    Let me get this straight because i doubt i red it correctly. Of all the thousands of problems.............of all the tens of thousands balance issues plus the hundreds of thousands bots in pvp....... you came here to this forum and typed how every map should have a treb? Did you seriously do that? I really hope this is bait.

    This is not good joke and you are not correct. I didnt tell you how exaggerated the bot numbers are. I told you that i FEEL like it is exaggerated, which means that i might be wrong and i told you also that neither i or you can be 100 % accurate on the numbers so because of that the coverastion wont lead to any meaningfull end since neither i can prove you wrong ,neither you can. So please dont make fun of people and shift their words in different topics. Thank you in advance!

    I also said that there are obvious bots and it is sad that anet do not do anything about them.

    You were not the only one that day and in case you havent noticed there are bot users in the forum defending their infinite gold source by saying things like 'i never met a bot' or 'stop calling unskill people bots'. Cant blame them though the things i spend 20-40 euros on the gem store they get by botting in a couple of days-weeks

    I'm very sorry to hear that and I hope you find peace in the future.Was that before or after patch? What build/stats were you running?

    I play a Bunker build post patch and the only thing that can come remotely close to that kind of damage now is a Soulbeast that invests everything into maximum damage. Even then it doesn't come from 1 skill. It comes from multiple skills and it still only manages about half of 22k hp.(Albeit with 3,067 armor).

    Then I pop my healing skill and go from ~11k back to ~18k hp, and proceed to stunlock the Soulbeast for a solid 20 seconds(Give or take a few stunbreaks, but that doesn't really matter because they all take a good 5% of a match for the CD to reset now, longer in some cases) and if they even manage to escape the CC/Block spam by the time their burst is ready again, i've already completely reset back to full hp, and seen every mean word in the English language tossed my way in /say chat.

    If you're also investing everything into damage(like Zerks) then obviously you're going to die a lot quicker. It's probably not going to feel all too different to pre-patch.... Until you fight a bunker like me.

    Before, damage was there to stop people like me and provide some sort of consistent threat to people running similar builds.After, damage is only a threat to other people trying to do damage.

    I don't like it very much personally, but if people like it, I don't judge. But yes, I think the majority of the nerfs from 2/25/2020 onward have been pretty pointless. I don't think damage needs to be buffed, I think all the nerfs and removals since then need to be undone.I'm also a huge hypocrite because I will exploit it to no end so long as its there, and ruin many days and attention spans in the process. Don't hate the player though.

(so i can ridicule it even if its good just like you would do to mine).Namaste ?Now if you wanna get serious everything you say is true IN A 1 VS 1 PVP ONLY !!!! perphaps it will also ruin 2 vs 2 games yes but in 5 vs 5 when the most usless by default and nerfed classes like the warrior for example uses axe skill 3 hits you for a 6-7k plus that theres probably 1 to 4 real damaging class enemies around to unleash some 10k bursts in a couple of nanoseconds what kind of reset back to full hp are you pretending to be doing? And ofc thats assuming a condi fiesta doesnt take place in a condi fiesta game.

    If every skill gives negative effect on u, its the same as if no one skill gives negative. I know its fantasy game but there is no logic u should get penalty for using stunbreak or evading an attack. Penalty is for wasting long cd skill and dying cuz u cant use it.

    Fantasy game yet in real life i can survive a lot longer weapon attacks than my thief does

    Thief has enough sustain, if u are facetanking damage, cant cleanse or dodge then blame your skills, not class.

    I said in a previous post: im not gonna name classes because i dont believe in feeding trolls.Well i f....d up. my bad.

    the problems in the game are deep rooted in actual mechanical design of skills. Many of them have no drawbacks, and this design philosophy was adopted in the games inception, where the line of thinking was "we don't want players to feel like they are being punished for using their skills."

    This design decision was the seed to the very core issues the game has in it's design. They attempted to solve such problems with "trade-offs" but these aren't real trade-offs. Just like actions taken in nature and in the real world, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Everything you do should have a consequence. Look at some of these skills. Some of them have absolutely no counterplay. The ones that do, are tied to abilities or traits that you have to take in order to counter play them, instead of the skill inherently having counterplay built in, it's just bandaged over by adjusting other skills to do more things in an attempt to adhere to the initial design philosophy.

    For example, Spectral Grasp, when targeting 1 player gives you 15% Life Force. When targeting 5 players, it gives you 80%. Where is the counterplay when a reaper uses this ability in a teamfight? There is none...there is no diminishing return for less active gameplay...you just spam it and wham it because it rewards you for using it in more favorable situations, rather then punishing you for taking the easy route.

