Inner Nayos Mapcompletion - No Rewards
Neathra.1950 replied to Fractal Spoon.9280's topic in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
Isn't like "BE CONSISTENT" the most common thing people yell at Anet for? (Boiled down to the general criticism vs whatever is specifically the issue) -
Inner Nayos Mapcompletion - No Rewards

Honestly the only thing saving it for me. Usually it feels like they play hide and seek with the lantern locations. Could be how well they stick out from the color pallet -
Inner Nayos Mapcompletion - No Rewards
Neathra.1950 replied to Fractal Spoon.9280's topic in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
ETA: Its been noted that Inner Nayos still has 33% of a map to reveal. I stand by my point. Precedents says full map rewards awarded immediately for partly completed maps, and Gifts of X Map coming from Map completion. A lack of consistency is something Anet gets rightly criticized for a lot and it would be nice if they didn't constantly add fuel to that particular fire. Gift of Inner Nayos Aside (And for the record, it should drop from map completion and then also from the achievement rewards for Illuminating Inner Nayos because that is the precident YOU set). The rewards are still bugged. Behold: Skywatch Map Rewards 8,001 Experience Points 22 Silver Gift of Skywatch Mastery A Random Exotic Equipment Guaranteed Transmutation Charge A Chance at either a Transmutation Charge(75%) or a Black Lion Key (25%) Wizard's Tower Map Rewards 8,802 Experience Points Amnytas Map Rewards 8,001 Experience Points 22 Silver Gift of Amnytas Mastery A Random Exotic Equipment Guaranteed Transmutation Charge A Chance at either a Transmutation Charge(75%) or a Black Lion Key (25%) Inner Nayos Map Rewards 8,001 Experience Points And I did just test the Inner Nayos drop. The Character hadn't set foot in the map before yesterday. So, to beat a dead horse: We better map completion rewards for a lounge than a map where everything is trying to kill you. -

The Obsidian Armor needs a ton. Hence the new vendors. -
Questions about legendary relic
Neathra.1950 replied to andreiblue.8231's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Question 1: I hope so. Would really incentivize people to also craft leggie runes. Question 2: Oh god please no. Or at least give it a toggle. Question 3: I'm assuming it'll be like the other legendary trinkets so Precursor from an Achievement (Spark of Sentience, Glimpse, Hateful Sworl) Gift from an Achievement (Gift of Sentience, Gift of Prescience, Gift of Patience) Gift from Open World Mats (Gift of Draconic Mastery, Gift of Arid Mastery, Gift of Compassion* ) Mystic Tribute Assuming I got the recipe at all right, my bet is that it will be giving mats for that darn Mystic Tribute. Maybe an achievement "Master of Runes" which has 7 tiers and gives 11 mystic clovers for each Rune. Clovers are the worst part of any legendary so that would certainly count as "significant progress" in my eyes. -
OK I see what happened. I had just skimmed most of your and DarcShriek's conversation. So I did two things: I accidently swapped your positions, and mistook the argument for being about having portals in general instead of whether the inner Nayos portal would become usable before or after a character finishes the story. (For the record, I agree. It will probably unlock account wide after a single character completes the full story.)

Literally every other map can be accessed (without involving the Gem store) through something besides repeating stories/wping. Living World Maps let you buy a portal scroll. Previous expansions have Guild Halls. LwS3 has Portal Scrolls PoF has a lounge Pass (Elon Lily), and a Guild Hall LWS4 has portal Scrolls EOD has; a lounge pass (Thousand Seas) and a Guild Hall. Plus once you complete the story the first time you get a portal scroll, AND a asura gate to lion's arch. SOTO currently makes you play the story once then you get Asura gate from it. And there is an optional collection for a portal scroll. Even compared to other multi-release maps like Drizzlewood or Bjora Inner Nayos is weird, because you don't get instant access on every character for just doing the associated story. But you also don't get a full map completion reward. Its just some karma vs the general map completion bundle of some currency/mats, an exotic armor piece, and an transmutation charge/black lion key.

Sorrow's Lost - Collection marker bug

This is still happening. I finished the collection a while ago, and the Interesting Bookshelf still has a big marker on it. -
Protect The Rift Hunters slow to advance
Neathra.1950 replied to Exilon.6573's topic in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
Its totally the spawn rate. Me and someone else were doing it just a minute ago and it could barely tick because the enemy spawn was literally constant. And we were killing the enemies within a second or 2 of them spawning. -
Teleports to Friend are single use gemstore item and excluding birthdays need to be either purchased or gotten from engaging with the Lootboxes Black Lion Chests. Or a multiuse gemstore exclusive item I don't think its unfair to ask for a way to get into content I already paid for without engaging with the game's other monetization features. Especially since every previous new pve zone has been accessible without interacting with the gemstore. ETA: To all the people reacting confused, what are you confused about?

I think its fine to require at least one character to have started the story to get into those areas of the map. But there should be a way for those of us who love making alts (And thus buying gems anet) to get our alts there ahead of us doing the story on them - assuming we want to do the story on them. A portal scroll, upgrade to the Wizard Tower Portal Scroll, or just sticking a gate in the Wizard Tower hub would all solve the issue.

I recently noticed that when I hover my mouse over an material that has stats (mostly found under Gemstones and Jewels) such as Amber Pebbles the display doesn't show how many of that item I have in material storage. For example the Amber Pebble's has no mention that I have 129/1000 in my material storage. Meanwhile, If I hover over my Copper Ore the pop up shows I have 955/1000 in the bank.

It doesn't happen often, but it happened again today. I'll be in spot A on a map when I go to character swap and then when I load back into that character I will occasionally be in spot B. Usually it puts me at one specific spot on each map. For racial capitals it is usually the entrance from that race's starting zone. Today, it happened in Echovald Wilds. I logged out while at the Junkyard Waypoint. Upon loging back in a few minutes later I was at the House zu Heltzer Point of Interest
