The update is ok-ish. Average framerate seems higher is most cases but frametime consistency could use some work. Even in a place like the hall of monuments where you are literally the only person you still don't see a perfectly flat frametime graph like you should given that the place is basically empty. Out in the world it's obviously worse.

You know what's also incredibly stupid? Being a hold out for a dead, 12 year old OS. Continuing to spread the whole "hurrdurr windows 10 bad" crap from 2015. And continuing to believe the many outdated, debunked, or simply inaccurate claims as if they're facts. You can't really complain about people supposedly being dismissive of you when people like you instantly dismiss anything that doesn't unquestionably align with their blind windows 10 hate.

No, you're not doing anything wrong. This game simply runs badly no matter what you do or what hardware you throw at it. And that will never change since arenanet flat out refuses to fix their awful engine.

Other MMOs have made improvements to their engines as well as adopted modern API's that make proper use of of modern hardware without having to halt any and all content development. I don't know why you think that would have to be any different here. Perhaps you're just making excuses since you seem to think that "tweaking your settings" is an acceptable solution to a 7.5 year old game running with very sub-par performance on pretty much every machine out there.

What's this? Another year where you have no plans to improve your awful game engine so that it doesn't run like complete garbage on all hardware in existence? Why am i not surprised?