    The idea is that there should be trade-offs to skills so that effects that return positive feedback loops should have an equal and opposite positive feedbackloop that prevents you from abusing said mechanic. An Example, Every time you use Twist of Fate, you should sacrifice barrier. The more often you use it, the more barrier is taken away. This prevents people from simply spamming it every 20 seconds on rotation and makes you question when to use it...Maybe even an exchange type of effect, where when you use Twist of Fate, you exchange that evade for double damage 1 second afterward (like Frenzy from Gw1)

    Harkening back to Guild Wars 1, just look at all the stance skills on warrior on the above linked page. Each and every one, has both a positive effect, and an anti-positive effect, that prevents someone just abusing it on cooldown constantly. This is that idea in action.

    That's just tickling the major balance issues, and really imposing limits imo is not the right answer, i think its just another Band-Aid fix to the actual problem.

    You are asking for an unrealistic utopia, there is no staff , money, time or even the willingness to fix such deep rooted problems.Im not asking for that much and yea my solution is kinda amateurish for good reasons considering the gw2 pvp situation.If old players get shocked by the state of pvp Just imagine the look on a new players face when he clicks damage received and sees a 300 dmg skill hiting him for 10k while he forever lands bursts on '''certain classes''' to no avail.Certain classes that im not gonna name because i dont believe in feeding trolls.

Arenanet recently made a post saying that every report is checked by people, is it a joke? I have been reporting these people for ages, why are they still around botting?

    The neglect for the mode is disgusting, seriously do something, anything, because at this point I think I should totally give up on the mode because I can't play around reset and every match I play has at least 4-5 bots.

    Well its not that hard to imagine why there are bots farming 24/7 since early seasons with tens of thousands reports on their backs.I will give you a hint the botting tool isnt free.

  10. Why do you have to make things as though you never tested them? Why cant you just put simple limits to this mode? tell me a game where you can insta die from skills that state to do 300dmg yet they hit you for 10.000+ while you are watching a bunker surviving bursts from start to finish even if they are 1 vs 3.Seriously i can just click autorun mash randomly my skills and never die when i play ele! Meanwhile when i play something squishy its like a you blink you lose game, i mean what worst can a hacker do to me that the average player cant? This is the only game where hackers and exploiters never go for dmg they simply dont need to.What the point if even in real life i can survive weapon attacks longer?Why cant we just balance things out? Its not that hard! If you cant do the math with vulnerability-ferocity, put a limit to a 300dmg skill so it can hit max for 6k not 10k+ or give at least a short time determination buff when someone takes 100% dmg in like a second! As far as bunkers sustainability goes i cant even comprehend how it came to this or how to fix it, seriously what the point of having a 0 take & give dmg char? nobody will spend an eternity hiting it and he offers nothing to his team other than hoping some newbies will focus him.

    The more you nerf...the more the game stagnate because people will always gravitate toward the "least effort=biggest reward" gameplay , which will always exist in a game with 9 different professions and will continue to do so unless you "virtuall" remove all but a single profession and a single build or...change all professions to a carbon copy of the same profession to give people the illusion of choice ( I tend to believe that this is what people really want in the end).

    The idea itself that you should have always a "fair" fight in a MMO is what has brought us here, the idea itself that a MMO should be treated like a PvP game...it's again: insane. MMO are all about collaboration between professions/jobs to reach a common goal not for you to have a glorius 1v1.

    Anyway the game itself is already unsalvageable for a good part, the mentality of the playerbase cannot be changed and people will keep asking for nerfs until everything is a "fair fight" in their mind but...there won't be a game to play by that time..truly a shame, this game could have been so much more...but it's far too late for anything now

    PVP is dead cause arena made the bots practically legal by never baning them not cause of builds numnuts.All these bots are pushing silver skill players to plat especially when they abusing revenant and a couple of other things, we ask at least to nerf these op builds since they will never ban bots.You cant understand the basics, you compare 2 different issues that have nothing to do with each other and yet you dare quote Einstein??? Or perhaps you miss the times when mesmer was coming out of stealth hiting for 27k damage???Maybe that will fix things again genius?

    I mailed the most famous warrior bot the other day on eu with thousands of reports on his back to wish him well in his new career, he stoped botting at spvp after 2years 24/7 and started botting only in wvw now. After 17 hours some of which he was botting infrond my eyes he mailed me back and told me to stop make fake reports :D :D :D :D

    Dont pretend every class is a rev, only they have broken sustain. If i make a total defence & heal build with 0 dmg in any other class i wont live for more than 5 seconds when 2 ppl focus me.

    I dont hav a problem in 1 vs 1 but yea it makes sence that id like to survive for more than 2-3 seconds on my fully defensive build when im against 2 enemies or more.
