  1. For pvp, probably something like this: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?POAFkMFbYZBsVGLzj5iH3kfUrEznG-DaJsMysC6NF84XAAA For WvW I think maces on roaming are meh and zerg might be something like this:http://gw2skills.net/editor/?POwEkEmpsCGCLktwKxjbyrVWi9vC-DWJYjRHfhkZFUdIkeC471BW8bzCA-w
  2. Did you just complain about Anet nerfing to slow and too fast in one post?
  3. Relics that adjust playstyle of a build, by increasing/adding value to certain aspect of a build, applying an additional mechanic or giving boons on an action. They do not make a core of an entire build, like the quickness/alac idea.
  4. I'm fine with condi being boosted by relics, but slow on a CC skill is pretty much a waste.
  5. They've removed them, cause they were too accessible in PvP/WvW. The impact of those two, when on 100% uptime is simply too huge power boost. I also it seems to go against their vision of what relics are supposed to be.
  6. Seems like a lot more work and a lot of weapons don't have right design for it, so I doubt Anet would go for it.
  7. What do selectable skills even mean in the context of other classes.
  8. The fact that Mace is in Ambidexterity and not Strider's Strength, is so kitten funny.
  9. In a group content (fractals, raids, strikes...) boons are provided by support and boon dps. By QZ issue basically mean that it provides something that you are not supposed to take care of. If you use Spotter to give fury, while your team already has full uptime, it does nothing. I should mention, usual team consists of 1 alacrity and 1 quickness provider (one is a support and pne is a dps) and 3 DPS. As a regular dps your only job is doing damage. Lastly, you can use longbow in the build I linked. It would probably be a good idea to read some guides to get some ideas and make your own version.
  10. Open world can be done with anything, so I'm gonna explain and adjust with the group content in mind. In gw2, you go all in for the role you pick. In PvE if you play power dps, you use power, precision and ferocity (berserker gear+you can mix in assassins), for condi dps, you need condi damage and expertise and usually power and precision to add some more damage (viper gear), heal support uses healing power and concentration and usually power to add some damage (harrier gear+givers/magi mixed in). All defence on dps, comes from dodge, other players and sometimes skills (if there are free slots in the build). No need for other stats, since it would reduce your roles effectiveness. Now your build. Now your build. Skills: -Moa stance is ok if someone ask for it, but otherwise it's not helping with dps or survival. -Signet of the Hunt does nothing really. -Quickening Zephyr has use in puzzles, but not in combat, since your quickness dps/support should have quickness covered. -Strength of the Pack is useful if you need personal stab, but the rest should be covered like QZ. Traits: -Marksmanship is fine as preference and traits picked are ok. Beastmastery is usually better, but you want to go in and out of merge, so it loses some value. -Skirmishing, 1st trait is fine, 2nd spotter has QZ issue, 3rd is fine. -Soulbeast, 1st and 2nd are preference in my opinion, due to negligible DPS changes, 3rd is fine. This is the usual power Soulbeast, so you can use it as reference. Frost trap is flexible slot. Hammer uses unleashed 2 and 4. http://gw2skills.net/editor/?POxAceJlZwAZXsNmJW6X6v6CEfA-DSIYR09XG1mCVUV2eLAAA-e
  11. The easiest way to see who's right, is a 1v1. Just saying.
  12. Removing the entire mechanic is pretty much impossible. Too much coding nightmare and balance readjusting for Anet and kills the entire class for a lot of players.
  13. It's not bad, but also not too good. It's kinda hard to explain. (also there is not really an alternative to it) The aoe works really well for dealing damage, when combined with one of rangers multi-applied roots, that's true. The bigger issue I have is the 4th skill. What I mean is, people mostly complain, because they prefer how the old sword worked (for some reason). Personally I think it's way better, both mechanically and even more so damage wise.
  14. Let's be honest, you make up for the torch with your skill, than torch being good. As for the other things, druid was nerfed but not as hard as ppl think, sword is a preference and Ranger is not weak, just lost some build options.
