ANet please consider, a lot of players using older hardware/software (this can often overlap with geographies outside NA/EU/'five eyes' nations, lot of countries pay extreme prices for PC parts we might consider readily affordable) rely on dx9 and win7, these players are worth more to GW2 than the time required to not break the game or at least give courtesy notice of your decision to completely cancel support of dx9. Without a inclusive community an mmo is nothing, right?

Game just patched and this still isn't fixed.

I tried playing SAB with DX11 on an accurately calibrated monitor/gpu system and it was so bleached out I think there is a problem with ANet's DX11 implementation, The game does indeed look blazingly over contrasted on DX11 they need to go fix it or add a slider for something, it is eyeball searingly horrible on DX11 compared with DX9 for some reason.

In the folder where Gw2-64.exe is on your PC, create a new shortcut for Gw2-64.exe. Go to Properties for the shortcut. At the end of the Target box add: -usecoherent This should work until ANet decides the game will no longer run on Windows 7 which would be a regrettable move.

Maybe ANet didn't test this on Win7 again? It's the same situation as last big patch all over again.

It would cost ANet nothing but goodwill to let the event run an extra week or two for anyone who missed out especially considering the CEF/Coherent login fiesta yesterday.

For this make a ticket on the Support site.

Might be related to other reported issues on the forum about GW2's change from Coherent to CEF. I hope your Steam launcher fix is there fast for you too.

Same problem here. CEF used by other software and Chrome browser itself continue to work fine on Windows 7, 8.1, 10, 11.

Still not fixed. An ETA would be nice or at least confirmation that this 'change' is intentional.

If you are missing gold and/or items make a Support ticket from the GW2 Support website (forget in-game bug reports I think those go straight into the waste) and be prepared for a long wait.
