Problem is this cave is blocked by vines, and can only be opened by players doing the Group Event "Defeat Overseer Ranik ... etc".So, just camping outside the cave seems no use, (and a very extreme measure for just a POI, I think) If I go to the Southside Waypoint, is there a way to tell if/when this event will start (the cave is just round the corner from the Waypoint) ... wiki does not give a achedule like it does for the meta event (god bless wiki) and I don't get how these Group Events work, so far. i.e. notifications on the screen, as warning in advance, for instance. Any advice would be very welcome, this waypoint is very intriguing ... Pardon the rant, but what comes over the developers to make POI, or Hero, or anything really be gated behind an event that the player exploring has no input to, or influence over.They must have a reason, but I can't see it, unless just to make people join in group events they don't want to? Solo players and completionists look askance at these decisions ... they pay just as much money as the group enthusiasts, after all, but are not allowed to play the game their own way. Sucks. Right you are. After checking for the 1 millionth time, I found I had left Rata Sum too soon, hadn't got all the poi ... now I have got them all, and the Title!Thanks for the push in the right direction :-)

Well, I am stuck! I have received all the Hero Exploration achievements for Ascalon, Kryta, Maguuma, Orr and Shiverpeaks, which include the respective cities.I also received all the area rewards for completing all the hearts, vistas hero points and point of views. At this point, I thought I was done, however the game told me I was short 4 poi's ... I found one in the Eye of The North (who knew, not mentioned in the wiki). So, I am now still short of 3 POI's, without a clue where to look.This is so frustrating. Should I send a ticket to ArenaNet (don't fancy my chances there) or might some experienced player who has received the Been There. Done That Title be able to give me a little steer?This would be good karma, and very much appreciated :-) Thanks

Hi all ... quick question, please. I have now completed exploration of Ascalon, Kryta, Maguuma Jungle, Shiverpeak Mountains (not just the game completion reward for vistas, hearts, etc, but also the Hero General Exploration achievements for each of these areas) ... somehow, I was under the impression that these were enough for world completion (ie the areas that were present originally), but now I find there is more to be done ... problem being, I cannot find the information of what is missing. How do I find out what I am missing, as I really want to get this gosh darned title? Tvm in advance

I have played many mmo's and joined (and left), many guilds in my time, however I admit I am baffled by the guild system in Guild Wars 2.I mean, 5 guilds?Taking Black Desert Online as an example, one is expected to join one guild and give one's life blood to help the guild grow and do unmentionable things to people who have the effrontery to join other guilds and compete.For this, one gains a number of buffs, companionship and assistance to progress in one's bloodthirsty career in the game. Oh, and lots of guild goodies depending what guild activities one takes part in ... all good. So, obviously I don't have to join 5 guilds ... what I'm querying is why this system grew (different from any other mmo I have played) and how it is meant to work .i.e. pros and cons of having 5 sets of pals to contend with. I'm not trolling, honest, I am really keen to know how a player can use this system to best advantage ... so far, I have only figured out it might be a plan to have different guilds for different activities e.g. PVE, PVP, Crafting, Raids, Fractals, WvW, exploration, yada yada ...but why? surely some guilds cover all these activities? What am I missing?{Well, apart from the fun of having different people and flavours of guild to interact with, looking on the bright side} Sorry if this has been discussed as nauseum elsewhere, a friendly steer to the guild gurus would be much appreciated.Thanks and cheers ...

Hi ... I have come across a very annoying issue ...when I put on the goggles and jump from the end of the diving board thingy, I do not reach the water, but keep hitting the building on the way down.Three times so far.Am I missing something important here?Any tips?Thanks and regards
