  1. Yeah, no. These are all full accounts, some of them dating back to before F2P was even an option. That would be why I'm posting in the "Bugs" section of the Forums, lol
  2. Recently, I've been getting a notification "This player cannot whisper you back unless you are on the same map or you add them as a friend." when I whisper people. The notification doesn't keep them from whispering back, even when we're not friends and are on different maps. What the heck is going on? (And yes, I've had friends check to make sure that my online status is stable.)
  3. Ah, but that's exactly the issue. The nodes bought pre-patch seem to be acting character bound even after the patch. As for why I bought it? I suppose it's the completionist in me who is building a full home instance. And I am spending my gold on what I want. According to GW 2 efficiency, home nodes are the fifth thing I've spent the most on, after skins, shared inventory spaces, outfits, and gliders in that order as opposed to Mailcarriers and PVP Heroes that I've spent 0 on. :) And one of the great things about stocking a Home Instance with Nodes is that you can share these items with Friends, Guildmates, Random Strangers, and New Players...Y'know - the Community that GW2 was designed to be.
  4. Well, it's a bug that is on-going for those of us who bought it pre-patch. Until I read here, I didn't think to look for the node with the character I bought it on - maybe that will help going forward. But yeah, it's kind of a pain when you have "homebodies" and "explorers".
  5. Three plots. 2 paid for with real life money, just as the harvesting tools were. One earned. Here's the problem: Turning off only the plots that can grow ascended foodstuffs means turning off ALL of the plots. This affects the people who have been planting for non-ascended foodstuffs, dyes, and primers - it affects everyone who bought these plots. Turning off the glyph is inconvenient, yes. I'll miss mine for the next couple of weeks and the speedy harvesting it gave me... but the 1000 gem plots that have been working just fine for the last year or so trumps the 1000 gem gathering tool that has been out for mere weeks.
