  4. Hello guys, my name is Stefan. Recently i have registered a guild by the name - The Forgotten Dynasty [FD], server - Gandara. This is a very fresh guild and it is a work in progress. I'm inspired and very passionate to have a guild and create a small community on my own, to connect people so we can find each other easily to play together. The guild is international and English language is preferred. PvE oriented - open world content, Meta, Fractals, Dungeons, Achievements etc, but other arrangements can also be organized.   5. Not necessarily, this ambient type of game-play is a big part of the overall RPG experience. But lets get to the point. It's a part I can do without. Some others too, witness this topic. Making it a gem store purchase would let all of us tailor the game to our preferences. Besides, a colorful implementation could add to the RPG experience. An NPC in the instance who works for us might actually make us feel like a "commander", which would be nice after hearing ourselves be called "commander" hundreds of times without any real merit to the title at all.Anet pls add Underworld open map somewhere so we can travel there and do stuff, also add new weapons (new options), maybe Greataxe, or Spear (on land), maybe some sort of a Cannon, Chain Scythe, maybe dual shield spec, etc we have most of those as skins but it would be nice to have them as actual weapons, its been long time and we just have same old stuff
  6. What makes a mirage invincible? I tried one once near release but did awful, is it a particular skill or trait? You can evade while doing damage and evading gives you even more damage from clone ambushes. Vigor is easy to come by and endurance food and sigils also help. You also get easy access to mobility from staff, axe and utilities, as well as stealth on torch, so even in a tough situation you can disengage while clones still do damage. Well disengaging is for weaklings. The thing is... it's not really so easy to compare. And it really depends on what one defines as "best". Unless we're talking 100% optimised raids, it's really personal preference. I have a full viper mirage and it is the "best" in some situations, true. Soloing champions without getting hit isnt that complicated. But just like any pure dps, it falls flat on it's face when you do get hit. You can do simple endurance tests if you want. Now with pavilion up, I recommend visiting the bandit forest and take on ~10 veterans at once. I have problems doing that on my PvE specced viper mirage but I have no problems doing it on my p/p scrapper that's built for WvW sustain, lol. The more mobs the merrier. In open world PvE I personally find that doing 10k dps indefinetly is somewhat better than doing 30k dps and downing in the first seconds of the fight because a random mob farted in your general direction. Most will disagree though and just do full front loaded builds. Its ok. Thing is, you'll only ever run into situation like this on purpose. You won't find 10+ veterans who engage you normally. And even if you did, as a Mirage you could simply disengage. Purposefully placing yourself in a bad situation and choosing to not evade it is a very poor reason to cripple your own damage output like that. I do the opposite - in the extremely rare cases when I actually need to be tankier, I switch build. And then go back. Because 99.9% of the time you're fine in a full damage spec. Especially Mirage, precisely because it has a lot of mitigation built-in which doesn't sacrifice damage.But if you do and manage to deal with them you increase your farm output > efficiency. Vs if you would take them one by one, easy test is Great Hall in Istan, mass pawns with 3-4 vet in close proximity and 10+ normals - so in that situation having a glass cannon that will take them in 1 min and die after that is not as good as a sustained jack of all traits that will take 2 min to take them but will continue for undefined time as long as you want = efficiency.   7. What you should really care about is how to utilize to currency from the system, not the flat basic rewards you get, and in gw2 you can convert almost anything into gold if you know how!

Like i said its just a little more convenience, for 303 hearts = 3030 badges farm that and still do map completion but skipping the actual hearts how is this gonna push the price of legendaries to material cost? You will still need to make the effort but in a slightly different direction thats all. Also i did say put similar option for pvp and pve and it will benefit even pve cuz im sure there are plenty of ppl tired or repeating the same content over and over... tedious.

