  1. Not "people", Roul, a Snowcrow member. It just means that if you know 100% how to play against a boss, it have the potential of hitting 50k, . Even then, he even admit that he was "struggling a lot". I do not expect anyone to have the dedication to reach his level of gameplay, let alone to do the right rotation and not dying ; a high damage potential do not mean the average damage of casual will be high too. Then, 50k damage should be the reward to play this well. Or ok, nerf the damage, but drastically simplify the gameplay.
  2. Overpowered in the hand of a snowcrow. Anything seems overpowered in the hand of a speed clear player. "Hey, I once saw someone finishing Dark Souls playing with Donkey Konga's bongo. It must be a really easy game"
  3. There is an animal ? Sorry, i've never seen it. Too busy surviving, looking at my hammer 3 uptime and mashing 36 buttons at the same time.
  4. With catalyst you can negate the staff nerf by using the elite on Meteor Shower. Every 90 seconds.🙃
  5. Catalyst is buffed, but it's so badly designed it's like multiplying zero by whatever in hope that will change something. Top and Middle traits line are good with combinaison that are not 2 handed. Especially D/D because it has access to all aura easily and is really mobile. But do not expect to benefit from your jade sphere, because it's stationnary, small, will not generate enough energy and be busy enough to never activate them even once. You'll probably do a better job with tempest or weaver at close range with far less hassle. Or you can take your favorite staff, get the bottom trait line and be an AoE backline support turret. Just take arcane and water, spam your attunement, water to heal, occasionally go into fire to make some damage (eventually take the spec elite so you can make 2 meteor shower back to back every 90 seconds lol) It's too bad staff is trash now and that others spec can support and do actual damage better than you. Or you can take your favorite hammer, get all the drawbacks of other weapon (i.e not being able to benefit from its jade sphere, having to spam attunement to be somewhat useful) with even more drawbacks.You will have to always move because you are litterally paper, outside your jade sphere most of the time, because you have basically no mobility otherwise.You'll have to make sure your sphere (of hammer 3) is always up when you attack AND be in the right range AND switch as soon as you must even if you didn't burn all your weapon skills or you'll miss dps (because obviously, there are extreme range difference on this weapons) It's already 3 extra things to monitor just for ONE skill. You can't use top traits well because there are no obvious way to gain aura (earth 4 doesn't count 'cause you lose dps) Or maybe you know your combo really well. You can support your mate at the front line with the bottom trait line but now they all have the same problem as you since your jade sphere is so small, at least they can survive better.Lastly, you can use your middle traits, but now you just have to wait to escape an attack or use air 5 and earth 5 since you can't use air 4 (you'll lose dps). With hammer, you'll probably do a better job with another spec or weapon combo and your support is laughable next to other spec. On the plus side, if you take the spec elite, you can spam Air 2 back to back if your target is stationnary lol. Your hammer 3 should be a class thing, not a weapon skill, and should damage your ennemy whatever your range, the jade sphere should follow you everywhere and have no energy or no cooldown. Then throw your hammer away and forget it.
  6. You lose one of the best Ele asset : mobility. For barely anything in return.
  7. The F5 field is either too small or should move around with you. Cancelling it shouldn't make you lose all your energy, and attacking foes should generate energy even if the field is up, to make it longer. The top traits are near unusable with hammer because the aura are too difficult to generate on this weapon. The middle trait do not pay off and its grandmaster is near unusable too The bottom traits are underwhelming, and barely useful. Elemental epitome CD is too high. Hammer feels clunky and far too slow even under full quickness. Its 3rd skill is built like an incentive to switch but the pay off is so small you don't even feel the difference between using it or not. Just give it Aura or Elemental Empowerment stack based on choosen grandmaster trait or something like that. Also, no trait enhance its damage nor CD. From utility skills, only Relentless Fire is somewhat usable. The healing skill is... well, it exists. And the Elite skill is like any other Ele elite skills that is not Conjure Fiery Greatsword -> forgettable. The only weapon that work "well" with it, is the Staff, but it was so much nerfed into oblivion that Core Ele is just as efficient without the hassle of a new mechanics. Don't be afraid to make a good Elementalist spec because, as is, it's just a wannabe tempest+weaver combo but downgraded to a pre-buff Scrapper minus the bulk. Nerf conjured weapons to oblivion, because all high number benchmark are based on the presence of 2 conjured weapon whatever the Ele spec ; it is too unrealistic to even matter and balance the class around it. Catalysts were casters from a bygone era but if they are not reworked to the ground, they will still be.
  8. We were told not to log in to avoid possible data corruption, so I did. Whatever the way you put it, I lost progress too, I lost the things I could have do IG if there were no server issues. Some did log in anyway and duped items, some were not aware. They will get the free mount skin. Those who listened will not receive the free skin. It's like giving a 100$ to someone driving drunk or who hasn't seen the speed limit sign.
