The opening point of this thread is that the rewards are better with Wizard's Vault. As a casual player I would argue that the cost of missing one daily task vs the cost of not getting the daily chest is just wrong imo. Why is the daily astral acclaim almost doubled for completing all of these 'suggestions'? What happens to the calculations if you only get half the daily / weekly chests - does Wizards Vault still come out ahead of daily login / daily tasks? (its too late and I can't be arsed trying to get the maths right as I post this) For casual players Wizards Vault objectives become less suggestions and more a proscribed list of things to get done to stay on top of the daily / weekly chest rewards. Instead I would rather that the daily / weekly rewards are redistributed to the tasks themselves so that the daily / weekly chests are a much smaller cherry that you can take or leave as you like. In some ways this thread has made me pay more attention to how the daily / weekly quests are chosen, in particular I was reminded that I can change the sort of quests that appear (just one play style is possible). I've missed Wednesday's daily chest, and I'm not sure I'm going to get the first weekly chest because I didn't understand all the implications on Tuesday - my fault. For all those who asked for more variety please add my voice to that call. I will only have my preferred play style chosen until I'm not risking the daily / weekly chests on a play style I've little interest in getting good at. The idea of having a cap in the astral acclaim for daily / weekly seems to be the most workable option that is also the most similar to how the previous daily rewards worked. FOMO at its best.

Watching the price of Mystic Coins at the moment. More details on the daily login chests would have been helpful, is it going to be the same with a different format, or totally different items / schedule?

I'll take that as a no then. In one instanced section and went and played sudoku for 5 minutes, when I can back it turned out there was a fight scene inside the instance (Path of Fire) and all of the armour I had was zero'd while I'd been away. Became a situation of two hits / die / two hits / die / two hits / ... For those that say don't play it - you can't even reach the first Crystal Desert waypoint without playing through a scene; and if you want all the alt's to have access it seems they have to play the first scene as well OR finish the story line. In addition there are a number of maps you don't get access to (HoT and PoF) unless you play through the story. And yes the reason I only have the very first mount is because I've put off the story for so long.

I feel like I'm going nuts listening to the various unskippable dialogue sections in each of the Living World stories. It goes without saying I'm not interested in the lore and if I come across something I don't recall then I'll wiki it. To give context I have just completed my personal story for the first time I also had a dentist remove a broken tooth recently. Guess which was more fun.

Lunatic Boot Box - Wiki implies that the only way to get this box is the JP Another 45 second wait; 30 second wait; 60 second wait (because the JP didn't start, just reset the counter) I'm pulling the hair out of my head in boredom / frustration. Looking for 'hitting head against wall' emote. I get that this is instanced, but why not have 4 clock towers that start every 20 or so seconds, and you get sent to the tower next to start rather than waiting on a race that as far as I can tell isn't worth anything?

Am I missing a trick with the clock tower? I seem to spend so much time waiting, waiting waiting, starting a run, waiting waiting waiting waiting starting a run, waiting waiting... you get the idea. To be clear I'm only doing this to get the box - I'd rather donate candy corn than participate in this event. Is there anyway to cut down on the standing around with my finger up my a waiting?