I understand that we need to be "masters" to get legendary but, I believe anybody who wanted at any given time to have multiple legendary weapons either for their own collection or for sell will understand how tedious it can be do repeat! the same old content over and over again. Didn't we already prove to be "masters" of core Tyria maps? Now, i don't ask for free gift of exploration nor a option to buy it with currency, lets just say that an extra convenience is good for players who are already experienced and have dedicated a lot of time in Guild Wars 2. We already do map completion faster with mounts that't true but we also know what REALLY takes most of the time >>> Hearts. So i believe it is not game breaking to add a already similar option that we have for Hero Challenges but now for Hearts. We have it for Hero Challenges (which are not so time consuming anyway) why not have it for Hearts (For players who already completed map Core Tyria maps once). For example - 1 Heart = 5-10 badges of Honor. Thats why i posted in WvW section, because it's going to promote it a little bit and wvw players will have an easier time doing this, as wvw itself takes a lot of time and dedication, also again - this doesn't look like game breaking at all, as people have done map completion numerous times, why not make their life easier, i mean we still gonna need to do it but just a bit easier, and it may seem a bit unfair for pve/pvp players but you know you can always add similar option for them as well. Just think about this for a moment, i understand there has to be most effort put into Legendary crafting and there still will be even if you do this, but there are 19 Gen 1 Legendary weapons = 9x Map completions, didn't we found every inch, every corner of the map already, is it fair to ask us to do this over and over.   10. Guys when you say its gonna be Meta, think about this. Did people cared about whether you had sigil of force or sigil of air back in the days when dps was similar. Once again this proc/effect isnt gonna be something OP so a fractal/raid will do fine without it just like its doing it now. And there are always some toxic players that you got now anyway regardless of this. Don't i see groups allowing exotic geared players to get into raids? Ofc most of them allow it as long as you know what your are doing.The way i see it as usuall its so difficult for people to accept a change its always so bad for them. And once the change has been made (not in gw2 but in general, in life) they protest about it the cry about it they get angry and in the end they accept it and done :D. Always has to be so hard right?Of course if Anet dev has mentioned something like this most of you would either agree or start thinking about it etc, just because a dev said it :D. And if its someone from the community you will totally disagree with. And you say that there are gonna be so many toxic players? hm. Maybe you mean there are and always have been just like now and toxicity only looks for a way out. Instead of possitive open minded people thinking how this can be implemented and make things more fun i see negative people who say straight up now without even thinking about it :D. Come on, make a damn effort to understand it.

Slightly unfair in WvW, say, but ultimately inconsequential in all but the highest form of PVE content. You may got me wrong... I mean something that actually makes difference (not visuals) but rather any kind of bonus ofc not too OP but something to cover up for the 2k gold you spend on compare to many high quality exclusive skins and black lion which are less than 200g most of them, so what they are practically giving us is footsteps and draw effect for another 1500g? i mean come on why bite the bait? :D just saying. Extra combo field now and then, some boon proc, passive regeneration resource,... i mean we can go on and on easy ideas for this that will make the legendary weapon - LEGENDARY This would also make legendary weapon meta, which means that players in fractals/raids starts to Ask ppl to ping legendaries. Dont belive me? We just got a new food that increase dps by 150 and its already meta.Anything bad about that?
  12. But that becomes a problem given fixed slots deny a second sigil (which is problem for some builds), or making it additive just sets the precedent for more power creep situations. I also have this problem when people use the term "meaningful" and then go on to describe "objectively better then everything else". "meaningful" has to be baked into the decision making process..... otherwise the whole exercise is pointless, since theres only one right answer. I was more thinking of it leaving both sigil slots open, as they are currently the "thematic flavour" you get for different legendaries. As for the effect, I don't see much harm if it's an "upon entering combat" or 60 sec icd effect given it will be disabled in sPvP anyways. For instance a 10% chance to apply 1 second cripple on critical hits won't make or break any builds, only means you will cripple a bit more with that weapon regardless what you run. It's supposed to give the weapon flavour - not you, so gameplay wise it doesn't have to be meaningful. its powercreep and ascended would have to be made to match. Ascended and legendary is similar in ability for a reason.Again they don't have to be who said that this should stay as imperial rule for the rest of the game. Be open for changes, it could make things more fun and better.
  13. And why not, have some sense of progression its not like they are adding new level cap every year. I mean we do 1 month and full maxed in this game vs never ending farm in other games, you know there could be a middle between right... There is a reason Fashion wars meme exist :D
