  1. d912pxy actually helps me with framedrops, removing them almost completly... almost... because in dense populated areas I can still feel them a little. Its so ironic that the game seems so versatile in its gameplay, its almost unique amongst others, yet its one of the trashiest enginewise. Shame, this happens when works of passion turn into nothing but a source of income, corporatist style.
  2. Weirdly enough it didn't work for me yesterday, I ran the game today, everything fine. Probably has to do with some quickfix anet did after dx912pxy release.
  3. Yes I did, it works wonders on my 5600 XT. But now with the new GW2 updates, dx912pxy doesn't work, makes my game crash. Hopefully it will be solved soon, theres others experiencing the same issue.
  4. The fix doesn't help, game doesn't work still, unless you play without d912pxy
  5. By the looks of it, the card itself doesn't need any tweaking, its already OC, but I installed d912pxy and I can see a noticeable difference in frame consitency. Pretty neat. For anyone that plans to buy a 5600XT, go for Sapphire, make sure it has OC mentioned in the specs or OC sticker on the box. Unlike 5700XT, 5600XT doesn't need undervolting especially if its OC, nor any kind of wattman tweaking, also the driver has no issues anymore, its basically plug and play. However, I do recommend proper driver settings: https://i.imgur.com/h36nq6h.png Yes I know Heilung, Danheim is also good, I like my norse pagan music when I game. LATER EDIT: I just realized today how garbage is gw2 engine and optimization in contrast with what 2020 games have to offer. I played AC Odyssey with everything on max, EVERYTHING. 108 fps, almost 0 spikes (4 fps the most) or microstutters.Even if i get 90 fps average in gw2 with most settings on high, the fps spikes are too often and huge. We are talking 150 up to 63 down. Not very good. Microstutters here and there when the screen is clustered.Even so, ANet managed to squiz the most of its engine, so thats a kudos, can't lie.
  6. @Mack.3045I hope so too. Yes there is a bios switch, and also came out with the new vbios version, its the latest manufacturing series I just noticed yesterday, lucky me. Haven't tried any tweaking yet, I probably will today, I'll post feedback.
  7. Cheers Mack, I just bought today a Sapphire 5600XT Pulse, hope it'll do just fine with these tweaks + the new vbios that pumps it up in performance almost to 5700XT.
  8. Umm.. theres a shared guild bank that you can use. Just sit next to it, have your guildmate next to it, drop it in the guild bank, he takes it. Repeat the same thing with each member separately so that everyone gets what he is supposed to. Problem solved.
  9. Its not always chatty but when it does, 98% its positive, people congratulating others for making their first legendary, or answering questions about the game, or even getting funny sometimes, and this in LA. Also metas like someone said above. Sometimes it goes from mapchat to whispers. Found some cool people this way. Being more guildchat oriented I think fits well with the game's name and overall idea.Even if mapchat is more silent than other MMO's, the paradox here is that the community is way more mature and polite, so thats a great tradeoff imo.Like someone said above, GW2 is more of a busy/fast paced MMO than others. I think its kinda balanced this way.Atleast this how EU goes.
  10. This is great, I would pay to get my character as 3D figurine. I wonder if ANet could make this possible via request, fill a form with your account name and character you wish, your billing adress etc, using the same guys that made Rythlock for collector's edition since they worked together before, and have it shipped to you, of course all expense covered by the player. I guess its too much of a fuss just for a small nieche of players, but nonetheless would be awesome.
  11. Im glad to see Warrior getting some love, but its not enough. Everything Mosharn.8357 said on page 3 plus the fact that without having a power berserk stats build, warrior damage is so very mediocre. It feels like other classes have higher sustain-damage without the berserk stats. If warrior actual sustain seems enough, then maybe more native defense would be nice? Its not fair to have to play your best in wvw/pvp so you can do just ok (not good, ok) whereas other classes can have a lazy mediocre play and still do better than you. Bottom line, warrior get love in PvE, how about getting it in PvP too? Warrior hasn't been relevant in PvP for so long...
  12. I guess its time to upgrade from win 8.1 to 10, thanks for the heads up, I almost installed it, saved me "trying to make it work" fuss. Why it doesn't work on win 8/8.1, does anyone know? @Shao.7236 8.1 should have been the learned from mistakes version. I mean, I had no problems so far with it, on the contrary it feels more stable than win 10 in some regards. But then win 10 got alot of updates, so it exceeds win 8.1 in terms of stability, compatibility and optimization.
  13. So you can go in and out as many times as you want a day and hit home instance pinata? From my experience yes, but not in the same home instance. As long as you know people with that node in their home, you can farm once a day from each player. @Linken.6345 Yes, it might be a bug. Salvaged 3 home nodes so far in one sitting. I have no idea if it was only a visual bug, don't remember how many zhaitaffy I had before salvaging the nodes.I will try again today and leave feedback here.
  14. FYI: 35 festival pinatas, but there is no limit on salvaging pinata home nodes. Join LF full homes, ask your guildmates etc.
  15. GW2 is the only MMO where warriors are the worst in pvp. That says alot about balancing.
