who really wants to keep capping spots on 6+ yr old maps?plus you get queued up with people who have a potato for brains. I ALSO don't like the fact that any new player can come in a ranked arena on their level 1 elementalist, with no clue how to play..

I find the lightning sound oddly satisfying??I guess it can be loud if you have it turned up.(but I dont play with headphones)that could be said for a lot of the combat sounds.... how bout that hydra bounty in domain of vabbi lol

honestly I play Lotro, and the community managers and devs are usually always letting people know what they plan next, or at least give a little hints.I think that's why its hard to stay excited in gw2,(for me at least) theres never much contact with anet

I have never really understood the lore behind them, and devs haven't added anything about them since the start (I think).I don't think they would make an easily customizable character as far as hair/clothing and getting skills/mount animations to work together. Im just really not getting the hype.A new race would be cool, yea, but WHY tengu?

why they didnt make it so that our accounts would get the birthday gift, like me and many others have been here since we bought the base game. i deleted my first character because it had a really cringy name lol. it was like 6 years old. it says ive played for 2,352 days across all characterswonder what gifts i lost :( edit:well, i think i remember deleting it because i hated being an asura too lol

i know what you mean about the early enemies feeling closer to home. Like caithe's wrangle with faolin and the nightmare court. finding out if queen jennah was a good ruler for divinity's reach and the city's unrest about her.i really liked those types of plots instead of these, "lets kill all the elder dragons bc theyre bad"

I thought it was interesting how we found out that kralk was not just another evil dragon character, but was pained by absorbing all the magics and just wanted release. I didn't really see that coming. this has got me thinking, with aurene becoming the new crystal dragon, and seemingly everything left to a happy ending, wonder what else is next story wise? a new expansion? or another living story leading into a new expansion? what's your theories? whatever they do, i hope it will be enough to keep players like me around LONGER than every 3 months..

yes, only if they dont take months to earn no, if they are going to be annoying and gold/time consuming . i only play this game between story updates (probably like many others) and really cant be bothered to commit the time to those mounts ;(

i have never used twitch , and i dont really think the mmo genre is suited for twitch.who really wants to watch somebody run around lions arch crafting coffee?lol

OP, i have had the same thoughts over the years that the game really doesnt offer much to stay, but i keep coming back every 3-4months for the story and to dink around. also could be just longing for something that in the past had so much meaning and now just lost novelty as we get older.. so, you can justbe like me and come back every now and then, or go play another game
