  1. At this point i wonder if CMC ever touched raids.
  2. I'm a lurker, barely post but I didnt get this post at all. I had to respond because ele has so many useless and clunky skills yet you complain about one of the strongest skills this class has to offer. But it is strong and even if it's not compared to other classes why does that even matter? We are talking about ele which has more skills than any other classes. And please the cooldown isnt that low that you are stuck in fire and you can easily swap to earth/air and back and still spam it off cooldown. No it's not. It has 450 range is more than fine specially considering how much this skills has to offer(low cd, insane dmg, TWO combos). It also flows well with other skills like dagger air 5 which lets you disengage and sword fire 2 lets you engage back. Whoever designed this knew what he was doing. This is good design. There needs to be some drawback. Compare this to dagger fire 5 which has like 3 times more cd and STILL does less dmg overall!! Passive agressive much? Yea i think i will stop it here.
  3. It's definitely weaker on the condi side but you can fix it with just increasing the condidamage. If it was the strongest condi skill like it is for power would it still "feel" bad?
  4. Just wanna say that the pve buff to Ring of Fire (ele dagger 4) wont do anything. Power Warhorn will still be surperior choice damage wise AND utility wise (warhorn earth 4 and fire 4 are insane). You obviously are aware of this issue so why are you so conservative about it? Do more. Or buff Churning Earth which would make attuning to earth viable again. The only advantage offhand dagger has is a little bit mobility due to Ride The Lightning. CmC please.
  5. What the hell am i reading here? There is nothing wrong with Flame Uprising. This skill is very strong for its low cooldown. The animation lock is absolutely justfied for its strength. It FEELS great to use and the range isnt as bad as you make it seem to be You are right about ele staff but it was made for WvW first and foremost. It works pefectly fine there. Edit: People dont seem to like this post. Please respond because I'm very confident about this and right. Fire 2 is insanely strong and the animation lock is warranted.

  7. Just wanna say that ele despite its flaws like many neglected skills is the most enjoyable class to me especially the Weaver spec. Whoever designed this spec knew what he was doing unlike Catalyst.
  8. Im still coping for the day where condi sword weaver gets a little buff. Scepter in comparison does more condi dmg, is much easier to play and has range which does matter. Regardless, Im glad offhand dagger fire 4 (Ring of Fire) got a buff. Hopefully it will be on the same level as warhorn which has been THE choice since the xpac. But i think it would be healther to give offhand dagger earth 4 and 5 a buff. These skills are clearly power oriented but dont see any play in pve because its just not worth it to attune to earth just for those 2 skills. If they dont get any love people will just stick to fire/air all the time.

  10. We all know big changes arent gonna happen because its too much work for anet and they are very conservative. But i like to throw ideas around. I think quickness and alac shouldnt exist but instead there should be 1 or maybe 2 new stat type. One that increases your attackspeed and maybe one that increases your cdr. Other mmos do that and it works fine there. Obviously there needs to be a cap or better the value reduces after a certain number. For example: Lets call that new stat Agility. 1000 Agility points gives you 50% attackspeed, but 2000 Agility points gives you only 75% attackspeed. Imo its better design. People dont need to worry that they overcap and lose few stat points for nothing.
  11. Why do you homogenize everything? Making confusion just like any other condition, making Hscourge just another support alac, nerfing the stolen skills from daredevil which excelled at few boss fights, i could go on. You make the game alot less interesting by removing all the flavours. It would be a bit understandable if this was done due to gatekeeping issues but this was never the case. I wish i got paid to make a videogame worse.
  12. You dont say Sherlock. It's not like Weave Self is the only thing that got buffed. Given the encounters it could be even beyond 20% overall damage depending how burst heavy a boss is (hello fractals). Also there isnt just one Power Weaver build. There is also one which has earth in its rotation and does just as much damage.
  13. That was just a guess since the number of Weave Self's increased strike damage wasn't given. Read the notes again but slowly this time. Lets assume its as high as the condition damage number which is 20% then Im probably right.
  14. Lol at the power weaver buffs. It's already in a decent state and now they increase the damage by like what 20% or even more? Ridiculous.
