Hi, got the same problem after a BIOS update last year ; to solve this I downgraded the BIOS and kept it until 2 weeks ago (the problem is no more present in the current version for me)

I think they patched it with the Lunar New Year and after, I did it yesterday with my guildmates 5 times (CM mode) always with 30 sec to 1min30 left while 2 weeks ago with the same group it was a carnage always one shot and too much time to kill the 3 adds during split phase.

Hi, Maybe you've seen a druid or another class using the light orb, it's to apply Stun to the eye. Stun is a hard CC effect and if you are using an other hard CC (pull/launch/daze/stun/floate/knockback) , it overwrite the Stun even if the stun was 1,2,3 (or more) second duration. If Stun is overwritten, the eye will teleport randomly. Edit:Wiki say :"- Avoid using Daze, Fear, or Knockdown, as these will override the stun from the light orb and likely cause the Eye to teleport. Note that other CC can be used freely including Stun and Launch."Not sure about the other hard CC then.

I don't remember if you can continue the collection without crafting Finite Result (to unlock the 2nd) and Upper Bound (to unlock the 3rd) but imo the best is to craft them (and salvage them after) because you get :5 Ball of Dark Energy after salvaging Finit Result9 Ball of Dark Energy after salvaging Upper Bound And keep the Fractal Capacitor, it's an Ascended backpack, you can use it for a 2nd char
