There is an intersection between "User Error" and "Instructions Unclear".

This is the post that I got that 4-week timeline from. I see this post mentions the Jan. 25th date. Mixed messages. "Team Transfers: Once a match has started, there will not be a way for a player to initiate a transfer between teams. Players will need to wait until the next team-creation event or season to be placed with a different guild. To help mitigate this in the short term, we’ll be reducing the duration of a season from eight weeks to four weeks."

It's poor planning on my part. And it feels like poor planning on Anet's part too. If they already know that we aren't going to read, then why make the shortened season 4 weeks instead of just 1? Right now, we're all looking at not getting balanced again in a team-creation event for another 4 weeks. I would be a lot less upset if that was 1 week instead of 4...

Mortar kit arcs a lot. It can go over some obstacles that may appear to be blocking line of sight.

There is a post on a match making bug on EU, though I am on NA. For NA, assuming that there isn't an issue with the actual matchmaking. This feels way more like "Instructions Unclear" than it does "User Error".

I tried to get matched up with my current guild. I must have got on too late, because I did not have the option to set the WvW guild during the match making process. I cannot play with my guildies. If I understand the post regarding team transfers, then I won't be able to raid with my guildies for the next 4 weeks, or until a team creation event happens (whatever that is).

Suggestion to help incentive the player base to host raid training's and help new raiders.For each player in the squad that kills the boss for the first time on their account, reward every other player in the squad with 5g. For instance, if there is 1 person in the squad that hadn't killed the boss with 9 others that had, then everyone would get their normal reward and the 9 others would get an additional 5 gold. If 3 people in the squad had never killed the boss before, then the 7 others who had would get 15g each (5g for each of the new raiders) along with the regular rewards. The players that get the kill for the first time do not get the extra gold, but they get the normal 1st kill rewards anyways.

Don't get me started! Oh course, I would highly recommend the second static training group to anyone looking for a static.
