  1. Ok so first things first ... it would be boring to play at range? If you truly think that i really want to know what your opinion is on the new engi spec because although it gets mace the mech is going to be the biggest part of any build for that spec and it will basically transform the spec into a range spec. Also why would it be ok for every single class in the game to have a viable range build and only eli the class that was supposed to represent the mage class be the only one left out. I mean i agree in part that there is no need for a new ranged weapon but a buff or revamp on staff and scepter would already make a lot of difference in build variety and strength.
  2. Meh, anything they do with herald shield that isn't a nerf is already a big improvement because the way it is now it's not worth to take it most places. Even in open world it isn't good and that should be a pretty big thing to notice because most things of any other class or even other herald weapons are viable in OW. I believe they should either revamp shield 5 into something completely different or put like protection and resolution pulse on it. Would already make it much better. And if they do that they could remove protection from shield 4 and instead give it like a cripple effect on enemies if it hits and keep the minor heal on the way back that it has.
  3. First things first longbow is definitely the winner in my book. On the other hand I actually enjoyed hammer, at least some of the skills. I love the idea behind it like @tesnow.4721 said. It just feels like they had the idea of hammer having multiple ranges and then they just had a brain fart while making the utilities. I hope that by the time the expansion rolls around they will completely recreate them.
  4. Ok yeah i tried this also cause i thought it had something to do with the components but everything was working fine. Also i am able to run Path of Exile on high settings and it works perfectly so this is something with the ingame client of GW2. I hope they fix it soon cause i really want to play the game but having to restart it every 10 to 15 minutes is annoying to do and makes it difficult to enjoy it.
  5. Hi guys, i know the title doesn't really say much but for the last two days my game keeps freezing and then crashing after like 15 minutes of playing it. I was just wondering is anybody else is experiencing the same problem?
  6. I understand that part but you can still see the timer left in the top edge of the picture so the match was 7 minutes. Considering that is the current standard time for a sPvP match. This would imply some sort of spawn camp where the player would be in constant combat without dying. He has 4 deaths. That is around a minute spent on the respawn timer. So the numbers are done in 6 minutes of absolute fighting against 2 to 3 people who are healing the whole time. And that is still ridicilous.
  7. Hi, everyone I have a question for you. So my build if i5-7300HQ with NVidia GeForce 1050 Ti and 8GB of RAM but my loading times for this game have started to become longer and longer. Today it took me over 2 minutes to get into Eye of the North. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced the same thing. I love this game but if it means that I get kicked because my loading times are so long it has no meaning for me to continue to play PvE content.
  8. Also there has been a new one for skimmer in PoF masteries that only gets unlocked after doing an achievement. Idk if you already have it but that one is 8 mastery points as well i believe.
  9. Well I mean for the Condition Damage/Expertise/Vitality/Healing Power plague doctor already exists which only switches expertise for vitality as a major attribute. So i doubt they will add the same attribute combination once more.

  11. Yes but this would literally destroy the core idea of what a ranger class in RPGs is. The core of the ranger is having pets as AI running with you and interacting with the environment by making them "aspects" it would be like a herald with channeling something which is it's own core mechanic
  12. I think it should be perment lingering elements. It lets core ele in effect be the atuments of its chose as you trait them. I like the double minor when in the atument is cool too. Yeah i don't think this is such a good idea considering we have weaver it would literally defeat the whole purpose of the elite spec because that is it's signature thing. It would be like giving core engi access to the function gyro or core necro the ability to pick which shroud they want.
  13. Some of these weapon skills just need to be unrooted to see how they do. I know that would make a huge difference for warrior sword and ele staff... Oddly ele is the only core class in the game that is simply weaker then its elite spec. There realty is no reason to run core ele you can fine reason to run core any thing else in the game. It has a lot to do with core eles weapons being on its elite spec and being so importen to the class / elite spec. Its best to think of ele less of a mages and more of an wepon master. That is not unique to ele. Mesmer, Thief, Engineer to name 3 off the top of my head. Well memer has different shatter effects eng has its F5 elite skill as for thf i do not know i know some ppl dislike the longer dodge time and well ele core gets nothing at all vs its elite spec. This IS unique to ele oddly the one class that lacks any other type of uniqueness. Yeah that is kind of the point of ele not to be unique but to be a jack-of-all-trades which ruines any form of uniqeness it could have.
  14. Dear god i hope they don't do this. Cause if they do this that would require for them to completely rework underwater combat, even after the 1st rework it's still really bad.But on the other hand making one of the underwater weapons usable on the land would be kind of cool in which way i don't care which one it is because they all would work nicely on ele IMHO
  15. I picked spear mainly for the aesthetic of my guardian. But also it would be really cool to see a guardian enchancing a spear and then chucking it at a mob and like make it sprout chains as one of the abilities
