi) to get 250 Karka Shells and earn something.
  10. I know I know, support Firebrand is meta but I do not give a damn about it, all I want to do is just bully some players on WvW that run away from their zergs... My character have his entire armour ascended with berserker stats and Superior rune of the Eagle, even all the trinkets and backpack are ascended with berserker stats. For weapons, I'm using Greatsword - Sword/Shield. But to the point. I feel like my character is kinda, squishy. I want to fix that a bit. I was considering changing to Rune of the Durability however I heard that if I wouldn't run with zergs, that would not be so effective. So, any ideas what rune I could try to survive a bit longer an encounter 1v1 or 1v2 ?
  11. So, first thing I saw when my journey in this game began, was this Battleground Plaza. Then elemental golems that were kinda dissapointing in their design, so, I've decided to create 3D models of how I imagine them. I did as much as my actuall modeling knowledge allows me to do. I spent many weeks just thinking how could they look, be kinda related to element they use, and how could I make them look cool... So, here they are, I present to you: AER-0000https://prnt.sc/pxvujy HY-5000https://prnt.sc/pxvv01 KA-1080https://prnt.sc/pxvvie RCK-7550https://prnt.sc/pxvvvk
