Starting to grow with a few good folks and we now have a guild hall!!! Still looking for more to grow and have fun together with a reckless disregard to meta builds, rotation or anything else binding!!!!!

Well, I teamed up with azkitten and we started a guild. You can find the details here... Maybe we could team up and start a type of unofficial alliance between our 2 guilds since GW2 doesn't have alliances? Just a thought.

[Reckless Dragon Exterminators] [RDE] is a casual PvX (Stormbluff Isles for WvW) guild recruiting players 18+ to join a friendly, smaller, social guild. We decided to start this guild based on a need. There was a need to feel seen when in the chaos of the larger guilds, it was easy to be unseen. We wanted a home, where if you said, "Hello!," people would respond back to you instead of being met with silence. We wanted a place where you could learn the mechanics of something together or find your voice to speak up to try leading something without fear of being criticized, judged, or made to feel bad in any way. We will never exclude someone because they don't have the meta build or perfect skill rotation. If you run up screaming, "Leroooooooy Jennnnnkinssssss," and get hit once by the boss and die, that is okay. We will laugh about it, reset, and try it again because life is too short to sweat the small stuff. We are supportive of our 1st responder community, our military, and our country, and we happily accept people from all walks of life who feel the same way. We are looking to grow, so come give us a chance and help us grow to be a home in a game where we go to escape the chaos of the outside world. We are primarily a North American CENTRAL STANDARD TIME Based Guild. We have a Discord for those who feel inclined to use it and only require it during guild events where communication is paramount. WOW!! After reading through all the other posts on this meta, this is the best and most awesome one I have seen!!! I totally tip my hat to you and wish there were a lot more people like you!! After 18 tries, I finally got my first win tonight...it was a nail biter as we finished with only 3 seconds left on the timer, but we got it! I would love to run it again and will totally add you in game. I'm in no way the best with my Guardian and always want to learn more and do better. Hope to see you in the game!!!

Greetings!! I'm Firekatt and I'm one of the many that are looking for a great guild to run content with. Now, I've searched through the forums, Reddit and other places and always see the same thing over and over. "We're friendly, we're casual, we do a lot/most content, we have scheduled events". Everyone pretty much says the same thing. So, for the first time ever, I'm posting that I'm looking for a guild!! What I'm wanting.... Yes, a friendly, casual guild Yes, scheduled events Yes, an active guild However, also a guild that does spontaneous events. Fractals, dungeons, strikes and such on a regular basis. A guild that not only has Discord for voice chats and out of game announcements and such, but also has an active, in game, text chat A guild that encourages participation but also discourages "clicks" Family friendly and knows that real life comes first What I do not want..... Multi-gaming communities. There are some good ones out there, but not my cup of tea as I usually just play the one game Extra-large guilds where lots of members are inactive Extra-large guilds in general Guilds that promise the world but then do not deliver Guilds that primarily "hang out" in voice chat. I have a wife and kids and I prefer to talk with them while gaming...unless I'm doing an event with my guild. A bit about me.... I'm older, 49, married with 4 kids. I work full-time and my schedule varies from day shifts to night shifts and weekends. I'm a long time vet of MMO's in general and have been an officer and/or guild leader in several. Sent a mail in game but I'd be very interested in joining. Your group sounds like a great fit. I have several lvl 80 toons and have central tyria map completion on 2 so far. I'm looking to get into dungeons, fractals and raids. I'm mainly a PVE type of player but willing to try some pvp if needed. Thanks!!
